We are a couple traveling all over Japan. In this video, we will introduce the best hot spring inns in Hokkaido. Is that it? It’s here. It says “Yoroushi Onsen”. Here. We have arrived. Hello. We’re currently on a 4-night, 5-day road trip in a camper.

Today we will stay at a hot spring inn in Nakashibetsu town in eastern Hokkaido. On other days, we will stay in a camper, but today we will stay at a hot spring inn. The name of today’s inn is “Yuyado Daiichi” in Yoroushi Onsen.

This is an inn that I was interested in because it was recommended by many viewers. There are no other hot springs nearby. Only “Yuyado Daiichi” stands quietly in an unexplored area. I’ve always wanted to come here so I’m looking forward to it. There are some buildings.

There is a main building, new building, and annex. It seems that the building was gradually expanded. It’s wide. Amazing. It’s nestled in the mountains. Looking forward to. Wow, so beautiful. Beautiful entrance. Amazing. It’s so beautiful. There are birds on the other side of the window. Awesome, cute. What is this? Birds are flying.

Ah, that’s how they hang the bait. This is a lounge. I can see many birds outside the window. Wild birds are coming to play. Interesting. It looks like the nest box and food are hanging out. There’s a nest box over there too. Nuthatch, titmouse. A lot of bird, amazing.

This is an inn where you can see fish owls. Perhaps. If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to meet. Dinner is a course meal, and you can choose your favorite main dish. We can choose from the following: Milky pork skewers from Nakashibetsu. Skewered rainbow trout from Shari. Yuan grilled autumn salmon from Shibetsu.

Everything looks delicious. We can also choose from 3 types of rice. Wow, there are so many different patterns. Cute. There are also insect-patterned yukatas. LOL It’s novel. This inn has various types of rooms. We booked a room in the main building with a loft. It is rare for a hot spring inn to have a guest room with a loft. Japanese style room with loft. The first floor is a Japanese-style room. Surprisingly, there is a spiral staircase inside the room.

The inn also has Western-style rooms. There are so many types. There are also mountain sides, river sides, etc. It was difficult to choose. This room is on the mountain side. Let’s try climbing the stairs. Interesting that there are stairs in the room. The loft seems to be the bedroom.

The loft is larger than I expected. That’s an interesting build. Look. Oh, that’s unexpected. It’s very spacious. There’s even a TV. There’s even a cooler. Very interesting. The ceiling is a little low, but it feels like a secret base. But there’s also a skylight.

It’s a loft, but it’s spacious and has a hallway. There’s a lot of space. There’s a big window. It seems like there are 2 rooms, which is interesting. Unusual type of room. Amenity goods are in the closet. Look at the yukata provided in the room. Cute owl pattern. LOL This is cute too.

Fish owls are more likely to visit at night. Will we be able to see it? We immediately changed into yukata. Good. LOL Yukata to choose from. I chose a floral pattern. Good. He does the same thing. LOL Kenji is wearing the yukata that was in the guest room.

It is a yukata with owl pattern. Is not it cute? This is a cute owl with bright eyes. LOL There are two types of owls. They are brown and beige owls. LOL As expected, it is called Owl’s Inn. This inn’s original yukata is cute. Check in at 3pm.

There’s plenty of time since dinner starts at 6pm. So I would like to go to a hot spring and take a walk inside the inn. All-you-can-drink drinks are available at several locations within the inn. Drink types vary depending on the location. Look. Owl figurine. Big owl. Isn’t this fat? Fat. LOL Chubby.

Oh, there’s a map there. I’ve just come down to the 1st floor where the front desk is. This back building is an annex. The 2nd floor of the main building is connected to the audio room. Drinks are also served here. This is the new building. Very spacious.

This is a building that has been repeatedly expanded. For now, let’s go to the lobby. The lobby is spacious. It’s a very spacious space. A large hearth, windows with an open feel, and birds. Behind it is a restaurant called “Seseragi”. Dinner and breakfast venue is here.

Will I be able to see the long-tailed tit too? Oh, there’s a nest box here too. Wow, that’s true! There’s a little bird. Where is the hot spring? It’s at the very back of the ground floor. It is connected to the lobby. Apparently there is also a mixed bath.

Women can rent bathing suits for free. I’ll try going in later. It seems to be a one-piece bathing suit. It’s so spacious that you might get lost. It’s a really long hallway. LOL Finally we arrived at the hot spring. I’ll go see it. I rented bath clothes. Contains an embroidered owl pattern.

All owls. I’ll wear this and go to the open-air bath later. The entrance is here. The entrance is also very wide. There is an annex on the opposite side of the front desk. Apparently there’s all-you-can-drink milk here. Soft Katsugen. Yay! Soft Katsugen is also all-you-can-drink. (Lactic acid bacteria drink sold only in Hokkaido)

All-you-can-drink Nakashibetsu milk is also available. There is an annex in the back. Our room is there. This hallway on the 2nd floor connects to the new building. It seems that there are also drinks in the audio room ahead. It’s big, there’s a lot of room. Some rooms even have open-air baths.

