【車中泊生活】犬２匹と車暮らし。氷点下の中160万円の家で寒さを凌ぐ１日。

Good evening, everyone. We’re living in a DIY camper, a 1.6 million yen home, traveling with our beloved Chibisuke and the rescue dog, Bota. We hope you enjoy our unique lifestyle with us.

On this day, we’re camping in our car at a free parking lot with a panoramic view of the Seto Inland Sea in Akashi City, Okayama Prefecture.

With a severe cold wave hitting, the outside temperature is minus 3 degrees Celsius. No one is crazy enough to be here, so it’s a solo car camp for us. It’s so cold, so cold. Here you go, Chibi-chan. The wind is getting stronger, isn’t it? “Not ‘U’,” huh? Not “U”!

Make sure it’s absolutely beautiful tomorrow morning. Okay! This location is amazing. The weather is great too. Looking forward to sleeping! Excited to sleep and wake up! It was cold. Not going outside anymore. Chibi: “What about the toilet?” Only the toilet. Chibi: “What about the toilet??” Chibi: “What about the toilet!?!?!”

Chibi: “What about our walk!?!?!” We’ll go properly. Chibi: “Really!?” Really. It’ll be trouble if we don’t. Chibi: “Will you dress us too??” Yes. Time to put on clothes. Amazing, Chibi’s jealousy and Bota’s affection.

Even though we’re together every day, it’s heartwarming how they greet us as if it’s been a year since we last met… I’ll make dinner, so please settle down a bit. You’re cute, Bota. Chibi seems upset. I love Chibi too. I love Bota too, but I also love Chibi.

Anyway, it’s too cold, so let’s start preparing dinner. Tonight, we’ll make a hearty hot pot to warm ourselves up. Bota: (I love it here; it’s so warm.) All our kitchen tools are neatly packed in one bag. With everything we need, we can cook just like at home.

We usually dispose of trash when we visit a campsite. We keep kitchen waste in odor-proof bags until then. Bota: (Those potatoes look delicious…) Since it’s an authentic hot pot, we’re even trimming the daikon radish. By the way, the trimmed daikon was sampled by the owner. Haha.

To reduce the bitterness of the daikon, we’re blanching it with rice washing water or a bit of rice. Using online tips to make delicious daikon for our hot pot! When using the stove, we open the windows for ventilation. Adjusting the window openings while using a carbon monoxide checker.

As a bonus, we’ll blanch the konjac too. Bota: (Feeling sleepy…) Having running water really expanded our cooking possibilities. By the way, the owner sneakily tasted the rice we boiled with it. Haha. How about you all? What’s your favorite ingredient in oden? We, as a couple, love potatoes the most!

Bota: (The sound of this water is so soothing.) As soon as we light the stove, the inside of the car warms up quickly, which is delightful…

For seasoning, we use dashi powder, dark soy sauce, salt, and mirin. Ideally, light soy sauce would be better, but unfortunately, we can’t keep that many condiments on hand. One final simmer! Here we go! Chibi: (Some good smells are wafting in…) Chibi: (But sleepiness wins…) Looks delicious.

For moments like this, we live… (Maybe too dramatic.) Here you go. Thank you. Sorry for the wait. An incredibly delicious aroma is filling the car. Shall we start with a cheers? Cheers to the night in the Seto Inland Sea. Tastes great. The oden looks amazingly delicious. Which one should I try? Looks delicious!

Maybe heat it up a bit. The smell is incredible. The daikon is amazing. I did the prep work. It’s soaking in so well. Hm, couldn’t fit the hanpen (fish cake). So, once we finish this round, we’ll add the hanpen. Let’s go! Here we go. Looks delicious. Great. Can I take one? Sure.

I could watch this forever. Really. So, will you watch it forever? Me eating. Open my mouth, drool, and all. The daikon looks delicious. Looks delicious. The beef tendons look good too. Is it delicious? Potatoes are delicious. Nice, potatoes. This daikon goes through the chopsticks effortlessly. It’s incredibly soft. Delicious.

The daikon is amazingly tasty. Eating such authentic oden inside the car is unbelievably amazing. Because we blanched it beforehand. Out of stubbornness. Thank you! Incredibly delicious. Well, it’s cold, so you crave oden. I’ve known Yuta for about 3 and a half years, but this is the first time for oden, right? Certainly!

First time for oden! I’ve eaten ready-made stuff before,but making and eating it like this is my first time. It’s like a celebration. Seto Inland Sea oden! Unusual situation. Unusual. In this piping hot oden, a super cold lemon sour. Isn’t it luxurious? Luxurious. The ginger flavor of the meatballs is incredibly delicious.

