The cops have been watching us for a while. They’re being reckless. Who do they think they are? Good morning, people. It’s 8 in the morning and we’re starting out with this local breakfast in Entrerrios. Kaito is having some eggs with rice, and I’ve got some eggs with an “arepa” and some cheese.

We also have some chocolate here. How is it? We woke up at about seven in the morning today. We were completely exhausted last night. We haven’t been sleeping much the last couple of days. So we went to bed like at 9:30 and we slept for like about 10 hours. It was nice.

There was this Colombian match going on yesterday, last night. And this town was completely celebrating, right? It was super noisy on the street, but we managed to sleep somehow. And yeah, it’s unbelievable how these little towns can be, like really lively and, like, really noisy sometimes in a good way.

We couldn’t sleep at the beginning. Yeah. Okay. It’s time to leave. It’s 9:48 a.m. We have a beautiful day today. It’s sunny. It’s warm. The perfect day to ride. Okay, here we go. Oh, my God. That’s a steep road there! And there is a speed reducer just starting. Shoot. Come on. Okay.

To the left. I don’t want to stop there. Okay. I forgot to clip my helmet. Hold on. Oh, my God. That little dog just pooped there. The poop is right in the middle of the street. Okay, let’s go. Wow. Look at those views, man! Good morning. Wow, this is beautiful.

I actually forgot to tell you guys that this town is actually known as the Switzerland of Colombia. And I guess I know why. I mean, on the way here, you only see these beautiful green mountains with lots of cows around. So it does have like a Switzerland vibe, I’d say.

Today we’re going to be leaving this beautiful town of Entrerrios, and we’re going to go to another small town called Caracoli. It’s only about 150 kilometers away from here. Publicity in Colombia. That’s how it goes. So, yeah, it’s going to be 160 kilometers, 150 kilometers, more or less.

Probably the first part of the road it’s going to be paved. And at the very end, we might have a little bit of unpaved road. I think it will take us about 3 hours, 3 hours and a half to Caracoli. This small town of Entrerrios is actually a very, very small town,

And it only has 3 hotels. Three very small hotels. What is this? Hey buddy. Oh, beautiful horse. Oh, man. We haven’t even left the town and there’s already lots of things happening here. We’re taking a small detour here to explore these green mountains. Whoa, there’s a lot of dust, man.

I’m eating up all of Kaito’s dust. Ooh. There’s a lot of loose rocks here. Ooh. Ooh. Wow. Wow, man. Look at these little cows up here. Beautiful. Horses up there. Wow. Actually, this path takes us completely to a different place, so we’ve got to turn around and get on the main road again.

Sh** Oh, no, Boo. I got myself into some trouble. Shoot. I really gotta practice this. Thanks Boo. Okay. Thanks Boo. Wow, look at this. Kind of a lake or reservoir? There’s people navigating there. Check how stunning this view is! I’m speechless with this view. We’ve been enjoying this view for two days straight,

But you still can’t get enough of it. What a stunning view! This place is packed with mountains, but it’s not like in Japan where trees cloak them entirely. Here, the grass is short, and there are cows roaming everywhere. That’s what makes this view so dang special.

It makes me want to snap photos non-stop. Whoa. Oh, man. There’s a skateboard park over there! I’m not sure if it’s a small or big town, but there are loads of houses. There are loads of buildings. Check that out. Quite a unique view with those mountains in the background.

There’s a stunning cathedral over there. Looks like a big town, doesn’t it? There’s a gas station, and a mini market. I figure this is the downtown area. There’s a ton of gas stations! Three just on this block! What’s that on that truck? Are those pigs over there? Lots of pigs!

Colombia’s just packed with animals. Lots of pigs and cows. Let’s take this backroad. How nice. Now, this is my kind of spot. We’re riding alongside the river. There’s a village to the right. How nice. Lovely. I like that the road is not in perfect condition. The dogs here aren’t on leashes.

And roosters are free to roam around too. This is Colombia, guys! Hello. He’s actually taking a leak. I said hi while he was taking a leak. What a cool road. Close call. Wow. This isn’t sand. It isn’t gravel. It’s rocks. Wow. We keep going. What a road. What a road!

I wasn’t expecting this kind of road. Check the view on my right side! Absolutely stunning! There are cars on this road, and would you look at that, a truck too! Surprising, isn’t it? Pretty surprising to find people living out here, huh? Hello. This road stretches out longer than I thought!

I’m starting to think we took a wrong turn. To my right, it’s all barbed wire. If I fall, I’ll get caught in the barbed wire. What’s that? A water pipe? You guys can’t smell it, but this place stinks of cow Close call. stinks of cow or horse poop.

This place must be known for farming. The smell is intense! I can’t believe cars actually drive on this road! It’s way too rough! Looks like we’re not on the right track. Dead end. Looks like it’s someone’s house. We’re lost. Should we backtrack all the way to the main road?