It looks like this is the new building. Our room is on the 2nd floor of the main building. How spacious! All you can drink here too. Look out the window. We can look outside while sitting on the sofa. While listening to music. It’s very spacious and worth walking around.

It’s fun because it’s spacious. I want to go back to my room and go to the public bath. We went to the public bath. It felt good. We went to the mixed open-air bath. There was no one else there, so I took it easy. A river was flowing in front of me.

The river isn’t that big, but it’s very close. There is a mixed open-air bath right next to the river. There was an open-air bath parallel to the river. The source is a natural source, 300 liters per minute. The source temperature is 72℃~95℃ It was quite hot.

Water gushes out from 7 hot springs and fills the bathrooms and open-air baths. There is plenty of hot spring water. It is a colorless, transparent, tasteless and odorless hot spring. It is a sodium, calcium, chloride and sulfate spring. The hot water was really easy to soak in and had no bad taste.

The public bath was also very clean. The bathtub was made of cypress and it smelled really good. There were also Finnish saunas. There was also a hot spring sauna outside. It would be nice to see Blakiston’s Fish Owl too. I understand why it’s so popular here. Hot springs are really nice.

The phone suddenly rings. LOL It was a call from the hotel staff. Apparently they will upgrade the guest rooms. LOL I received a call asking me to move to a room with an open-air bath. I had asked for permission to take a video in advance, but this was an unexpected suggestion.

This room is nice enough, but I’ll try moving it. LOL I thought it was a call announcing a fish owl. (You will receive a call when Blakiston’s fish owl appears) Now let’s move to another room. We unexpectedly had to move rooms.

At the suggestion of the hotel staff, we moved to a room with an open-air bath. I would like to introduce this room as well. What do you think the name of this room is? Surprisingly, It’s a room called “Owl” 220 It’s close to the room from before. I got it upgraded. Welcome.

We will fully introduce it to you. LOL It is worth introducing. We always obtain permission before filming a hotel. Partly because of that, the landlady suggested we upgrade. LOL Being able to experience two rooms is valuable. LOL I feel sorry for having to use two rooms. But I will also introduce this room.

It’s a Japanese room. First of all, it’s very spacious. This room alone is spacious enough. There is also a living room with a sunken kotatsu. Amazing. Gorgeous. The capacity of this room is 6 people. Moreover, there is a very large window here, so we can see outside.

The river is flowing and the view is wonderful. It is even lit up. Both the previous room and this room are in the main building. Moreover, there is a hidden window here. This is where the name of the room “Owl” comes from. We can see the outside from here.

That’s where the birds feed. If the fish owl comes, we can see it from here. The lobby is just downstairs. On the other side is a restaurant called Seseragi. There is also a feeding ground for Blakiston’s Fish Owl there. Well, it might come soon.

I think if the owl comes, you can see it from here. Amazing, such a hidden door. LOL Spacious, and high ceilings. There is also a loft room. I haven’t seen the loft yet. Extremely luxurious room. And most of all, it’s the bath. Wow amazing. This is the open-air bath. It’s cold. LOL

It feels like this. Wow! beautiful. So beautiful. The window is half open over there. Only the top is open. This is a window. Private open-air bath. I can see outside too. So amazing. And above this is the loft room. It hasn’t gone up yet though. There’s even a room above this.

Amazing, there are so many rooms with lofts. That’s interesting. Basically, the loft seems to be a bedroom. You don’t have to clean up your room to put on your futon. LOL Of course, you can also sleep in the Japanese-style room downstairs. Wow, interesting.

It is also designed for people who have difficulty climbing stairs. Wow! There are beds. Like this. The ceiling is a little low here. The ceiling is high here. There are 2 beds. From here we can see the window of the room. Amazing. It’s like a villa. LOL Wide. Isn’t it too wide? LOL

It’s more than enough for two people. We ended up sitting in a corner of the room. LOL We appreciate the kindness of the staff at this inn. Well, let’s go to dinner. Arrived at the dinner venue. The food has arrived, but not all of it. This is cod milt from Shibetsu.

North Sea shrimp. Looks delicious. This is a scallop from Notsuke. All ingredients are locally sourced. This is salmon roe. It’s salmon roe, right? It’s so big, it looks delicious. It’s Hanasaki crab’s gun soup, but it hasn’t been cooked yet. I’ll enjoy having this. Itadakimasu. Cheers.

Since it’s night, an owl might come while we’re eating. It’s past 6pm now and they might come around 6:30pm. Wow, it looks delicious, where should I start eating it? I will try eating scallops. Wow, huge! Last summer we went to Notsuke Peninsula. At that time, I didn’t eat scallops. It’s delicious and elastic.

There are many delicious foods in eastern Hokkaido. Although this place is in the mountains, the sea is also nearby. Hokkaido is full of delicious food. Wow, it’s almost overflowing. I just ate it and it’s amazing. What? Amazing. Let’s try. It’s overflowing. It is called “Barako” instead of “Ikura”. (Both mean salmon roe.)

