ロンドン2🇬🇧世界中のお宝が集まる大英博物館|ロンドンのグルメが集結するマーケットへ。

Hello everyone. In the previous video, we went to Bicester Village Outlet, which can be reached in one hour by train from London, England. Today’s video is a continuation of that. Tonight, we are having dinner at a very popular Indian restaurant in the UK called Dishoom. This restaurant takes reservations for breakfast and lunch,

But it seems like you can’t get a reservation at night unless you’re a large group, so if the timing is bad, you’ll have to line up. Britain has had a deep connection with Indian cuisine since colonial times. The atmosphere was different from an Indian restaurant I had imagined,

But more like a stylish cafe/restaurant. I ordered the mango and fennel seed lassi. The combination of mango and fennel seeds in a yogurt base is exquisite. Wow! It’s very delicious and I’m impressed.

Although the seasoning is very simple, the spices are exquisite and it is a dish that may go well with a beer or cocktail. Chicken tikka is a classic Indian dish in which small pieces of chicken are mixed with spices and rich yogurt and then grilled in a pot.

A tomato-based curry sauce made with grilled chicken. It’s not spicy, it’s mellow and rich, and I think even people who don’t like spicy food can enjoy it. It’s delicious. Dishoom was very tasty. Speaking of Indian food, I thought it would be very spicy, so I was a little worried,

But Dishoom’s food had mild spices, so it was easy to eat. Everything we ordered was very delicious. I enjoyed the chicken ruby curry. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the food was delivered quickly. This restaurant does not take reservations at night, but you can make reservations until the evening.

We recommend making a reservation around 5pm. I believe they don’t take reservations after 5:15, so make sure to make a reservation before then. A little rain. It started to rain. When it rains, you feel like you’re in London. I’m glad I was able to experience it all. Where are we going now?

Now we’re going to go to a long-established jazz club called Ronnie Scott’s. Ronnie Scott’s, a long-established jazz club representing London, was founded in 1959 in the Soho district. It was founded by British saxophonists Ronnie Scott and Pete King, who were inspired by postwar New York jazz.

This is a famous jazz club where notable artists have performed from the early days of its founding to the present. Good morning. Today is our last day in London. We’re going to the British Museum now. I’m looking forward to seeing all the historical artifacts at the British Museum.

Unfortunately, today is our last day in London, but we had a great time in this wonderful city and would love to come back. Let’s go to the British Museum! Let’s go! One of London’s most popular tourist attractions, the British Museum is the world’s oldest national museum, founded in 1753.

The number of items in its collection is a impressive 8 million. The museum’s collection includes not only works of art that can be found in textbooks, but also archaeological artifacts, specimens, and migration materials. The Rosetta Stone was discovered during Napoleon’s Egyptian expedition in 1799.

It is said to be the most important discovery in the history of ancient Egyptology. The inscriptions are in three types of script: hieroglyphic, demotic, and Greek. The Rosetta Stone is a stone monument that made it possible to decipher the hieroglyphics.

We were able to reunite with Ramses II, who is said to be the greatest king of Egypt, since we visited Luxor, Egypt. Ramses II’s back was covered with hieroglyphs. Sculptures from the Parthenon in Athens. This exhibition room displays an array of sculptures that were used on the pediment of the Parthenon in Greece.

It was brought to England by the British diplomat Earl Elgin in the early 19th century. By the way, Greece has repeatedly requested the return of the marbles for many years, and the movement has become particularly active in recent years.

Finally, there are rumors that the Greek government and the British Museum are negotiating for its return. What will happen to them? The rows of sculptures are so impressive that they look like they are about to start moving at any moment.

The Erechtheion temple stands next to the Parthenon on the Acropolis hill, which we previously saw in Athens, Greece. I previously mentioned that one of the six female pillars supporting the Erechtheion temple is on display at the British Museum. We previously saw five statues of the goddess

When we visited the New Acropolis Museum in Athens in Greece, but we were finally able to see the remaining one here at the Great Museum in London. In this exhibition room, three turquoise mosaics are displayed side by side, symbolizing the Aztec art that flourished in central Mexico in the 15th and 16th centuries.

Turquoise is placed on it with precision workmanship. Speaking of mummies, the ones belonging to the Egyptian pharaohs are famous, but Ginger, whose nickname name comes from the red color of his hair, is said to be from around 3400 BC. This mummy is different from the original artificially made mummy wrapped in bandages,

And seems to have naturally mummified in the place where it was buried. When I was a child, I have bitter memories of seeing ginger in this exhibition room and getting scared and running away. The Book of the Dead is a papyrus that was buried with the dead to pray for their souls.

It depicts a guidepost for what happens after death. We went to see the British Museum. It was an amazing collection. The collection is huge, so if you narrow down what you want to see in advance, you can make the most of your time and energy.

Before I started traveling, I would have looked at a few of the most eye-catching pieces and move-on, but especially in the last few years, as I’ve started traveling more and more, I’ve come to appreciate these collections even more. How was it David?

It was a wonderful collection of artifacts from all over the world. I am grateful that I was able to see these collections after traveling and visiting the sites first. This is the first time I’ve been to a museum that has so many things from all over the world. The British Museum is amazing.

This is a must-visit museum when you come to London. There’s still time before our Eurostar departs, so let’s go to Borough Market. let’s go! I’m hungry. We are now crossing London Bridge. I hope it doesn’t fall down like the lyrics say. This is Borough Market, known as Londoners’ kitchen.

Borough Market is the oldest in London, with a history of over 1000 years. This is a paella restaurant attached to a fish market. This restaurant uses plenty of mushrooms, and the mushroom risotto cooked in a large pot is fun just to watch. Looks delicious! It smells really nice.

We just came to Borough Market, and even though it is 2 o’clock in the afternoon, there are a huge number of people there. There was a particularly long line for paella at the fish market, with over 100 people waiting in line.

We were able to buy mushroom risotto, so we’re going to try it now. Bon Appétit! The flavor of mushrooms is rich. It’s just a little salty. You can enjoy the taste of various types of mushrooms. Did he mention 10 types of mushrooms? It’s delicious, but a little salty.

Wouldn’t it be more delicious if it had green onions in it? It sure could be good. We’re at a falafel shop in front of Borough Market. Bon Appétit! It’s so delicious! It’s full of flavor and very delicious. Now we hurried out of Borough Market, returned to the hotel,

And arrived at St Pancras station. We’re going to take the Eurostar to Paris. How was London David? It was a lot of fun. The weather was nice, the food was delicious, and the people were kind. I had a good time and would like to come back again.

It was especially convenient to take public transportation, because we could go anywhere with just a touch on our phones. As David said, we were lucky with the weather. I looked at the weather forecast before going and it was predicted to rain all the time. I was worried it’s not good travel weather.

We really want to come back to London again soon. Thank you everyone for watching this far. If you enjoyed this video, please give it a thumbs up and subscribe to the channel. please! Now we are off to Paris! Let’s go! See you again in Paris!

  1. The architecture of the Borough market is beautiful. It’s an upscale farmer’s market. I’m surprised the Indian food was mildly hot. I’ve only had Indian food that is unbearably hot. Only Korean food tops Indian food in spiciness. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

  2. Wow looks like you spared no expense on your trip ❤it. Like everything in London it's overcrowded and expensive. I see they had you no elbow room in the restaurant. Like all metropolitan cities it's understandable but I think LA trumps the handling of crowds and products and services way better than London which seems challenged by the mass hospitality. Great vlog and always love to hear the history. Thank you for always giving us great cinematography along with your travels. ❤ Your channel
