What’s up everybody and welcome to another chaotic travel video and today yeah we’re   starting things off pretty horrendously we  woke up this morning we’re sipping on our   nice morning coffees we thought we had plenty of time to catch our train to Prachuap Khiri Khan which  

Is where we’re going to today we’re taking the express train and we realised we were about 3 hours  wrong in terms of the time that we  thought the train was leaving so we are   currently waiting on a grab driver hopefully he shows up in time because we only have roughly  

Around half an hour before this train departs  so hearts are beating faster than normal we   have our bags packed we packed our bags in  literally around 90 seconds we just threw   everything in there so hopefully we didn’t  forget anything but let’s go to Prachuap Khiri Khan

Hopefully Happy New Year New Year thank you oh my good all righty guys we made it to the train  station with roughly around 25 minutes or so you thank you so much thank you byee do you  mind if I take a photo with you yeah take

Picture Okay 1 2 3 thank you so much  have a good day thank you so much bye-bye yeah guys just to give you an idea  what just happened we were literally relaxing   in bed and I was taking a sip off my coffee  checking the ticket not thinking anything bad  

I was like huh why don’t I have a look if it  says the platform or something like that and   then it literally said 1118 instead of the  assumed 1348 and uh yeah but we managed we   got a grab thank God that guy came really  really fast because uh if he would have  

Taken like a long time to come to us or if  we would have uh taken a long time to find   a grab or whatever we definitely would have  missed this train but now we’re here with a   lot of time to spare he was a professional  grab driver probably the friendliest driver  

That we’ve had in a long time as well so let’s  go into the station and figure out what platform   we’re on do you have the ticket I believe so  what does it say which platform uh hello ahap   ticket already yeah ticket already yeah you  can walk platform three yeah okay okay nice

C I’m just wondering right now if we should  maybe get some snacks or something like that   because we’re taking the special Express it  is an Express train apparently so like a rapid   train to Prachuap and um oh yeah I’ve no idea to  be honest if there’s going to be food served  

On the train or not uh usually second and third  class you have people running up and down the   train I don’t know about the other trains  so we’ll see what happens that’s what I’m   wondering right now because it’s the special  Express train we’re going to go to pratab in  

I believe under two hours so uh yeah I don’t  even know if it’s going to stop anywhere for   people to get on to sell something we have  a bottle of water but that’s about it ah but  

Then again it’s only two hours so should be fine  in terms of food even if there isn’t something   no oh yeah we’re going to be fine it’s a very  very hot by the way absolutely sweating and we  

Were just in a well air conditioned taxi I’m  already covered in sweat now we’ve just been   out of the car for like 30 seconds it will  arrive at the platform number three soon you   think that we apologize for this inconvenience  you think the scooter driver was correct by  

Saying platform 3 or maybe it’s the only one  that is even accessible so he was probably right the last time we were here at the train  station it was completely dark so we didn’t   actually see the extent of the um construction  that is going on here but as you can see they  

Are they seem to renew everything around champon  station I believe even the um main arrival house   over there was changed from the looks of it  there’s like an old house here sort of and   then there’s a new house behind so yeah I think  they they are adjusting everything here money  

Well spent okay let’s have a look if there’s a  person working here that we can talk to to see   if we’re on the right track because obviously  there’s also a track four and five H the tell  

Have a look if this is the right platform well  let’s see guys if this is our train I believe it   is they just made an announcement and everybody  seems to be standing and waiting for this train so it looks different to the ones  that we’ve taken before that’s for

Sure now we are in car number three so not this one train special Express okay all right guys the mad rush begins making our way to number three yeah yeah very small you really have to squeeze  that was a squeeze guys wow it says  

Seoul Korea yeah on the train wa is  this train Korean okay I am confused well guys we made it onto the train very grateful  and uh AC is blasting it’s nice and cold on here   seems to be very comfortable um it looks totally  different to every train that we’ve taken so far  

In Thailand very interesting um the entire layout  is sort of different um other than you still have   the fence here at the ceiling that’s about the  same but the rest um you don’t have Windows that   go down all the way or are completely open or  anything like that now that’s because there’s  

