春本番 京都 蹴上・南禅寺エリアの桜 隠れスポット清流亭 南禅寺 蹴上インクライン Cherry blossoms in Keage & Nanznji area in Kyoto #京都観光
1. 清流亭（京都市左京区）
清流亭は南禅寺の山門の北西にあり、京都市内の隠れ桜スポットです。
清流亭内部は非公開なので、外からしか桜を鑑賞できませんが、見事な紅枝垂れ桜です。
もともと南禅寺の塔頭楞厳院(りょうごんいん)だった場所のようです。
タクシーや自家用車で行く方もいますが、道がせまいので徒歩で行かれることをおすすめします。

2. 南禅寺（京都市左京区）
臨済宗南禅寺派の大本山「南禅寺」は京都を代表する寺院の一つです。
紅葉の名所としても有名ですが、桜も約200本程植えてあるそうです。
私が撮影に行ったときはあまり多く咲いていませんでした（南禅寺は観光客が多いので撮影も少し大変です）。
入場・観覧：無料

3. 蹴上インクライン
蹴上インクラインは、南禅寺の近くにあり、全長582m、高低差約36メートルの急斜面で、船を運航するために敷設された傾斜鉄道の跡地です。明治から昭和にかけて、琵琶湖疏水を通航する運輸船により、滋賀と京都の米、薪炭、醤油、酒などの物資を頻繁に運んでいました。現在は、京都市内の人気の観光（写真）スポットになっており、紅葉や桜の時期はたくさんの方が訪れます。

1. Seiryutei (Sakyo ward, Kyoto city)
Seiryutei is located in the north-west of Nanzenji temple. This is one of the unknown places to see cherry flowers in Kyoto city. This villa is not open to the public but you can see sakura blooming from the street. The cherry trees here have pink flowers.
I recommend going there by walking.

2. Nanzenji temple (Sakyo ward, Kyoto city)
Zen Buddhist temple Nanzenji, founded in 1291, was formerly Emperor Kameyama’s residence. After going through the big impressive gate, you walk around the green leaves forest in summer and the red leaves forest in the autumn season. In spring, 200 cherry trees bloom in the garden.

3. Keage incline
Formerly a cargo railway, Keage Incline now serves as a sloping pedestrian trail. From 1891 to 1948, it transported rice, sake, and soy sauce from neighboring Shiga prefecture to Kyoto. It is actually a very popular tourist attraction in Kyoto, especially during cherry blossom and fall foliage seasons.
