3年連続参加ホノルルマラソン2023👟前後日と当日の全記録vlog🇺🇸|初心者でも挑戦すれば叶う【ハワイvlog】

Moved from Hawaii Island to Oahu Picked up an Uber at the 2nd floor stop and headed into the city It took me an hour to get to the city where it usually takes me 20 minutes due to heavy traffic! I arrived on Oahu two days before the marathon to run the Honolulu Marathon.

Will be staying at the Sheraton Waikiki again this year! We’ve evolved from wristband room keys to watchbelt ones. Upgraded to a premium high oceanfront room Simple room with bathtub. I always stay here because it is right in the middle of the Honolulu Marathon start and finish line!

Unobstructed view of the Pacific Ocean from the lanai! Looking forward to tomorrow morning! We have a restaurant reservation at 9pm, so we’ll be relaxing in our room until then! I’m hungry, so I buy a malasada from Kamehameha Bakery at the Lawson on the first floor.

Malasadas were not enough, so I opened a bowl of miso soup and alpha rice that I brought from Japan Alpha rice that can be made into rice by adding water or hot water, waiting a few minutes, and mixing.

Alpha rice is bought as an emergency ration, but it is also recommended for overseas travel because of its light weight. It tastes better than convenience store rice balls. I ate a little too much before dinner… Heading to a NEW OPEN restaurant that I’ve been wanting to visit when I get to Honolulu!

Honolulu in December has lovely Christmas lights💛. I think there are more Koreans than Japanese in recent years We have made reservations at the Italian restaurant in ALOHILANI RESORT This is the first overseas restaurant of Chef Ochiai, famous for his Udan pasta!

The restaurant has a large aquarium on the wall with real fish swimming in it! Perfect looking and tasting cured ham Scallops carpaccio Shrimp pasta The famous Udan pasta was a great first bite of happiness! All the food was superb! First day in Honolulu and it was a great night!

Slept too late and missed breakfast! Beautiful Hawaiian ocean all around No matter how many times I’ve been to Hawaii, I’m always impressed by the beauty of the ocean from my lanai. Good morning to you too! Sixth day in Hawaii Great weather! Going to pick up my Honolulu Marathon bib today.

I’m going to take some time to rest my legs. We’re heading to the convention center. We’re here to get our bib numbers again this year. There are original goods for sale and events, but the crowds are huge, so this year I’m just going to get my bib number and leave quickly!

I give them the exchange number I have received in my email and pick up my bib. I receive a sticker, a bag for my luggage, and a safety pin. I check my number sensor and that’s it. Honolulu Marathon, which I started participating in every year 3 years ago to stay healthy

I want to finish the marathon again this year while having fun so as not to get injured. Eating lunch at a popular food truck near the convention center! Popular food trucks on the North Shore I’m starving, so I’m going to eat on the terrace

I order the swordfish fish plate and the ahi poke plate beautiful~I’ll make love to you This ahi poke plate was so good! Picking up an Uber and heading back to Kalakaua Avenue! Cereal bar was open and I’m having dessert… It was soooo good with a crunchy new texture!

I want to eat another one! I’ll be up at 3:30 tomorrow morning, so I’ll be resting early at the hotel One of the perks of being at the Sheraton Waikiki is that I get this view every day!

I’m going to get a latte on the first floor of the hotel and go back to my room. I love spending time on the lanai feeling the Hawaiian breeze! Hawaii has a comfort that can only be found in Hawaii Wearing the Honolulu Marathon with my number on my wear.

Going to buy breakfast and drinks and getting ready for tomorrow Watching the beautiful sunset and appreciating the end of the day Today’s sunset was a cloudless orange, and the lanai in our room was a special place!

Dinner is served with a bowl of rice and a bowl of rice that I brought with me. Hot water is added and stirred Close and wait 15 minutes In the meantime, make the bowls and bowls After 15 minutes, mix and it’s done Delicious instant wakame rice is ready

After dinner and a bath, I fell asleep before 21:00 Ate breakfast, taped up, put on sunscreen… every year a flurry of… We left the hotel at 4:20 and walked about 25 minutes to the starting point, Ala Moana Park! 5:00At the start of the race, the famous fireworks display is set off.

Streaming through the crowd, we move to the position where the flag with the number color is standing The start sign is now in sight The 10-minute fireworks climax! Water supply is taken well Run slowly and enjoy the illumination as there are many people at first Back to Kalakaua Avenue where the hotel is.

The cheering along the roadside really gives me power! 10km point at the foot of Diamond Head Energy charge as I crossed the 10km mark Going up the hill of Diamond Head Beautiful morning sky 💛 Gels were provided this year! The sun is coming up! 15km Coming onto the highway HAWAI KAI turnaround

26km after the half. Repeat of walking and running from this area. Soumen noodles! Thank you so much! It was very tasty! 30km when my knee started to hurt! Drinking energy gel and going forward step by step anyway Down Diamond Head and the finish line is just around the corner

It was 28 degrees Celsius and humid this year, but the beautiful scenery of Hawaii pushed me back! 40km with max knee pain Long straight line after seeing the finish line sign This year I even got to call my name at the finish line!