I wish we could have made meatballs, but it was impossible. Maybe it’s for the best. Chibi (..zzzZZ). Thank you. OK. Stuffed. Delicious. Thanks to that, it’s super warm. Drinking alcohol makes it warm and cozy. Super sleepy. Let’s brush our teeth and sleep. Looking forward to tomorrow morning.

On cold days like this, being able to brush our teeth inside the car is particularly appreciated. After use, we wipe it down with alcohol each time. Bota, want some tube food? Even though the lid isn’t open, you react this much. Chibi, wait a moment. Chibi: It’s based on seniority, you know.

Chibi: Slowly, slowly… After snack time, it’s teeth brushing time for Chibi and Bota. Chibi is 7 years old this year, and Bota is 11 years old, so we take extra care.

Bota’s teeth were already in bad shape when he became a part of our family three years ago… Now, we are observing the remaining teeth in consultation with the veterinarian. Putting it in on the spot is faster.

Chibi and Bota, who are accustomed to this lifestyle, when it’s time to set up the bed, they move to a position where they won’t get in the way on their own, which is quite helpful. You’re welcome. The oden was delicious today. It was delicious, thank you.

We want to create videos using Wondershare Filmora, a famous video editing software. It’s a well-known video editing software, so many of you might be familiar with it. This time, a new feature has been added, so we’ll introduce it along with our usual editing process.

We hope you enjoy the real feel of how we edit videos. First, we check each recorded data and give them names for easy editing. With as many as 300 data entries on busy days, this process is surprisingly challenging. After arranging all the data like this in order, we start the editing process.

Placing the data in the upper-left space reflects it in the Filmora editing software. We place the data in the lower half workspace and edit while creating the video. Sort out the parts to use and the parts not to use, then cut out the unnecessary parts with the red scissor button!

Similarly, add data, and it’s a repetition of the same process. One of our frequently used elements is transitions, which we use to connect videos. Let’s try placing the most commonly used transition called “Dissolve” between videos. The transition between videos becomes more natural.

By the way, without the “Dissolve,” the video becomes choppy like this. With the “Dissolve,” it looks like this. We use it depending on the scene. Transitions include not only “Dissolve” but also many other types! It’s quite interesting, so we’ll try various things in this video of Bota and Chibi.

There are slightly comedic transitions like this one. Of course, there are also stylish ones! Depending on how you use them, it can look like advanced editing. Next is the most challenging task in videos: subtitles. Adding subtitles takes a lot of time.

Filmora’s new feature is this AI text-based AI, which generates subtitles from the video. The text accuracy is amazing, check it out. Really! It’s true. It’s not gibberish transcription, right? Incredible! Isn’t it amazing? This is impressive. It’s moving. The one we’re using now doesn’t have good accuracy for subtitles… It suddenly says incomprehensible things.

Basically, we have to redo it. This is really good. The accuracy of these subtitles is truly revolutionary! Honestly, it has exceeded our imagination! Next is the introduction of a new feature that is jaw-dropping, the AI Vocal Remover. This is the original video. Surprisingly, it can separate human speech from other audio! Amazing!

I removed the speaking voice. Does it only keep the ambient sound? It seems so. Amazing. Isn’t it amazing? It’s really amazing. Indeed. Look, I’m talking, but… This can capture the audio in crowded places. Natural sounds, too, like people walking by or retakes. Amazing. That’s incredible. Isn’t this amazing? Can you believe it?

I wonder. It would be amazing if it could handle music too. Maybe there’s something for music. Let’s check it out. There’s probably a feature for music too. This is AI as well. I don’t really get it. Without knowing about these features, you’re missing out on life. I’ll try this music feature.

The vocal is gone. It’s true. Amazing. Of course, you have to be careful about copyrights, but this is quite amazing! Impressive. You can even do music. Finally, the AI thumbnail creation feature, let’s try it. This is the original thumbnail, but there are some issues. Double-click it, and… Incredible! Amazing, Ryo-chan is highlighted.

It’s shining. If you can use it well, you can create a nice thumbnail. Because it’s impossible to create thumbnails like this ourselves. It takes a lot of time. Enlarging and highlighting Ryo-chan. And it’s zoomed in on this side. Amazing. We usually keep it simple, so…

This is how we enjoy our journey while working on the PC and editing videos. Since we’re both doing different things, this time is silent. (Laughs) How’s it going? It’s progressing quite well. Looking good. Can I have a sweet? Sure. Quite some time has passed. When you’re working, time flies.

I’m currently using Filmora for video editing. I hadn’t changed my video editing software since I started YouTube. So, trying something new like this was the first time in a while. There was a part I was avoiding.

About 10 years ago, I used to install new apps, go to new places when a new shop opened, and change my phone when a new one came out… But I realized that I had become quite reluctant to try new things. I tried it, and the AI’s text-based features are remarkably improved.
