【女ひとり旅】感動の松本城ライトアップと温泉旅館に泊まってグルメを堪能!長野県松本市の旅

~ A trip around Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture, Matsumoto Castle and castle town ~ I had time to myself. A luxurious time just for me. Today I came to Matsumoto City in Nagano Prefecture. First, I came to Matsumoto Castle.

One of the purposes of this trip. This is a projection mapping only available at this time of winter. As a castle hunter, I can’t help but see it. There are also food stalls. It’s like a festival and it’s fun ♡

I love the food stalls! But today, I have to wait for food at the hotel after this, so I’m patient. The area around the dugout was also lit up and looked very beautiful. There were a lot of customers! Everyone is paying attention. It’s about to start! I’m getting nervous! It was a fantastic show!

I feel the limits of the camera. Please come and see it with your own eyes. The show ended after about 15 minutes. I was impressed. There’s kind of a line forming. I was playing a rattle. I like this kind of thing. lol

What is my fortune today? ! (It’s golden, it’s golden, it’s golden) You lose. lol I got a sub. Well, it was fun, so let’s say it’s okay. Now, let’s head to the inn. I arrived after driving for a while. We arrived at Hotel New Kotobuki, our accommodation for the night.

I was so excited to see what kind of inn it would be ♡ I was shown the room right away. This is a Japanese-style room that is the perfect size for one person. Comes with a separate hand wash. The toilets are also clean. Comes with a washlet.

There was no bath, but there was a sink. Amenities are also abundant. That’s nice. Yukata sets and towels are available here. The yukata has a unique design. so cute. The whole room looks like this. The futon looks comfortable. Apparently dinner is ready, so I’ll head over right away.

Arrived at the dining venue! I’m glad to have a semi-private room. Looks delicious today too! I wonder what kind of course it is ~ I’ll eat it right away! First, let’s have a beer. Everyone, it’s so delicious! I also have plum wine as an aperitif, which is my favorite, and it’s delicious.

Refreshing side dishes. I’m glad. Well then, let’s eat in silence! The pork is now ready to eat. Wow, so much gravy. looks delicious! Th-This is. . . . It’s so delicious! I recommend it! ! Shinshu salmon and Thai sashimi! Wow, I can see it. There’s oil on it. Hey hey~★lol

I’m going to go get some salmon too. Ku~! Happy ~ Next is tempura. This is fluffy fried tempura. Takikomi rice with lots of mushrooms is ready. Wow, it’s already delicious! It’s already delicious~ I know! It’s delicious! lol Finally, dessert. Fruit and strawberry daifuku. The sweetness was just what I wanted.

It was very delicious. Let’s go back to the room and go to the hot spring. I changed my clothes~★ Ayoisho! That’s good too! I’m in a good mood. Now , I’ll grab my hot spring set and head to the hot springs. Then , let’s have some hot springs. It

Was a nice hot spring. It’s warm. After all, hot springs are good. One step closer to becoming a hot spring girl. Apparently, Her Majesty the Emperor and Empress of Japan visited this hotel when she was the Crown Prince. It’s very formal. Now, after your bath, make sure to hydrate yourself. It’s seeping through.

Get ready for bed. Tomorrow we will see Matsumoto Castle again and visit some wonderful cafes! I’m sleepy. So, good night. good morning. I slept well. A hot spring town covered in snow. It’s nice to have a nice atmosphere~ Okay, let’s get changed!

You can drink morning tea even after returning seven miles. So let’s have some morning tea. Even so, it is a very unique teapot. lol That’s cute. The teacup was also very addictive. Haha , I’m calming down now. I ‘m going to have breakfast.

It’s refreshing in the morning too. I’m glad that the menu looks good for you. I’ll enjoy having this. There were nearly 2 cups of rice, and I ended up accidentally eating them all. As I get older, I’ve gradually come to like fish more and more.

Miso soup and pickled vegetables, the things my mothers loved to eat, eventually became my favorites as well. The rice is delicious. I’ll refill it. LOL I continued eating silently… I finished it. lol It was delicious ~ ha ~ I was happy. Finally, I’m going to take a morning bath ~

It felt so good ~. Get ready. Thank you for staying with me for one night. It was a very nice hotel. What’s the weather like today? I hope it’s warm. Okay, let’s go sightseeing in Matsumoto! This is Nawate Street. It is a street that retains the charm of the past.

A quirky frog doll will welcome you. LOL Apparently the frog is the mascot character of this street. Frog goods are sold in various places. We arrived at the cute ♡ Four Pillar Shrine. It’s time for a short guide here😊Yohashira

Shrine. Four deities (the units are pillars) are enshrined here: Amanomi-Nakanushi-kami, Takao-unreishin, Jinno-unreishin, and Amaterasu Omikami. It is a popular power spot among the locals and is known as the “God of Wishes,” which grants all wishes, such as fulfillment of wishes and protection from evil spirits.

