【福岡観光(2泊3日)#3】柳川・太宰府・宗像エリア観光(御花/柳川藩主立花邸/立花氏庭園/さげもん/松濤園/国指定名勝)※2022.10.23-25
Fukuoka Prefecture Sightseeing Part 3 – Yanagawa, Dazaifu, Munakata Area – 2022/10/23-25 Shop and museum. I’ll go into it later.
This is the front entrance of the “Tachibana residence of the Yanagawa feudal lord.” It has both Japanese and Western textures. 4 00:01:50,000 –> 00:01:55,000 First, we will purchase an admission ticket to the Tachibana Garden.
1000 yen per adult. If you purchase a ticket, you can also enter the Tachibana Family Museum, so I would like to visit it. I will enter. (12:25 p.m.) There will be an explanation of the history and people of the Tachibana family.
It looks like it has gone deeper. Valuable items used by the Tachibana family are on display. Now it is Yanagawa, but before that, it seems that there was a castle on Mt. Tachibana in Chikuzen. This is the lord’s wife’s palanquin. It is called a “woman’s vehicle” and is decorated with gorgeous decorations.
After finishing the tour, I went outside. I’ll go to the store. Local ice cream is on sale. Stroll around the store. “Yanagawa Mari” and the famous “Sagemon” are on sale. It’s beautiful. This is the inside of the store. It’s the local “Tsurumiso”. I’m interested in “Mutsugoro Ramen” and “Eel Ramen”.
They are “Mutsugoro” and “Warasubo.” “Warasubo”‘s face is scary. It’s like an alien… Let’s move on. I’m off to see Ohana.
“Ohana” refers to the residence of Tachibana, the lord of the Yanagawa domain. It began in 1738 when Sadayoshi Tachibana, the fifth lord of the Yanagawa domain, established a mansion there. The existing “Great Hall” and “Western Building” were built in 1910 by the 14th generation, “Tomoharu Tachibana.”
I’m looking forward to the tour. In particular, I would like to take a closer look at the Tachibana Garden, which has been designated as a nationally designated place of scenic beauty, and the place where the “Sagemon” and “Hina Doll” decorations that are often broadcast on TV during the Doll’s Festival season are displayed.
This is the entrance. I entered the museum. Immediately after entering the building, there is a small courtyard with a camphor tree. (800-900 years old, circumference 550cm) There is a model of Yanagawa Castle (Yanagawa Castle) at the starting point of the tour course. I’m going to take a look inside.
Beyond is a “large hall” that looks like a courtyard. First, we will take a tour of the Western-style building along the route. “Yanagawa Mari”, “Sagemon”, “Photos of Flowers in the Courtyard”, etc. are on display. We have arrived at the Western-style building.
There is a toilet next to the entrance. I’ll take a look. It’s already Western in structure. I guess there are people who actually use it… Let’s move on. I’m going up to the second floor. This is the large hall of the Western building. I’m currently decorating for a wedding at the “Bridal Fair.”
This large hall is said to have been used as a guest room. *The fireplace is still in use. This is the back room of the large hall. This is the view from the back of the large hall. The ceiling is also elaborate.
This is the outside view from the second floor of the Western Building. Go down to the first floor. Let’s move on. It’s on the 1st floor of the Western Building. There seems to be a dining room and entrance. It’s the entrance. It’s a dining room. “Portrait of the 14th Count Kanji Tachihana.”
Next, we will go to see “Sagemon”. Let’s move on. “Sagemon” came into view. It’s amazing, luxurious and gorgeous. That’s impressive. There are also “Hina dolls”. It’s really beautiful, including “Sagemon”. The amount of exhibits is overwhelming.
This is the “Home Economics Bureau”. It is said to be the location of the organization that supported the management of the Tachibana family. It seems that they supported property management and daily life. This is “Sagemon” from “Teddy Pair”. Next, head to the large hall. Let’s move on. Behind this is a large hall.
From inside on the right side, you can see the Western-style building that we visited. The left side is the “Omi-living” room, and behind it is the famous “Shotoen”. The entire site, including Shotoen, has been designated as a national scenic spot as the Tachibana Garden.
It’s a fairly large living room. *On the table is a “Bridal Fair” event. This is a view of the garden called “Shotoen.” It’s stunning. It’s very spacious. As expected, this is the garden of the lord of the Yanagawa clan. It looks like it has rotated 360°. I’ll be back soon.
This is the “Kinpaku Oshimomonari Kabuto”. We returned to the starting point of the tour. The back is a rest space. I’ll take a short break. This is what the rest area looks like. From here, you can descend into the garden of “Shotoen”. Let’s go down a little later.
At the very back is a restaurant called Taigetsukan. Let’s go down. This is what Shotoen looks like. It’s beautifully built and well maintained. This is a commemorative photo, snap. Another snap. i will be back. I have completed all the tours. Let’s get out. There is also a “Sagemon” at the exit.
I came outside. It was quite fun and fulfilling. (13:35) *Recommended for everyone. Let’s take a look at the front side of the Western building. This is a commemorative photo, snap. This is “Japanese building”. They are the “Japanese-style building” and the “Western-style building (Western-style building).” * We are now going to “wander around”
The place we toured earlier . Let’s move on. I went out into town. Wandering along the river. (13:40) Let’s go to the famous riverside that you often see on TV. I would like to enjoy the scenery. This is the view, we have arrived. There is emotion.
I’m going to take a little walk. There are also quite a few tourists. It’s different from the company I sailed with, but it looks like you can go down the river here as well.
Since it was lunchtime, there was a long queue at the eel shop. There seem to be some famous shops. (There are several shops along both banks) There is also a temple. There was a tourist information center. Let’s go in. There was a stamp. I received a “Yanagawa sightseeing stamp”. Let’s move on.
This is a commemorative photo, snap. Another snap. One more snap. The store is now in sight. It looks like a “Sa BAR” shop you see on expressway SA. Looks interesting, I’ll try it out. Various items are on sale. *I received permission to take pictures, so I will take a closer look.
I’m curious about “Alien Energy” and “Alien Soup.” *Since “Mutsugoro Soup” is on sale, is it “Warasubo”? I’m also curious about “Mentaiko” ramen. There seem to be two flavors. I bought 2 types (normal and dry). The bag is cute. This is Hakushu’s birthplace.
I finished my walk. I’ll be back soon. There is a free shuttle bus provided by a tourist company that takes you down the river, so use it.
I took a ride. It runs once every hour from 12:00 to 16:00. We will take you to Nishitetsu Yanagawa Station via the boarding area. After going down the river, having a meal or sightseeing in the area, you can use it for free, which is very helpful.
I’m leaving. We will get off at the “boarding area”. (14:30) Arrival. I’ll get off. (14:40) Departure. (Thank you very much) This is the monument of the shrine in the back. It is called “Mihashira Shrine.” It seems that the last river boat left today. (Welcome!)
Head to “Three Pillars Shrine”. A person from Yanagawa Tourism Development gave us an explanation of the shrine. I heard that there is a rare tree there, so I decided to go there. *It looks like a ring depending on the angle!?
This is the end of the main story (Part 3). See you soon. (thank you very much)
