【ホテル滞在記】センチュリーマリーナ函館で北海道の恵みの食材と天然温泉を楽しむご褒美ホリデイ/vlog/hokkaido/hakodate/japan
I arrived at Hakodate Station! I had been sightseeing in Sapporo during the day, so it was already night. It’s about a 5 minute walk from Hakodate Station to reach today’s accommodation. Century Marina Hakodate is famous for its delicious breakfast! Let’s go inside right away!
As soon as you enter, a large object welcomes you. Enter through the entrance and follow the directions to reach the front desk. The lobby has a wide atrium, and the ceiling is designed to resemble the bottom of a ship.
The interior is modern and very stylish. You can also sit in a chair and relax! There was a plaque proving that he had been awarded many times. You can also use the stairs to reach the second floor. This is what the lobby looks like from the second floor!
After looking around the lobby, I headed to my room. This time we stayed in a “Premier Double” type room. It is about 20 square meters in size. It’s a wonderful room with the warm warmth of wood.
The bed is a Simmons double bed. Although it was compact, it was extremely comfortable to sleep on. There is a clock, reading light, and dimmer light button next to the bed. The room has a spacious desk and chair with a view of the city.
The TV is on the wall, and there is also an air purifier and luggage storage underneath. There is a dressing table on the right side. The large mirror is also great for checking your appearance! On the left side, there is a minibar corner.
Coffee cups and glasses are neatly arranged on the top shelf. There were two bottles of water, coffee, milk, sugar sencha, jasmine tea, chamomile & peppermint , and a refrigerator on the bottom shelf! So far we have introduced the bedroom♪ Next, let’s take a look at the water area!
The toilet is spacious and clean. The shower room is compact, but spacious enough! There is no bathtub, but there is a large public bath so no problem. The wash basin is bright, clean and easy to use! Clean hand towels and face towels are provided. There were lots of amenities in the top drawer!
There is a hair dryer in the bottom drawer. Next to the sink was a large full-length mirror. Slide this full-length mirror sideways to reveal a closet! Indoor slippers for indoor use. There were enough bags for each person to take to the public bath. In-house clothes and pajamas are neatly folded.
There is a magnet on the door for things like cleaning, and you can put it on the outside door when you go to sleep. By the way, when I checked in, I received a separate sheet with information about the hotel!
It’s exciting because it’s like a travel guide, with information about the hotel and the layout of the breakfast venue. After looking around the room, we headed out for dinner! It takes about 10 minutes to walk to “Yoyoutei”. I want to eat delicious Genghis Khan! I searched for it and found “Yoyoutei”.
You can order it individually, but we chose the course. This is an all-you-can-eat 60 minute course! I was guided to a counter seat, and when I ordered, the Genghis Khan pot started to heat up! Delicious looking meats are coming soon! Lamb is on the left, pork is on the right.
It’s an assortment of vegetables! Bean sprouts, carrots, green peppers, and onions. Salted kelp cabbage, shrimp, marinated lamb , and all-you-can-drink drinks are Katsugen exclusive to Hokkaido! It was really delicious.We grilled the meat and vegetables.We dipped it in a special sauce and had the lamb meat! The meat was thick, juicy, and absolutely delicious.
Of course, there was rice too! It is glossy and chewy and goes well with meat. I finished it right away and ordered more lamb. It was delivered right away! Next time I will have it on the rice! Lamb meat is healthy and I feel like I can eat it forever.I
Continued to add more meat for a while after this, and it was delicious till the end! Thank you for the meal~! I’m back in my room! I’m going to take a little break and go to the public bath.
I came to enjoy the hot springs ♡ It was great to warm up my cold body outside! There is also a lounge on the floor where the public bath is located, where alcohol and light snacks are sold. Now let’s introduce the lounge!
There are plenty of counter seats and sofa seats, making it a spacious space. You can enjoy alcohol and ice cream while enjoying the night view. I’m going to order something right away! Wait at your seat until your ordered item is ready. I’m looking forward to it~♪
This sofa is perfect for after a bath because I can stretch my legs out. The product you ordered has been completed! It’s a melon float! ! It’s a little overflowing, but it’s been a long time since I’ve had a melon float on my face.
My husband joined us later, and he also ordered a cola float and “hakoyaki” with squid. It’s soaked in the mildly flavored soup stock, making it the perfect dish to enjoy after taking a bath. The cola float was in great shape, and I was so excited♪
By the way, on the second night, I had a full body massage at the hotel’s spa♡ The 14th floor is a floor that will satisfy your body, mind, and stomach. Now all you have to do is sleep. I will sleep slowly while looking at the night view of Hakodate. good night.
Good morning! It was a morning when the snow that had fallen the day before had piled up beautifully. The ground is pure white and very beautiful♪ Enjoy the morning scenery of Hakodate. After getting ready, we headed to the hotel’s breakfast venue, which we were looking forward to! Wait for the elevator to come.
In order to avoid the Three Cs, the elevator didn’t come often and I sometimes had to wait for about 5 minutes. This is the breakfast venue on the second floor! I’ll go in right away. Miso soup with ohitsu rice and a choice of toppings.I chose the brown rice ohitsu!
The ohitsu contained about two small bowls of rice. This brown rice is glossy, chewy, and very delicious! There was always a line in the seafood area. There are many kinds of salmon roe, shrimp, salmon, tuna, etc. I brought my favorite seafood♪ Pickled tuna, cod roe salmon, tuna,
And a heaping amount of salmon roe! Everything is fresh, looks and tastes great. This is how you can make your own original salmon roe bowl. It was sparkling and good to look at and eat♪ There was also red vinegar at the table, so you could also eat it with vinegared rice!

I ordered an omelet with beef stew. It was fluffy and delicious ♡ Next is the bread corner! Lots of variety! There is also a toaster, so you can heat it up yourself.There are so many jams and sauces!
There was also cheese and honey, so you could put as much on it as you wanted ♪ I poured honey on the pancakes and brought two danishes ♪ It was very delicious ♡ I forgot, but there is also a full salad corner!
We also had soy milk fondue, soup curry, keema curry, and venison pot-au-feu. At this time, they were holding a Belgian fair, and there was even roasted chicken! Of course, there was also Japanese food. Ochazuke, grilled fish, skewers, dashimaki omelet, etc. ♪

Breakfast on the second day, I brought as much food as I wanted and had a very satisfying time♪ Next, let’s introduce the sweets corner! The entire table is filled with sweets! This is the hotel’s original egg tart. This was quite delicious ♪
This is the sweets I brought on the first day! Since it was Valentine’s Day, there were some cute sweets, but the sweets on the second day were of a different kind. I especially recommend the tart and pudding that I ate on both days!
Finally, there’s coffee. You can choose your favorite from 3 types of coffee! And you can take coffee back to your room! I’ll put it in a take-out cup and take it with me. Return to your room and have a relaxing coffee time. After this is the souvenir corner!
We’re back on the second floor! There is a souvenir corner right next to the breakfast venue, with a wide variety of Hokkaido specialties and hotel-specific products! By the way, when I stayed for two nights this time, I was able to pass the room cleaning just by changing the towels.
By passing the pass, I was able to receive a 1,000 yen in-house ticket and use it at this shop. If you are staying for several nights, we highly recommend this service! Also, this hotel has an aroma bar and pillow bar, so you can enjoy your favorite aroma in your room!