AC on this train um so it’s uh quite a nice  temperature in here and we’re so happy that   we made it onto this train I was so stressed I  was really thinking we’re not going to make it  

We have to stay another day in champon which  would have been fine like I love champon but   like we had this train booked to go uh North so  yeah but we have a nice amount of uh space even  

For tall farangs on this train and um yeah very  nice atmosphere relatively quiet I don’t want to   be like shouting around because it seems like  some people are like sleeping and uh it’s a as  

We said in in the beginning it’s from apparently  a a Korean train from Soul and it said like 1996   so it’s a little bit of an older model but it’s  still nice it’s super like I really like it I  

Would just wish I had a window here true I wonder  what the views are going to be like we’ll see   we’ll see as we go along it’s not a very long  journey I think we should be roughly around 2

Hours tell you what guys we’re very impressed  with just how convenient easy going and cost   effective as well train travel is in Thailand this  is our third time taking a train in Thailand and   this one here is particularly comfortable  cost effective everything is really really  

Nice we have a gorgeous view of the amazing  nature of the T Countryside and where I am   standing right now I’m literally in between  kind of the toilet and the actual cabin areas   as well so it is pretty loud and I’m sorry  about that if you can’t really hear me very  

Well in side in the cabin a lot of people are  sleeping taking it easy it’s very well air   conditioned incredibly comfortable and just  have a look at the amazing views of the Tha Countryside it doesn’t get much better  really doesn’t get much better than this

Now this train does actually seem to be from  roughly around the late ’90s and possibly   manufactured in so in Korea somewhere that we have  never been somewhere that is absolutely on our   bucket list though we would love to see Korea at  some time but it’s quite expensive we would love  

To do the re proper local Korea and experience  that for ourselves but yeah this is a really   fantastic training experience we’re enjoying  the comfortable seats as well and uh the seats   go back Avid a significant amount almost totally  um horizontal which is fantastic and we should  

Be in prua Kiran in roughly around an hour or so  fantastic Journey so far and we’re we’re going to   bring you guys along with us while we search for  our accommodation as well we don’t have anything  

Booked in pra but we’re just going to see what we  can find when we get off this train we’re going   to wander into the center of prap and see where we  end up so let’s go on an on an adventure to prap C pan

Now believe it or not the best view  in the entire train here is from the toilet I came in here just to see what it’s like  and I’m not going to lie it’s incredibly small   I kind of have to crouch down lean against  the wall just to basically stand here that  

I can barely I can barely fit through  this door but W The View makes up for it [Music] oh don’t hit your head cocon C oh you’re getting pulled out of the train is so  efficient amazing we made it we made it to Prav  

Now the normal train would have been like around  4 hours and we only took like 2 hours now so it   is a special Express trade it’s definitely special  it’s definitely Express and uh I think the thing  

That makes it special is what Naomi just said  it’s just how quick and easy that trip was it   was very comfortable well air conditioned and  fast as well now the train is also definitely   on the older side of life I think 1996 was  probably when this was manufactured at least  

That’s what it said and in Korea so what a unique  experience and uh what a great experience as well   overall I think it was well worth the money if  for being honest and uh welcome to prab Kiran  

It’s so bright in prab this way cup cooker we’ve  been walking in the wrong direction this entire   time so so funny anyway even though the train is  27 years old uh absolutely amazing experience and   I think uh one of the more comfortable here  in Thailand so far we’ve been having quite  

A few positive and some negative experiences in  Thailand with trains but this was definitely uh   the best one so far I want to say no definitely  definitely the best one that we’ve had so far uh   we also got talking to a lovely couple that  was from Wales and Germany on that train and  

Um they’re on their way now to hin uh somewhere  that we also looked at going but because it’s   uh peak season roughly around these parts at  the moment Wan is probably relatively packed   right now but prap seems to be very peaceful  so far or at least in the train station it’s  

Very peaceful right now by the way we do not have  an accommodation so far uh like I said guys we we   have nowhere booked at all uh where we are right  now so we’re going to bring you guys with us and  