It is said that it began in 1872 at the Shinto Middle School, which was established in Matsumoto, Chikuma Prefecture, and enshrined four gods in 1874. The shrine building was destroyed in the Great Matsumoto Fire of 1888, but it was rebuilt in 1924 and is now as lively as it is today.

I’m going to visit you. The guardian dogs are dignified. Found a fortune! I’ll leave this aside! Well, what do you think? ! Hooray~! It’s Daikichi! Good luck with your travels! Okay, let’s go to the next place quickly! lol I found taiyaki. I’m in a hurry, but this can’t be helped. LOL

What a huge taiyaki. it’s delicious. I’m supposed to be in a hurry, but I end up relaxing. lol A sunny day in winter. It’s warm and feels good. Next to Nawate Street is another wonderful street called Nakamachi Street. It’s a town of warehouses. The old townscape has been preserved.

There was. Next destination. Marumo-san has an inn and a cafe attached. Ordered coffee and Mont Blanc. Looks very delicious. I’ll enjoy having this. Mont Blanc is my favorite cake. It has a creamy filling inside and is very delicious. This fork won’t stop. lol The clerk guided me to a spacious seat. Gentle…♡

I wasn’t able to take many pictures inside the store because it was crowded, but it had a very nice and quaint interior. it was delicious. Thank you for the meal. This is the entrance to the inn. This is another wonderful house. I came to Matsumoto Castle again.

Yesterday we looked at the exterior, but today we will tour the inside of the castle. It’s very splendid ~ Let’s have a short guide time of Matsumoto Castle from here ~ 😊

Matsumoto Castle (Matsumoto Castle) originated from Fukashi Castle, which was built during the Eisho era of the Sengoku period, and is currently a five-story, six-story building. It is Japan’s oldest national treasure castle with a castle tower.

It is one of only five castles in Japan that has been designated as a national treasure, along with Himeji Castle, Hikone Castle, Inuyama Castle, and Matsue Castle.

The castle was built in the Matsumoto Basin at an altitude of approximately 590m, and the upper part of the wall covering the castle wall is painted with white plaster, and the lower clapboard is painted with black lacquer.

Because of its appearance, it was also called Karasujo (crow castle), but since no such historical documents have been found, Karasujo is now said to be a misnomer.

There were 23 lords of Matsumoto Castle from six families: the Ishikawa clan, the Ogasawara clan, the Matsudaira clan, the Hotta clan, the Mizuno clan, and the Toda clan. The last lord of the castle, the Toda clan, ruled from 1726 (Kyoho 11) to He served as the lord of the castle for 145 years.

The reason Matsumoto Castle still remains in this state is because of the residents’ efforts to preserve it. Castles that were difficult to preserve and manage were often demolished by some feudal clans. Like other castles, the Matsumoto Castle tower was destined to be demolished.

In 1873, the Castle Abolition Order was issued, and the castle towers and buildings of many castles across the country were demolished. Matsumoto Castle’s Ninomaru Palace was burnt down in 1876, and the south corner turret was also demolished, leaving only the castle tower, stone wall (earthwork), and moat. I did.

At that time, Ryozo Ichikawa, the publisher of Shinhi Shimbun, collected funds from volunteers, borrowed the castle tower from the successful bidder, and with the cooperation of the prefecture held an exposition at the castle tower, which led to its demolition. avoided.

The exhibition was held for two months, and the castle tower was bought back using the admission fees. After that, Matsumoto Castle faced its second crisis. The damage to the castle tower became noticeable.

The person who appealed for repair work was Yuya Kobayashi (Unari), the principal of Matsumoto Junior High School at the time. The Matsumoto Castle Preservation Society was set up to collect donations from many people and carry out repairs.

Matsumoto Castle was the fruit of these efforts of the residents. When I think about the hardships I went through at the time, I feel honored to be able to tour Matsumoto Castle like this! It was a little study time for Matsumoto Castle😊 It was so much fun!

The place was lit up yesterday. The atmosphere is completely different when you come during the day. There was a popular soba restaurant nearby. Mr. Yamato. There is a queue. It’s a clean shop with a good atmosphere. Tempura Zaru Soba has arrived. You can tell just by looking at it. It’s delicious★lol Stylish presentation.

Let’s have it. The flavor of soba spreads. Delicious ~ I can see that tempura is also a good ingredient. At the end, we will have soba-yu. It was very delicious. Thank you for the meal. Finally, we will visit Kaichi School, a national treasure. This was recommended by a viewer.

It’s currently closed due to earthquake-proofing construction, but we’ll take a look at the exterior as well. This school building was built in the early Meiji period by a local carpenter using the latest Western-style architecture and traditional techniques. It’s wonderful ~ I’ll come again when the construction is finished.

Matsumoto City is a historic town where old streets and buildings remain. Ah, I really enjoyed this solo trip. Let’s go back to the real world. lol Thank you for watching this time. Please subscribe to the channel and comment if you like! See you on my next solo trip~♡