The only option is to head back to the main road? Yes. You have to go back. There’s no way forward. Ah okay. Thank you. Thank you. I don’t know why Google maps sent us this way. There’s no way to go across,

So we got to go back all the way to the main road, and find a path there, I guess. We were for about 20 minutes on this off-road, I guess. And now we got to go back. Hey buddy. Hello. You need one of those trucks or a motorbike like an adventure bike.

But locals here do not have an adventure bike to go up these hills. Or a horse, I guess. I think this is the end of the off-road part. Back to the main road. Ahh, you guys. What an adventure. Thanks to Google maps we had a little piece of off-road today.

It was fun, it was fun. I got to say. But now we got to find the true road, the true path that will take us to Caracoli. Oh, honey, again, your bag is a little bit to the side. Let’s find a place where you can fix it.

Maybe you should put the straps through one of the straps of the bag, you know. So that it doesn’t move. That’s what I did with mine. Whoa, whoa. What’s wrong, man? Everything alright? You guys, this is the hitchhiking style in Colombia.

You see that guy over there sitting on the back of that truck? And he’s just chilling there, man! Oh, God. Look at… Look at his position there. Just enjoying the views, you know. Look at him. Can we pass through? It’s starting to move. Is this tuk tuk going to let me through?

Two other hitchhikers in Colombia. Look at that. Nice. I wonder where they come from. It is getting pretty hot. This morning at Entrerrios, it was 19°C. It was a little bit chilly. But where we’re going right now is even hotter. It’s about 26 degrees, 28°C. It can go even up to 30°C.

That is pretty hot. I’m pretty happy with this inner jacket we brought this time, because it allows the wind to go through it and when we’re going to go across the mountains at high altitudes, we got another jacket that goes on top of this one. It is the perfect combo, you guys.

Wow. There was a huge accident there. Oh, my God. A truck completely flipped to the side. That was risky! I just broke into a sweat. Risky! The cops have been watching us for a while. I can’t believe the police are driving on the opposite lane! Oh, man!

Is it okay to be driving on the opposite lane? Colombia can get chaotic. And there’s oncoming traffic. They’re being reckless. Who do they think they are? I just want to leave them behind. I got annoyed. Right, here. Looks like we made it to the town center. This looks like a mini market.

They sell sweets. There are lots of tuk tuks! Tuk tuks are booming in Colombia. I don’t think there’s a lot of people coming this way. Ever since we passed that little village, we’ve only crossed one truck. That’s it. No motorbikes, no cars, nothing at all. What is this? Is it closed? Oh shoot!

Maybe they’re doing some work and we can’t go until I don’t know what time. Hello. Till when is the road closed? Here’s the deal. I could let you through to the gas station. Okay. But pass that point, I’m not sure if you can continue because they’re paving the road. Ah okay.

Your best shot is to ask them if they can let you by. It can work because we can squeeze on through. You’ll have to check with them. Go with caution, there’s a machine removing concrete up ahead. We’ll take it slow and slide on through. Keep an eye out to avoid getting tangled there.

Will do. Thank you. Be cautious. We will. Thank you. So she let us through. She said to be careful because there’s a bulldozer working down here. I guess they let us through because we’re on motorbikes, but they won’t let big cars go through until they finish working

And I don’t know what time that will be. Hello. This is where we got to go slow. Hello. Thank you. No car would fit through here. Only motorbikes. So we’re lucky. Oh yeah. They’re working here on the road. And I think we’ve made it to town. Oh, we made it to Caracoli.

It’s a pretty secluded village. Is it here? Caracoli. Yeah, Ecohostel Caracoli. Yeah, it’s here. And I think it’s the only hostel, the only hotel in the whole town. It looks really nice. Yeah, it’s a pretty cool room. We even got a fan. It’s going to be hot tonight. Oh, yeah. Nice.

Love it here. Let me introduce you to the town of Caracoli. Caracoli. It is a very small town and only 4500 people live here. And most of them do not even live in the town, but in the surrounding mountains you see. Like that one over there and those ones in the back.

That is pretty amazing. We’re actually at the main square here. This is something not very common. Most of the small towns in Colombia have a lot of restaurants around the main park, but not this one. This one is a pretty quiet one.

It has a big church over there and just houses surrounding the park. What’s really interesting is that if this were a town in Japan, you wouldn’t see many young people around. Here, there are tons of kids around. You even see 10-year-olds riding motorbikes. It’s a very lively town.

That’s why visiting these small towns is so interesting. Also, it’s interesting to see that in every hotel, there’s no hot water for showers. I guess it makes sense, considering it’s 26°C now. Yeah. And it’s already like 6 p.m, so… It’s like that year round, right? Yeah, it’s the same.

That’s why no hot water is needed. I’m going to try some local “empanadas” here. That one’s the meaty one, not the carton. Do you prepare the spicy sauce yourself too? Yes. Very tasty. Delicious. We found this local place that prepared “burritos” just in front of the main park.

And we’re going to have dinner, then go to bed. If you liked this video, guys, don’t forget to give it a big thumbs up and also subscribe down below to our channel. So you in the next adventure. Bye. Is it tasty?

Gooooood Luck!

🏍️🏍️ Bisous 🥰.