Try and get ourselves into an accommodation we’re  just going to randomly pick Maybe random places   and uh see where we end up see if we can land  ourselves a little bit of a bargain here in pra here we go guys this is the

Sign yes sorry if I’m in the way welcome to  another new destination for us to take off   another Province as well we just had a look at  the list of provinces 77 provinces in Thailand   and we realized how little of Thailand we’ve  actually covered wow it’s incredibly hot right  

Now what did we say how many provinces we saw  like five or six five or six provinces so far   is all we’ve seen so so little we have a lot  more to cover in this beautiful country I think  

This is out okay made our way outside let’s go  and check out a couple of accommodations around here okay so we just quickly opened up  Google Maps and put in a place that was   close by to the train station and we came  up with a place that is called yuti chai  

Hotel and we’re very very close to it  it’s only 100 m or so from the train   station so we’re going to pop in here and  uh ask them if they have some availability   and see if we can land ourselves a room  at the yti chai Hotel looks very very beautiful

Hello looking for a hotel  we don’t know great thank you brilliant guys so made our way to  the UT Cho and we actually uh managed   to book a room or two room rooms actually  so they have an AC room for the first two  

Nights so we’re going to do two  nights of AC and then two nights   in a fan room ooh look at this kind  of like an old Thai style house very beautiful let’s check out the room and see  you so popcorn cup thank you that’s quite nice thank

You wow this is beautiful super cool very nice so  basically guys the cost for an AC room is 500 B   per night which works out to around 13 Euro which  is fantastic right here in the center right next  

To the train station very close to pretty much  everything and then this is the cost for The Fan   Room For The Fan Room 9 350 but 96 so they didn’t  have the AC room available for 4 days which is why  

We’re going to do two days here and then two days  in a fan room which I believe we’ll be fine yeah   I think the rooms are quite like even AC is not  so it’s not on right now it’s still like breedy  

And cold yeah fresh you know this is not bad at  all um very large double bed I really love the   the pillows as well and uh gorgeous decoration  very very nice colors very calm room as well and  

Uh very large room and there’s the AC like I said  big bed you have got towels we have a kettle which   is hugely important for us with some clean clean  mugs we can have ourselves a coffee and bathroom  

As well and there’s no extra light oh there’s no  light oh okay that’s fine just one big basically   like a wet room situation nice shower and what  more could you expect for 500 B it’s also open  

In the top so it’s open at the top yeah if one  of us is using the toilet the other one knows   yep there’s no uh discretion about going to the  use the toilet the view is is nothing special  

I think it’s basically out onto a little bit of  a courtyard space that seems to be used kind of   maybe for a little bit of storage or something  like that oh you can’t look outside I’m sorry  

It’s all right let’s try and squeeze you guys  through here there you go that’s about as far   as I’m going to put it out but uh yeah perfect  we couldn’t have gotten any luier I think cuz we  

Just rocked up here and uh hoped that they had a  room and luckily they had one AC and one fan so we   are sorted we have this Theory at the moment that  it’s going to be cheaper if you just walk up to  

The hotel and just ask hey do you have obviously  if you have like a travel lifestyle like we do   don’t do this if you’re just going on vacation  please if you just have two weeks don’t do it  

But um we have this Theory at the moment that  if you just walk up to the hotel and not book   it through you know your or Agoda or booking.com  or whatever that it’s going to be cheaper because  

Obviously the sites are taking usually like  20 30% or something like that uh as a booking   fee so the price is obviously going to be more  expensive and that’s why we did this today and I  

Think it paid off this hotel is listed online uh  quite a bit more as what we paid so I think it’s   roughly almost around 100 B more per night as  what we in compared to what we paid so I think  

We got ourselves a bargain and uh if we didn’t  get a room here we would have just walked to   the next hotel which is pretty much next door so  it worked out really well and uh welcome to pwap  

Everybody yeah pwap Kyan now uh it’s quarter  2 to and uh because we were not so smart this   morning of course uh we didn’t eat anything I’m  super hungry I need to get something to eat now  

Like immediately so uh let’s just pop out and uh  get get something to eat please let’s go get some   lunch well welcome to yet another new destination  pwap Kiran or pkk I think as they abbreviated us  

