ふらっと出かけた場所を紹介しようと思います。
2024年2月に高知県須崎市にある「桑田山 雪割桜」に行きました。
桑田山雪割桜公園は、標高769mの蟠蛇森の中腹にあり、山全体に咲く雪割り桜はとても美しく、シーズン中は多くのお花見客が市内外から訪れます。
雪割り桜の正式名称は「椿寒桜」といい、2月のまだ雪のあるころに咲くことから「雪割り桜」と呼ばれています。
山全体には1,000本近くの雪割り桜の木があり、満開に咲き誇った雪割り桜は圧巻です！
見頃：2月中旬～3月中旬
駐車場：50台(300円)

In February 2024, I went to “Kuwatayama Yukiwarizakura” in Susaki City, Kochi Prefecture.
Kuwatayama Yukiwarizakura Park is located halfway up the Banja Forest at an altitude of 769m.The Yukiwarizakura that blooms all over the mountain is so beautiful that many visitors from outside the city come to see the cherry blossoms during the cherry blossom season.
The official name of “Yukiwarizakura” is “Tsubakikanzakura,” and it is called “Yukiwarizakura” because it blooms in February when there is still snow.
There are nearly 1,000 snow-splitting cherry trees all over the mountain, and the snow-splitting cherry blossoms in full bloom are a sight to behold!
Best time to see: Mid-February to mid-March
Parking lot: 50 spaces (300 yen)
