Today, I’m thinking of going to a store I’ve always wanted to go to! Pontocho is a bit of a hurdle for me as a single person (bitter smile). Hanamachi may have an adult atmosphere, but there are surprisingly many young people here!

I don’t feel out of place at all considering my age, so I’d like to muster up the courage to go out for lunch! Exaggerating (lol). We arrived! [INAYOSHI] is located next to Pontocho Park. The first floor has a bright and modern Japanese feel. It’s a very nice space.

[Gion Shirakawa] is located right next to [Gion Shopping Street]. Gray herons are often seen in Kyoto. It’s still frozen today. Tatsumi Bridge over Shirakawa. It is a popular photo spot when the cherry blossoms bloom! The cherry blossoms will be in full bloom in less than a month.

Kyoto has many cherry blossom trees, so the whole city is dyed pink during the cherry blossom season. I can’t wait 🌸. On the way, I found a very cute Hina doll. If you walk along the Shirakawa River, you will arrive at [Ipponbashi].

[Ipponbashi] is approximately 11.7 meters long and 60 centimeters wide. I’m quite nervous (lol). The wind is strong today so I’m excited! There was no one crossing the road around noon on a weekday, but it was a commuter route to school during the morning rush hour!
