【神社仏閣ひとり旅】京王線沿線(八王子→調布)人気御朱印巡り3選[御朱印500名印(No.237~239)]

This time we started from the north exit of JR Hachioji Station. Go north on Kuwanamiki Street. Turn right in front of the building where Mos Burger is located. Then, a torii gate appeared on the left. We have arrived. Koyasu Shrine was founded over 1,200 years ago in the third year of Tenpyoji (759).

It is said that it was built as a prayer for the Emperor and the Empress to give birth to a safe child. The enshrined deity is “Konohana Sakuyahime no Mikoto”. A goddess who appears in Japanese mythology. First, I stopped at the “Chozuya” on the left before the worship hall.

Before joining hands in front of the shrine, we perform ablution. “Shinsuiden” is on the right side of the worship hall. Divine water is flowing here. The ladle is received at the shrine office and offered after praying at the sacred water.

Also, on the left side of the worship hall is “Tachibana Shrine”. It is dedicated to the person who founded Koyasu Shrine. The shrine building was burnt down in the last war. The current building was rebuilt after the war. In front of the shrine, we joined hands to express our gratitude and

Pray for world peace and for fewer disasters. A dedicated ladle. Use a ladle to pray for a safe delivery. As a token of gratitude for a safe delivery, a ladle with a bottom is offered as an offering.

Well, there is a torii gate on the right side of the shrine building, and it seems that there is a shrine in the precincts in the back. “Kotohira Shrine” is written on the plaque. I’m going to move on, but before I go,

I see the “Hagagatame Ishinosho”. There seems to be Hakusan Shrine, the god of teeth, ahead. After bowing and moving forward, I saw the shrine building in front of me. “Kotohira Shrine” is the enshrined deity of “Oimono Nushi no Mikoto.”

In front of it are the “Suesha Gosha”. From the left: Daikokutensha, the god of the legs and knees. Mitake Shrine, the god of eyes. Inari Shrine, the god of livelihood and business. Hakusan Shrine, the god of teeth. Ishijinja Shrine, the god of cough medicine.

“Ashifunsha” is on the left side of Kotohira Shrine. A shrine dedicated to mizuko, which is rare among shrines. At the back of the shrine building is the “main shrine” where the god is actually enshrined. Even near the main shrine, we gently put our hands together.

Now, when you return to the front of the shrine and look to your right, you will see “Omiike”. There is a torii gate, and Itsukushima Shrine is located in the pond. This is “Itsukushima Shrine”. He is the god of entertainment and handicrafts. This is Soreisha, a place where ancestors are enshrined.

“Kaguraden”. The current building was rebuilt in 1909. Now, this is the “New Year’s red seal (Reiwa 6)” that I received on the day. The shrine’s official Instagram provides the latest goshuin information. Next, leave Koyasu Shrine and head to Jindaiji Temple. Keio Hachioji Station is a short walk away.

Next, take the train from Keio Hachioji to Shinjuku. Convenient limited express trains run about 3 times an hour during weekdays. When you exit from the central exit of Chofu Station, the bus terminal is right in front of you.

For Mitaka Station or Kichijoji Station. There are also buses that go directly to Jindaiji bus stop. For trains bound for Mitaka Station and Kichijoji Station, get off at Jindaiji Elementary School. Return to the direction where the bus came from and turn right at the first traffic light.

On the way, I saw “Fudodo” on the right, so I stopped by. “Fudodo” enshrines “Fudo Myoo”. As you go further, you will see the Sanmon Gate on your right. There is a ridge plate from 1695 on the “Sanmon” gate! It is said to be the oldest building in Jindaiji Temple.

Once you bow in front of the Sanmon gate, you will see the main hall in front of you. Before joining hands in the main hall, go to the “Chozuya” on the left. Before worshiping at the main hall, cleanse your hands with water.

There is also a “Toko incense burner” in front of the main hall. We collected the offering money and shared the incense sticks. The incense sticks are dropped from the top of the net in the “Toko incense burner”.

The main hall was burnt down at the end of the Edo period. The current building was rebuilt in 1919. The principal image is the “Corn Amida Nyorai Statue”. In front of the main hall, we expressed our gratitude and joined hands.

The bell tower, the symbol of the temple, was located to the right of the main gate. Next, head to Gensandaishido, which is on the left side of the main hall. Gensandaishi, the founders of omikuji, are enshrined here. The nearly 2m seated statue, “Gensandaishi Statue,” is considered to be a hidden Buddha.

After being burnt down at the end of the Edo period, it was rebuilt in 1867, earlier than the main hall. Hakusansha Shrine is hidden away on the left side of Gensandaishido. Furthermore, there is an approach to the shrine to the left of Gensandaishido, and as you go up there is Kaizando.

