Good morning from Naples A pastry shop I found near my hotel There is always a line, so I wanted to come This pastry shop is popular for Sfogliatella, a Neapolitan specialty Freshly baked, crispy dough with melting cream inside Happy morning! Naples Centrale I’m going to take a day trip to Pompeii today

Train is coming Oh, graffiti The fare from Naples to Pompeii is 3.3 euros (approximately 540 yen) one way. It takes about 30 minutes by train, so it’s perfect for a day trip. Skyscrapers and, in the foreground, a vehicle that has also been garishly graffitied. Arrived That is the ticket office

I came first in the morning and didn’t have to wait too long to buy it! I wanted to visit the “Villa of Secrets,” so I bought a ticket for 22 euros. Anyway, the vast ruins of Pompeii. It is exciting! Now, let’s start the tour!

If you enter through the entrance near the Scavi Villa Dei Misteri station The first thing you see is a here There are a few murals left. Visit Basilica The 1500 m2 basilica was used for trials and commercial transactions! Construction dates from 130-20 B.C. It’s very imaginative. Foro di Pompei

Various buildings were lined up facing the square. Former market place for selling fish and meat. Forum Baths Editing from memory… It was built in 80 B.C. Men’s and women’s sections had separate entrances. Thermopolium A number of cafeterias that served hot food have been found in Pompeii

The people who used the cafeteria were low status citizens who did not have kitchens at home. Currently, the remains of 89 diners have been excavated! HOUSE OF THE TRAGIC POET CAVE CANEM (beware of dogs)” mosaic on the floor. Protected by glass Found another cafeteria This is an oven for baking bread.

You can imagine the life of people in Pompeii at that time. Now, here’s the area where Pompeii+ tickets are required It would take me a long time to get around the Express area alone, I’ve come from Tokyo to Pompeii, so let’s go there! quiet

This villa is one of the earliest to be excavated in Pompeii. There is a garden and a pool VILLA OF THE MYSTERIES The name of the villa of the misteries comes from the discovery of a mural painting of a faith that was popular in southern Italy at the time.

It depicts a scene from a secret ritual that only believers are allowed to participate in! You can still see the beautiful frescoes on the walls of this room. Bright red ground called “Pompeii Red.” We are back in the EXPRESS area again! HOUSE OF THE DIOSCURI

One of the most sumptuous and vast buildings built in the late Pompeii period The atrium is surrounded by columns, and rooms for visitors are built around it. The walls would have been covered with colorful murals. The main paintings are on display at the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, according to the museum.

Casa di Meleagro Pompeii ruins are bigger than I imagined The tour is based on maps and materials. I think this is the HOUSE OF THE VETTII This mansion was owned by the Vettius brothers, the richest men in Pompeii. Although they were slaves, they made a fortune through trade.

The good things about starting YouTube is Even after the trip is over, I can review it while watching the video I shot. But I need to prepare studing more before traveling A scene where angels are working on jewelry and manufacturing perfumes. It depicts the lives of people at that time

I feel a strange feeling as if I have traveled back in time. an elegant house HOUSE OF THE FAUN I wanted to see you This photo was taken at the National Archaeological Museum of Naples. The House of Faunus is also one of the largest in Pompeii The area is approximately 3000 square meters

This is a popular mosaic Depicts the decisive battle between Alexander the Great and Persian King Darius The original is in the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, but unfortunately it is currently undergoing restoration. The people of Pompeii suffered in agony from the heat of the pyroclastic flow…

Many pots for storing food and drinks have also been discovered. Terme Stabiane Pompeii was buried underground by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD How scary and painful the people must have been… Teatro Grande Fullonica di Stephanus This seems to have been a workshop for washing clothes and removing oil from threads.

HOUSE OF PAQUIUS PROCULUS It is famous for its mosaic of a chained dog. HOUSE AND THERMOPOLIUM OF VETUTIUS PLACIDUS A stone counter? This is the bar It is said that nearly 3 kg of coins were found in one of the jars on the counter. HOUSE OF THE ORCHARD OR OF THE FLORAL CUBICLES

A mansion with some of the most beautiful garden paintings in Pompeii A building converted from a residential building for agricultural purposes It is said that beans, onions, cabbage, and fruit trees were grown in the garden. Wear comfortable shoes when walking around the ruins! Casa di Ottavio Quartione There are frescoes on the walls

An orchard was built in the garden behind the building. Casa della Venere in Conchiglia Well-preserved frescoes Two angels are cuddling Venus bird drinking water from fountain The tour of the ruins is finally nearing its end. What you can see in front of you is an amphitheater. Where is the entrance?

Check out the sports stadium next to the amphitheater. It’s a huge space An exhibition was being held The black object at the top is carbonized bread! There was a bakery in town. The Archaeological Museum in Naples displays many items excavated from Pompeii. We would like to visit both the ruins and the museum!

Well then, let’s end it now. Return from this entrance There are two stations closest to Pompeii ruins. On the way back, I will return to Naples from this Pompeii station. beautiful view Thank you for watching!
