Hey there! Recommended by a Tokyo local! Today I’m going to introduce you to a Japanese Izakaya in Shibuya Make sure to watch until the end! Let’s go! First off, we’re starting from Shibuya station. We’ll head out from the Hachiko gate crossing the famous scramble Crossing passing by the Shibuya 109 building.

We continue along the street. After about a seven minute walk, we’ll arrive at the East Bay tower building. On the 14th floor of this building is the Izakaya I’m introducing today. It’s Gonpachi. Gonpachi is a Japanese restaurant offering Soba noodles skewered grills tempura and more. Let’s take the elevator up and head inside!

The interior has a dynamic traditional Japanese vibe. The staff are lively kind and provide excellent service. The level of service here is top notch. Now let’s order! The menu is available not only in Japanese but also in English, Korean and Chinese. there are so many delicious options.

Let me introduce some especially recommended items. First, let’s have a toast. the beer looks tasty! Cheers! Delicious! So now let me tell you the ranking of recommended meal menus. Ranked number five is assortment of sashimi. This isn’t on the menu.

But if you ask the staff, they’ll provide a fresh and delicious Sashimi platter. Oh medium fatty tuna! How beautiful you are. Tasty! The shrimp is plump and delicious! Tasty! This is turban shell. It has a strong sea Aroma chewy texture and sweet flavor as you bite into it.

The salmon is fresh too soft and juicy! Tasty! This is Bonito. Japanese Bonito is the best in the world. Tasty! Ranked number four is toro tuna belly with Wasabi and grated Daikon radish. Toro tuna belly is definitely tasty! Put some soysause on the grated Daikon radish and wasabi and eat.

Crispy and the outside and plump oysters inside exquisite. Yum, delicious! Ranked at number 3 is dashamaki rolled omelette. Dashamaki rolled omelette is an omelet flavored with Benito and kelp broth and light soy sauce. Gonpachi’s dashamaki egg is super fluffy. Definitely try this Japanese style omelette. Delicious!

Ranked at number 2 is assortment of Yakitori. This isn’t on the menu. But if you ask, they’ll provide a delicious assortment of Yakitori. Everything looks tasty! This is chicken tenderloin with Wasabi on top. Refreshing and delicious! This is chicken gizzard. I love the chewy texture. Delicious! This is beef tongue.

“Gyutan”(it’s japanese name of beef tongue) Delicious! This is a mushroom top with ground chicken and Grill! Love mushrooms This is liver No gaming taste at all. Tasty! This is chicken wing. Looks delicious! I’m going to eat it with my hands! Tasty! Before introducing number one, another special mention.

Let me introduce “kuroge beef” Japanese kuroge beef sirloin. It’s a limited quantity item. So I included it as a special mention. If you’re in Japan you definitely should try wagyu beef. You can enjoy the unique tender marbling and fat of Japanese beef. Yum delicious! Ranked at number one is “tempura seiro soba”.

When it comes to gunpachi, it’s all about soba noodles. And the tempura looks delicious! Depending on the season, they use the best region in variety of Buckwheat seeds grinding them carefully every morning to make their proud soba noodles. Dip it in the sauce and slurp like the Japanese do.
