This is Mouton from Cozier Style. I am now driving from Tokyo to Osaka. It is getting dark. We have arrived at the hotel.

The hotel here has a mechanical parking lot, and it costs 2000 yen per night. When I arrived at the hotel, the parking lot was already full, so I parked at the Osaka City parking lot that the hotel staff told me about. Let’s go in. Once inside, there is a bright, modern lobby.

There is a waiting area with sofas and tables. There is a corner in the lobby with snacks for sale and computers. There are drinks such as alcoholic beverages and snacks. You can also heat them up in the microwave oven next to it. There is a water server and a coffee maker.

Coffee is charged. The restaurant next to the lobby is a working space during the day and is open to the public. Now that we have completed check-in, we will head to our rooms. At the elevator, hold up my card key and select the floor I am going to.

We have arrived at the 4th floor where we will be staying. Fairfield by Marriott Osaka Namba opens in 2020. It is a Marriott business hotel. Open with a card key. Modern rooms with natural tones. Let’s take a room tour. There is a daybed near the window.

There is an electrical outlet conveniently located next to the daybed. The minibar has cups, an ice pail, a kettle, and free water. Tea bags include green and black tea, instant coffee, and milk. The refrigerator below is empty. Alcohol wet wipes on the table. Let’s take a look at the beds. Two single beds.

There are one-piece pajamas on the bed. On the bedside there is a switch for the room light and an outlet. Below is a clock, a telephone, and a memo pad. There is also a leaflet introducing the hotel’s facilities. In front of the bed is a large TV.

Right next to the bed is a washbasin. Let’s take a look at the top of the washbasin. Hand soap and cup. Amenities are minimal: toothbrush, body towel, cotton set, razor, and comb. There is an electrical outlet on the side of the vanity and towels and a hair dryer under the vanity.

There is a shower room to the side. There are two types of showers: a rain type and a hand type. The shampoo and body soap provided are NIRVAE. In addition to the facilities, disposable shampoo and body soap were distributed in the lobby.

There is a hook near the door to hang bath towels, which is convenient. There is a sliding door between the bed and the changing room. The light switches are divided into separate switches for the shower room and changing room, showing consideration for the people staying with me.

Next to the shower room is a toilet. It is equipped with a bidet. There is a hanger rack and luggage storage next to the entrance. There is no closet, and it is a minimal furnishing. The number of hangers is sufficient. There is a shoe cleaner and slippers underneath.

The slippers have the Fairfield logo. There’s also a security box and an ironing set. When using the iron, it looks like you can use the outlet at the foot of the shelf. Wi-fi speed is 48Mbps. This is a simple but functional room with a well thought out flow line.

Now that we are hungry, let’s go have dinner. The hotel restaurant only serves breakfast, so it is recommended to eat at a nearby restaurant. We have arrived. This is Okonomiyaki Ponpokotei, Naniwa Motomachi restaurant. There are many autographs of famous people. We will have it here in a box seat.

This restaurant serves okonomiyaki and teppan-yaki, and there are so many delicious dishes to choose from that it is hard to decide. He brought me the drink I ordered. Cheers. I was tired from the car ride, so the highball tasted great. The first dish is grilled scallops.

It looks thick, freshly grilled, and delicious. The scallops are plump and have just the right amount of salt. The second dish is stir-fried pork with kimchi. The combination of the pork flavor and the spiciness of the kimchi is perfect. It goes well with highballs. The last dish is Modern Yaki.

It is cut into pieces with a spatula. It is full of udon noodles and delicious with full of sauce. It’s also perfectly grilled. Thank you very much for the meal. We are very satisfied with the delicious Osaka cuisine. We are back at the hotel.

I’m full, so I decide to do some light exercise before going to bed. I arrived at the second floor. There is a fitness gym and a laundry area on the second floor. Use the card key to enter the gym. It is a compact gym. There is a free weight corner and cardio machines.

In addition, there are alcohol wet tissues, towels, and a water server on the shelf here, which is appreciated. When leaving the gym, use this button to unlock and open the door. Let’s also take a look at the laundry space. There are two washing machines and two dryers.

The washing machine is the type that automatically throws in detergent. Now let’s go back to our room and get ready for bed. The water pressure of the shower is just right, and you can switch between three levels to choose the water pressure you like. I feel refreshed.

We will have it at Alice’s Table, a restaurant in the hotel. The space is modern yet warm with natural colors. Let’s get our dishes. There are salads, fruits, cold dishes with meat and fish, and Japanese dishes such as miso soup. There’s also a selection of Japanese and Western hot dishes.

There are also desserts, yogurt, milk and juice. There is also a kitchen, and it looks like we can get egg dishes and hot noodle bowls. I have taken the dishes. Let’s have it. This is shrimp with mayonnaise. The shrimp is plump and delicious. The marinated chicken is sour and refreshing.

The bread is served with my favorite blueberry jam. Tomato juice and Japanese food were also delicious. Finally, we have dessert with coffee. Rare cheesecake, chocolate cake, and pudding. They are all sweet, simple and delicious. They go well with coffee.
