【ヒルトン名古屋】名古屋めしを堪能する宿泊 | Nagoya Stay

Hello. I would like to introduce Hilton Nagoya. Staying to enjoy Nagoya food. Please watch the video until the end. Hello, everyone. This is Mouton from Cozier Style. I’m driving from Tokyo to Nagoya right now. The clear blue sky, it’s so nice. Here we are at the Hilton Nagoya. Hilton Nagoya opened in 1989.

It will celebrate its 35th anniversary this year in 2024. Inside is a lobby with a cafe and restaurant. There are some exhibits that make us feel winter. It is lovely. Let’s check in. Check-in has been completed. Let’s go to our room.

In the elevator, hold up the card key and press the button for the floor you want to go to. We have arrived at the 21st floor, where we will be staying. Open with a card key. Inside is a modern room with a Japanese feel.

There is a shoji screen in front of the window. Since the room is on the 21st floor, we can clearly see the buildings of Nagoya city below. Let’s take a tour of the room. There is one king size bed.

On the bedside there is a light switch for the room lights and a reading light. There’s also a tissue, a memo pad, and a telephone underneath. There is also a universal outlet and USB-typeA so you can charge your phone while you sleep. The drawer on the other side is empty.

Across from the bed is a TV. The angle can be changed so I can watch it from anywhere in the room. There is also a DVD player below. Let’s take a look at the minibar. There is service water, Nespresso, an ice pail, and a kettle. Inside the shelves, there is a refrigerator.

The refrigerator is empty. In the drawer there are tea bags, English Breakfast, lemon herbal tea, and Japanese green tea. In the middle drawer are glasses and cups. In the bottom drawer are paper towels. Take a look at the closet near the entrance. Inside are bathrobes and hangers.

There are a lot of hangers. The bathrobe is a little stiff toweling fabric. There is also a security box and an ironing set. The slippers are thin and simple type. There is a Yukata (Japanese bathrobe) in this shelf. Put this on at night and go to sleep. The other shelf was empty.

Next to the entrance door is a bathroom. There is one washbasin and a toilet with a bidet. On the washbasin are towels, amenities, and tissues. Amenities include a toothbrush, comb, cotton set, and shaver. The body lotion and hand wash are CRABTREE. The hair dryer is Panasonic. Behind the washbasin is a bathtub.

The partition next to the bathtub can be angled. There are two types of showers: a rain shower and a hand shower. There’s also a faucet to store hot water in the bathtub. Shampoo and body soap are also CRABTREE. We came back to the living room.

Next to the daybed by the window is a work chair on wheels. On the shelf behind the desk is a phone and power outlet. There are universal outlets and LAN ports. This desk looks like it doubles as a work desk and dining table. Take a look at the table top.

If I read this QR with my phone, I can see the room service menu. Wi-fi is 14Mbps, which is a little disappointing. That’s it for the room tour. For a quick workout, head to the hotel’s fitness center. We have arrived.

At the reception desk, we were given instructions on how to use the fitness center. From the map we were given, it looks very spacious. I came to the locker room. We can use any available space. There is also a little rest area. I changed my clothes and came to the fitness gym.

It is a spacious gym with plenty of machines. There are towels inside the gym. There is also a cold water machine, which is nice to have when I feel thirsty. There are also machines in the back. There is also a schedule of group classes,

Which seem to be held in this space with mirrors. Let’s start exercising. Set the target number of times on the touch panel attached to the machine. The machine counts the number of times as I exercise, which is very convenient. It is now nighttime and completely dark.

Since we have come all the way to Nagoya and we are hungry, let’s go eat Nagoya’s food. Here we are. This is Okafuji, an eel restaurant on the first floor of the Misonoza Tower. The interior of the restaurant is Japanese style and there are private rooms. I was guided to this teable.

Let’s take a look at the menu. There are many eel dishes and dishes that go well with sake. There is a wide variety of sake, especially local sake. While waiting for our dishes, let’s have some cucumbers as a side dish. The aroma of sesame oil and saltiness is delicious.

We ordered grilled eel liver. It tastes like sweet and spicy kabayaki. It has both soft and crunchy texture and goes well with sake. They brought us the main dish, Hitsumabushi. The eel is beautifully laid out. Let’s eat it according to the way to eat Hitsumabushi written on this paper.

Pour it into a bowl with a rice scoop. First, eat it as it is. The eel is fluffy and delicious. For the second bowl, add wasabi and green onion, and sprinkle sansho (Japanese pepper) in this cylinder.

The spicy wasabi and sansho soften the oily taste of the eel and stimulate our appetite even more. Finally, the eel is served with dashi (Japanese soup stock) as if it were Ochazuke. It is rare to eat eel like Ochazuke, so it is a luxurious experience.

I was very satisfied to enjoy Nagoya’s specialty, Hitsumabushi. Thank you very much for the meal. We returned to the hotel. There is still some time left in the evening, so we go to the bar in the hotel lobby. Hideaway 3-3. It is located at the end of this white hallway.

A modern bar with tables and a counter. We sit at the counter. Let’s take a look at the menu. There are many kinds of cocktails and alcohol. The snacks also look delicious. We ordered two signature rum cocktails. Cheers. This is Take5.

The floral aroma of Earl Grey and the sweetness of the rum wafted through my nose. The bar was crowded and a bit busy, but I was able to enjoy a delicious drink. Now let’s go back to the room and get ready for bed. The water pressure in the shower is a little weak.

The yukata is a simple design for both men and women. Checking the bed before going to sleep. There are two types of pillows, hard and soft. Mattress is normal. Well then, good night, everyone. Good morning. It’s a pleasant morning with a sunny blue sky. Let’s go for the buffet breakfast.

We have come to IN PLACE, an all-day dining restaurant on the same floor as the lobby. It is a restaurant with high ceilings and a sense of openness. There are many seats. We will eat at this table. Let’s go get our dishes. There are a choice of cold beverages from milk and juice.

There are two coffee machines. There are also many Ronnefeldt tea bags and you can choose your favorite tea. There is a wide variety of dishes, including salads, ham, cheese, Western food, bread, Japanese food, Chinese food, and egg dishes.

There are also Nagoya specialties such as miso katsu (pork cutlet with miso paste) and sweet bean-jam toast, which is very exciting. There are also colorful popsicles, which are lovely. I got some food. This is a freshly made omelette. Fluffy and delicious. For Japanese food, we chose grilled fish, homemade tofu, and miso cutlet.

The miso in the miso cutlet is sweet and typical of Nagoya, which I like. The meat is hard and quite chewy. I got dessert. There are fruit, Ogura toast, and Ogura-an waffle. The Ogura toast is small, but the combination of red bean paste and butter is sweet and rich.

It goes well with coffee. I was very satisfied with the Nagoya cuisine. Thank you very much. Now that we are full, let’s get some light exercise before checking out. We will swim at the fitness center where we came yesterday. I borrowed a towel at the reception.

I will swim at the swimming area next to the tennis court. It is a compact space with two lanes. Visitors can also relax on the benches next to the area. There are floats and beat boards, so you can play with your children.

There are towels next to the pool, so don’t worry if we get soaked. After swimming in the pool, take a bath to warm up. There is a dry sauna and a water bath to condition myself. I feel refreshed. There are basic cosmetics and a hair dryer in the changing room.

There is also a cold water machine so you can sweat as much as you want in the sauna. It was a good workout. The stay was filled with delicious Nagoya food and exercise. So let’s check out. How was it? Cozier Style brings you a cozy time.