It was built in 1983, 1250 years after its founding. When I returned to the stone steps of Gensandaishi-do Hall, there was a pond on my left. This signpost was on the Koshu Highway until 1964. In addition, you can see “Shakado” in the back left of the main hall.

The building was constructed in 1976, and houses the National Treasure, the Shaka Nyorai Statue. You can see it. Next to Shakado was the Nadebotoke-sama “Obinzuru-sama”. I hope that your stiff shoulders will get better… and here is the Goshuin seal that you received on the day.

“Muryoju” refers to “Amida Nyorai”, the main image of worship in the main hall. Now, after visiting Jindaiji, we decided to have lunch. If you walk towards the Sanmon gate on your left, you will find a soba restaurant. I’ll stop by. I decided to eat soba at Jindaiji soba restaurant “Ikkyuan.”

There were three types of soba: 100%, 90%, and 80%. In addition to this menu, there were other seasonal menus, but on that day I took the plunge and ordered the seasonal “duck soup soba.” It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. After filling up at Ikkyuan, I headed to Fudaten Shrine, but it

Was a bit of a detour. Climb the slope next to Ikkyuan and immediately turn into the hidari. Then, on the left hand side was the Enmei Kannon statue. “Jikaku Daishi’s self-engraved Enmei Kannon” is enshrined here. We say hello and continue on our way. This is “Shinsado”. It enshrines “Shenzhen the Great”.

As we went further, we came across Daikokuten and Ebisuson. It may be rude, but it’s a little cute. Next, go to Jindaiji Street and walk west. Then, the “Julian Garden” came into view. I’ll stop by. It’s a small garden. It seems that few people notice this garden.

Now, it’s time to head to Fudaten Shrine. Turn left at the Jindaiji entrance signal and head towards Miyakodo. On the way, you will cross the Nogawa River. When you arrive at the traffic light south of Otosakabashi Bridge, turn diagonally to the left.

Then you will hit the Koshu Highway, so turn left and head east. Next, turn left at the traffic light in front of Fudatenjin Shrine. Then, a torii gate appeared in front of me. We have arrived. The deity enshrined here is Shonyobikonakami, who created the country along with Okuninushi.

Also, “Sugawara Michizane” is famous as the god of learning. The date of its establishment is unknown, but according to the shrine’s legend, it dates back to 1940, during the reign of Emperor Suinin (29-70 BC). It happened in late January. The plum blossoms just starting to bloom were beautiful.

After purifying myself at the temizuya, I headed to the shrine at the end of the approach. When you get to the front of the shrine, you will see a pair of guardian dogs on both sides of the approach. The oldest guardian dog in Chofu city, built in 1796.

It has been designated as a Chofu City tangible cultural property. Now, in front of the shrine, I expressed my gratitude and prayed for world peace and for fewer disasters. Now, let’s go to the customary “main shrine”. I went to the back of the shrine building from the right side.

The main shrine was rebuilt in 1706. Although it is surrounded by a covered shrine and cannot be seen from the outside, we gently put our hands together. On the right side of the shrine building is Inari Shrine. God of business prosperity.

Further on the right are Kotohira Shrine, the god of traffic safety, and Otori Shrine, the god of good luck and business prosperity. Furthermore, on the right is Mitake Shrine, which protects against fire and theft. Harido Shrine is said to purify sins and filth, and Hipo Shrine is said to quell epidemics.

A little further away is Itsukushima Shrine, the god of fortune and wisdom. Please join us at the precinct shrine. In addition, there is Inari Shrine, a shrine with a vermilion torii gate in front of the shrine. Since Michizane is the deity enshrined here, a “sacred cow” is also dedicated.

At Kagura-den, Sato Kagura is held on the 25th of every month, and Takigiya Kagura is held at the annual festival in September. Reiwa 3 (2021). It is said that the 500-year-old sacred tree has reached the end of its lifespan. This “Oyakokeyaki” is fine. I have received power.

There are many places around here that are associated with Isamu Kondo and the Shinsengumi. And here is the Goshuin seal that I received on the day. Please send information about the goshuin on the shrine’s official Instagram. This goshuin tour ends at “Futaten Shrine”.

Proceed along Tenjin Street and return to Chofu Station on the Keio Line. Take the Keio Line to Shinjuku. You can go to Kichijoji and Mitaka by bus. Thank you for watching until the end. Please be sure to subscribe to the channel and give us a high rating!

    お店の名前に元祖とか名代とかついててどこで食べようかと悩んだ事があります。

  2. 藤の時期に国領神社から布田天神社まで歩いて拝奉した事はありますが