And uh wow this is literally only around 100 m  or so from where we just checked in at the UT UT   chai hotel and this seems to be the main Pier of  prap going to go and check it out oh and there’s  

A beach right here as well this is beautiful  oh wow right on the beach here look at this oo absolutely gorgeous as always Thailand  Thailand never ceases to absolutely blow   our pants off when it comes to views here yeah  look at the temple there in the distance there’s  

A Temple up on top of a Hilltop off there in  the distance you better believe we will walk   up there we will be going up there yeah possibly  in the next video Luke is living a life of having  

To walk everywhere up with me yeah I see the  highest point very close by and I’m like this   is where we need to be every time yeah wow First  Impressions so far of pwap I have to say it’s  

Very tranquil very peaceful extremely quiet very  very nice not so many people rocking around here   at the moment now it is the middle of the day so  exceptionally warm and sun is beating down right

Now but very very very nice this is exactly once  again the type of place that we love and adore   this is why we liked chumon so much because it  was very relaxed a lot of the beaches beaches  

In chumpon were very empty for the most part as  you guys would have seen in our previous videos   this seems to be kind of a similar Vibe ah from  far away sorry guys I’m just realizing something  

Now uh from far away I thought that this is an  island well one two here on the left those are   islands but you can actually walk all the  way till the end of that first Green Hill  

There it looks like it’s one long stretch you  can actually yeah you can walk over there you   can walk over there and then maybe maybe you  can swim that little stretch that’s cool that  

Would be nice no that’s an idea I can see like  a little beachy there over there in the in the   Middle Island and the beach in the last Island  as well maybe uh if we take waterproof equipment  

Maybe you can just go or maybe there’s just like  a small Ferry or something like a rowing boat or   something where that brings locals from point A  to point B maybe we can get some Transportation  

There sorry I’m doing my old man looking into  the distance face uh yeah but this is this is   so far very cool very nice I didn’t expect  these islands to be here at all I wasn’t I  

Wasn’t aware that all of this is the case oh  by the way the same counts for the left side   it’s also one long stretch all the way till the  end this place is very very beautiful it seems  

To be basically kind of shaped shaped like this  so we’re kind of in in the middle of like a very   large Bay situation is what it looks like it’s  gorgeous oh I think they’re giving offerings here oh interesting SAA hello I think  they’re giving offerings yeah

Offering oh he’s looking for a lighter to light  the incense now I get it now I know what’s going   on yeah they’re doing an offering here very  cool place to do that I’m so happy you guys   I’m really stoked and I didn’t expect it  at all because as always we just sort of  

Have zero organization and we just showed up and  this is what we showed up to so you’re seeing it   together with us for the very first time and  it’s wow so beautiful on real we literally  

We do zero research 99% of the locations that  we go to we never actually put in any research   we just like to show up and show the authentic  real local side of these places and uh this is   pretty astonishing very beautiful I’m really  excited have a nice day really excited to go  

For a swim and uh cool off and also we do need to  find some food somewhere along here because once   again as always we haven’t eaten and it’s like  2:00 in the day so yeah I’m very excited to get  

Get some food now we saw some like boat noodle  shops maybe or something like that along the   way we just tried to get out money first because  we still have to pay our accommodation so now we  

Can walk back and maybe get some boat noodles or  something like that yeah let’s do it we’re going   to show you guys maybe a nice spot to eat and  the total price by the way now guys that we’ve  

Settled on for four nights in this hotel they  actually came back to us and said that we can   have the AC room for three nights so that’s great  news for us uh so three nights of AC one night of  

Fan and the total cost is 1,850 B which breaks  it down to roughly around 12 per night that’s   a great bargain considering how Central we are  and the fact that we have AC and I tested out  

The Wi-Fi as well and the Wi-Fi is perfect so it  doesn’t get better than this let’s go and get some lunch beef noodles beef noodles cow which  I don’t know what it is and saiw which I   also don’t know what it is only one  of the things on the menu translated  