Moreover, the staff made rice balls for us as a midnight snack. We can eat it in our guest room. Eat it as a midnight snack when you’re hungry. It’s already before 7pm. No owl has appeared yet. Will he come tonight? It might not come. Thank you for the meal. Very satisfied.

It’s now 7:10pm. It seems like the owl hasn’t arrived yet. I think I’ll wait in the lobby for a while. I hope I can meet an owl. I’ll have a rice ball. The dinner was so delicious. They even prepared rice balls. It’s now 9pm. Surprisingly, Blakiston’s fish owl hasn’t arrived yet.

I’m waiting but it never comes. They sometimes come early in the morning. There was a calendar in the lobby that marked the time the owl appeared. It seems that owls sometimes come in the middle of the night or at 4am.

It’s a very nice inn, so as long as you can see the owl, it’ll be perfect. I want to see an owl. The fox has arrived. When I was waiting for the owl, a different animal came. It’s a big red fox. The lights in the restaurant are turned off. It’s a fox.

I thought I saw an animal, but it turned out to be a red fox, not an owl. What is he doing? Apparently there is a fish tank containing food for owls. Looks like there’s fish in it. Did the fox come to steal it? It’s a thief fox. The fox has fluffy winter fur.

Can I see it tomorrow morning? I need to get up early. What time shall I wake up? Good night. Oh my god… LOL It’s a wild dog! Wild dog… It’s an incredible sight. A stray dog… Interesting. Unexpected animals appear. Something has arrived! The second dog. What is that? It’s a dog, right?

Wolf-like dog. Dog again. 3:30am, second dog. LOL It kind of looks like a wolf. Same road. LOL They are buddies. That dog is walking in the same place as the previous dog. There are many animals that are not owls, such as deer and dogs. Interesting. Isn’t that an owl? That’s a fish owl.

It clearly says that a cream layer will form. The first time I saw milk like that. It’s really delicious. Strong taste? It’s amazingly creamy. Wow. Isn’t it amazing? Looks like fresh cream. It’s like cream. Delicious. I think this is cream, not milk. Good.

Large public bath. (*If you request at the front desk, you can take a photo after checking out) This is a large public bath for men. Wow nice smell. Hiba scent. The public bath is also large. Open-air bath. This is a large mixed bath along the river.

The men’s side is connected to a regular open-air bath. There’s a bathtub here too. I didn’t realize this. LOL I did not know that. LOL I didn’t come here yesterday. LOL Oh, it’s warm. It was dark at night and I didn’t realize there was a bathtub here. It’s really good here.

I missed getting in. LOL This is the bathtub that Kenji missed. I couldn’t believe I was able to get down so close to the river. This bath is the closest to the river. Yes, I missed getting in here. LOL I knew there was this chair by the river.

You can’t see that bathtub unless you actually go down. You can also enter the river. Oh, it’s cold! Wow! I’m freezing. Above this is the hot spring sauna. You can take a bath in the outdoor air here. So good. If you like saunas, it’s like heaven. There is a log bath here.

I had no idea there was a hot spring below here. It’s very spacious. I didn’t notice the bathtub below this, but I felt it was spacious enough. I’ll have to stay at this inn again and take a bath in that bathtub. Let’s also take a look at the large public bath for women.

This is an open-air bath. My feet are cold. LOL Behind this is the mixed bathing bath. Pass through this passage. (Staff) It looks the most beautiful from here. The women’s sauna has been renovated and is very spacious. Hot spring Löyly sauna. You can enjoy a Löyly with hot spring water.

It was really good. This is not flattery, but an honest opinion. Above all, I was glad to meet Blakiston’s Fish Owl. It was really good. I woke up at 3 o’clock this morning. I only slept for 3 hours. LOL And I kept looking for owls from the window. The deer appeared first.

Three minutes after I woke up, I saw deer running in the river. LOL It was a very precious scene. Then for some reason a dog also appeared. But there was no sign of the owl coming. It was just before 5 o’clock and I was about to give up.

I thought that I might not come today. Before giving up, we decided to go down to the lobby. Immediately after that, an owl came in front of us. Akari found an owl perched on a tree. When I sat on the chair, I was surprised to see an owl right in front of me.

It flew close so I could see it eating food. It was good. In the morning, the long-tailed moth also came and we saw many animals. As expected of Eastern Hokkaido. I saw a lot of wild animals. Of course the hot springs were really good too.

Anyone can take photos of the public bath if requested in advance. That mixed open-air bath also had a really nice view. I think it’s easy for women to use as bathing suits can be borrowed for free. The hot springs were really nice too. The food was also very delicious.

Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Above all, the hospitality is wonderful. The staff were all so kind. Everyone stopped and said hello. It was an impressive customer service. It was an inn full of hospitality. I really want to go stay the night again. I definitely wanted to go again.

I can see why so many people recommend this inn. Yuyado Daiichi has a lot of amazing rooms. When making a reservation, you may be confused about which room to choose. If you want to see wild animals and feel nature, we recommend a room facing the river.
