Hello everyone. Haneda Airport Terminal 3 in September 2023. We had some rice balls at the onigiri specialty store “Konga”. Today my family and I are heading to New York! I will be heading on ANA flight NH160 departing at 22:55. I’m flying business class and I’m so happy. ✨
I’m excited about ANA’s state-of-the-art private business class, “The Room.” It is spacious as it can be converted into a fully flat bed. The remote control and various control buttons are located here. By raising and lowering this partition, you can make it feel even more like a private room.
The seats are very wide, so I have to wear a shoulder belt during takeoff and landing. This is the GLOBE TROTTER amenity pouch. The inside looked like this. Lip balm and body lotion are L’Occitane. Slippers Noise Canceling Headphones We received champagne as a welcome drink.
After takeoff, we were served an amuse with drinks. the ANA original stick & marinated shrimp, cheese, and olive I ordered the kitsune udon. The fried rice was also delicious. My husband ordered Ippudo’s plant-based ramen, which seems to be popular. Before arriving, I asked for a Japanese meal.
The main dish was grilled red sea bream marinated in miso. Since I probably won’t be able to eat Japanese food for a while, I decided to give it a try. It was so delicious! My husband ordered Western food. The main dish is seafood pilaf. Comes with bread and marron dessert.
It was said that the seafood had a good flavor and was delicious. Next to the seat monitor is an accessory compartment, HDMI port, power supply equipment, and mirror. The remote control is a touch panel type, and you can also view the flight map.
I arrived at JFK International Airport late at night and was able to enter the country safely. ANA will arrive at Terminal 7. Immigration wasn’t that crowded. There was an Uber Pick Up across the street from the terminal, so I headed to the hotel from there.
I found the hotel where I will be staying tonight. We arrived in about 10 minutes from the airport. This 4-star hotel with casino facilities is located near JFK Airport. It opened in 2021. The lobby is also spacious and feels new and luxurious. There is also a cafe.
Today’s room is on the 8th floor. Now, let’s take a look inside the room! 2 Queen Bed Room. open closet. There were extra toilet paper and shower caps in the drawer. There is a full-length mirror in front of the door.
When I opened the mirror door, there was an iron and a baggage rack inside. ice buckets and cafe & tea set There were four types of capsules. Safety Box There was mineral water in the fridge Let’s take a look at the water area! The toilet is also spacious.
There is no bathtub, but there is a clean shower room. There was body lotion and soap in the sink. The art on the wall inspired by NY is very stylish! I could see a very large casino facility from the window.
On the other side of the bed was a large desk, light, power supply, and round mirror. Good morning. Since I had a plan to stay without meals, I went to the cafe on the first floor to buy breakfast. There were vending machines and a microwave on the floor where I stayed.
Take-out breakfast is available at the cafe on the lobby floor. There were also lots of snacks available. I had it heated up in my room and had it with coffee. I checked out. It was such a good hotel that it was a waste of time just to stay late at night.
I’m going to take an Uber to central New York. First, head to the hotel and ask them to leave your luggage. Arrived. It took about 50 minutes because there was traffic on the way. I will be staying here for 3 nights starting today.
We chose a hotel within walking distance to Times Square and other areas. First, let’s head to the most famous place, Times Square. It’s about a 20 minute walk from the hotel. It is one of the world’s leading entertainment destinations, with lots of people and cars coming and going. The 360-degree neon sign
Is said to be the “crossroads of the world,” and it feels like a dream to be standing in this view that you often see in movies and TV! ✨ I was simply overwhelmed. Head north on Broadway and head to Central Park!
It takes about 15 minutes to reach the southwest end of the large Central Park. I was thrilled to suddenly meet a cute squirrel! Surrounded by greenery, you can feel relieved. It also climbs trees. It has become a place of relaxation for citizens. It was originally used as a pasture for sheep.
It is a large and beautiful lawn area. I relaxed and felt like a New Yorker while looking at this view. Although this area alone feels spacious enough, the total area is said to be the size of 68 Tokyo Domes. I came to “Tavern on the Green” right next to Sheep Meadow.
Let’s have lunch time! All dishes are voluminous. I especially liked this salmon burger. The sauce was delicious and the food was great! I climbed up to the entrance of Belvedere Castle. I will try to climb further up. We crossed Central Park and arrived at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Fifth Avenue. Due to time constraints, I did not go inside today.
From the nearest 86 St station, take subway line 6 south to the 59 St station. Since this is my first time riding the subway, I will buy a MetroCard. There was a $1 fee for the card when it was issued. The system is to charge this and ride.
The MetroCard is scheduled to be phased out in 2024. I got off the subway at the 59th station. From here, walk a little further south down 5th Avenue. This is a shopping street where everything from luxury brands to casual brands are gathered. It’s so colorful that it’s fun just walking around ♪
President Trump was directing the traffic (lol) As expected of a real estate mogul! It is a skyscraper in a prime location. The upper floors are said to be luxury apartments. As expected, Uniqlo is everywhere you go. A conspicuous white building came into view.
It is said to be a beautiful Gothic building modeled after Cologne Cathedral in Germany. The interior seats approximately 2,400 people and has beautiful stained glass windows. Right across the street is the Rockefeller Center. It is lined with national flags and the golden carvings in front are impressive.
This place is famous for its Christmas tree and skating rink. At this time, it was a roller skating rink. I arrived at Grand Central Terminal. It has a great appearance. The door is made of wood and gives a sense of history. Let’s enter the main concourse!
It is a very open and sophisticated space with a historical feel. Many constellations are painted on the ceiling. It’s a giant American flag! Train timetables are digitally displayed. With 44 sides and 67 lines, it is the largest single station in the world. Take subway line 7 back to the hotel.
We will visit the Hudson Yards area at a later date. I’m back at the hotel. This is also a new hotel that opened in 2020. Let’s take a look inside the room where we will stay for the next 3 nights! 2 Queen Room The wall decoration design is so cool!
The wash basin is also clean! There were towels and a hair dryer underneath. I appreciate that it has a bathtub. It was a rain shower type. This is a full-length mirror, and when you open the door, it becomes a closet. There was an iron, safe, room wear and slippers.
There were reading lights, light switches, AC power, and alarms between the beds. There is a refrigerator under the desk across from you. There was also a kettle and drink set. I ordered dinner today through Uber Eats.
There were a lot of things that looked like Japanese food, so I wanted to try them out, so I ordered them. The rice bowls were delicious and had lots of ingredients, but the ramen soup seemed to have gotten cold during shipping. It can’t be helped because it’s a delivery service.