But we’re going to get the beef noodles  beef noodles yeah two beef noodles if   they are open they are open we just need  to tell them only 45 bad as well the thin   ones or the thick ones I want the thick  ones yeah this one this one yeah popcorn

Cy Happy Days guys can’t go wrong with beef  noodles and we’re actually right beside our   hotel from here our hotel is basically basically  next door so win-win situation it also looks like   there’s a little Night Market currently um  starting to set up so I think in the evening  

Time we are well covered as well it’s just you  can not see it because it’s too bright out there   I’m very sorry but they’re just uh outside of  our hotel basically building up a night market   right now so for tonight we’re also going to  be covered and I’m really looking forward to  

Some both noodles or beef noodles we haven’t had  noodles in a while no long time it’s been a while   since we had a good noodle dish and uh it’s very  warm guys wow sweating like crazy we only we’re  

Only around two 2 to 4 hours north of chumon  where we were and uh it feels warmer it actually   does feel warmer than it was in chumon which is  interesting I think it’s roughly the humidity  

Is lower here because it’s more dry season seems  to be less humid here overall look at this place   here guys this is a seems to be very traditional  and beautiful little place for food so we’re 178  

Km North from champon right now okay not not too  far not too far but it’s a pretty big difference   in weather interesting I love all this stuff I  think you can get your own uh drink with some  

Ice I don’t know if we’re about to just open  it but I think you can get it c c c thank you magic that looks amazing oh and it  already smells so nice I love all of   the noodle soups in Thailand they’re usually  so good look at this big monstrous thing of

Sauce oh it looks so good looks so good  now what they usually do is they have   the soup some were boiling in a pot  beside them and then the noodles are   just basically freshly cooked um to  Perfection to order I wanted to say  

But I forgot the word to order let’s just  try the broth immediately because I’m so hungry oh yeah beautiful that’s very  tasty it’s actually it’s not so heavy   on the fannel I feel like in Northern Thailand  it’s a little more heavy on the fanel usually  

This one is a little softer on the fanel  but super super tasty very strong Taste of beef so hot that is absolutely beautiful I really enjoy  this and this is only 55 but per serving super   good it’s perfect guys if you are looking at  prap maybe considered y chai Hotel you don’t  

Have to do it like we did you don’t have to  just show up you can book it online but if   you want to save yourself maybe 100 b or so  per night just walk in and book directly and  

Uh maybe they’ll have a room maybe they  won’t Co cup thank you magic perfect you   me to film you eat [Music] yeah oh yeah  the smell off of this is unreal now I’m   going to go straight in for the juicy beef my  favorite meat in all of the world oh cupcorn

[Music] tender so tender explodes  in your mouth juicy fraty this is exactly what we need exactly what we  need to break our fast uh we haven’t eaten   anything so far today just been living off  water and uh this is perfect right now this  

Is really going to hit the spot guys we’re so  excited to be here in prup and I’m so excited   to eat the rest of these noodles this is  heaven right here we got also by the way   yeah water and ice for free us usually  in these types of restaurants Yep this  

Is a it’s amazing you’re probably going to  spend roughly around 100 or 110 B going to   be full and you’re going to be hydrated  and well looked after this is [Applause] [Music] perfect genuinely unbelievable  beef noodles probably up there with my  

Best noodles that I’ve had actually I’m working  my way through the last bit of it now but wow   so tender and delicious it was so tasty that I  already finished mine usually usually Luke eats  

A lot faster than I do but today I was just  like I need this in my ballet right now and   that’s what I did so yeah Luke is still eating  I uh I found the location of this business on  

Google Maps so I’m going to make sure to put  it in the video somewhere here for you guys   just so you know what to look out for here in  pra this place is definitely worth checking out well guys a nice little surprise there  at the end it was actually only 45 bat per  

Beef noodle soup so that worked out too grand  total of 90 B which is roughly around just   over €2 unreal and like I said please if you are  visiting prap check them out absolutely [Music] delicious

Today we are taking the rapid express train to Prachuap Khiri Khan in Western Thailand. This train was an interesting experience and certainly faster than the other train option which would of added around 2 hours to our journey.