Honolulu 3 years ago for the first time, then I set a goal to run it 3 years in a row. That goal came true. I’m going to ask you to put a finisher’s medal on it. T-shirt and With malasada Bananas, I got them as usual~.

My time was 6 hours and 16 minutes. I’m slow, but I feel so accomplished to have finished the race! I can’t stand up if I sit down, so I walk 20 minutes back to the hotel. This year’s finisher’s medal has a diamond head design on the back.

I came back to life with a latte! I’m going to fill the bathtub with water, icing my feet, and take a little nap. Marathon is over and my feet are sore. I’m going to get takeout from a nearby poke shop But first… I’m going to go to Ross Dress for a minute

Ross Dress is an outlet store. Sometimes they have great bargains on shoes and other items. Tory Burch sandals $50 → $29.99 Nike and some others. $86 → $44.99 I have big feet (26.5cm) so I tend to look for shoes in the US! GUESS sunglasses😎. $29 →$14.99 BIRKENSTOCK shoes $49.99 Cute $9.99

6 pair of TOMMY HILFIGER socks $9.99 I was sure I could find other bargains if I looked for bags, clothes, etc. I bought a sweater from DKNY JEANS Poke store next door Poke bowl with choice of toppings of your choice. Limited selection at closing time!

I’m going to go back to the hotel and eat slowly The best Waikiki poke I’ve ever had! The end of a long and intense day. The best day of my life, I’m tired but I felt alive with every fiber of my being! Came here for breakfast at the hotel.

Upgraded continental with free breakfast specials and ordered eggs benedict and steak & eggs Eating lots of food since I burned off some energy yesterday The ocean in Waikiki is the most beautiful blue in the morning

Today I’m going to spend some time on the beach and in the pool to relax and heal my body Sheraton Waikiki’s famous infinity pool Pool with a spectacular view that appears to be connected to the ocean Perfect for recovering from marathon muscle fatigue I always bring one book on my trips

I chose this book because I wanted to learn about the most read book in the world, the Bible! All the history of the world is connected to the Bible Recommended for those who love to travel and love history! Sheraton Waikiki has a family pool, slides and Jacuzzi! We’re going to Waikiki Beach.

The clear, beautiful blue ocean, even up close Reading a book while lapping the pool and beach. This is the most luxurious way to spend time in Hawaii. Spent about 5 hours soaking up the sun and relaxing. Back to my room to shower and get ready to go out Marriott Platinum rewards gift card

I got a gift again this year and I’m going to redeem it I get as many gifts as I can stuff in the bag. I get candy and drinks. I’m going home tomorrow, so I’ll do a little last minute shopping I’m after the Hawaii limited edition tote bag

A must-visit store when in Hawaii💛We have great items from all over the world! Especially a wide variety of candles I know what I’m going to buy. MAKANA Hawaiian candles only available here. Love the scent of ISLA! I’m told there are only a few available, so I’ll be buying up all of them.

I’m supported by these scents. I only buy MAKANA candles sparingly I’ll be able to make it through another year with these Hawaiian candles! I’m going to try the reopened DFS. Not much to see personally, just bought a souvenir coffee Popular poke store, huge line, more than you can imagine!

Finally able to order after waiting in line for 30 minutes From there, I waited 25 minutes and finally received my order. It takes a long time because it is too popular. Back at the hotel. It was worth the wait in line, it was delicious!

I love the wakame salad that is often included in poke Hawaii felt even weaker than last year. I got more takeout but it was still expensive… I always feel a little sad on the last day. I want to keep looking at the endless sea The cost of a marathon lasts a while

I didn’t want to leave, so I woke up and didn’t move for a while I came to the hotel for breakfast Continental breakfast with free perks I have to check out by 10:20am as I have a 12:40pm flight. But before that, I really want to go somewhere.

I regretted that I forgot to eat acai bowl in Hawaii this time, so I came here to buy one! But there is a huge line… I don’t have time to wait in line, so I give up! I buy a latte at DEAN&DELUCA Back to the room to get ready to go home.

It’s full, but I managed to get it all in. The new suitcase was easy to use Thanks for the great views. No way Uber will catch me after a 40 minute wait and I won’t make it in time, so I’m taking a cab to the airport!

Arriving at the airport in a bit of a hurry due to traffic congestion. After this, tragedy followed… Overweight baggage change, 40 minutes in line at security check, and then I got stuck… I dashed to the very back of the boarding gate! I was called out…

I thought I was going to miss the flight, but I arrived one minute before. I’ll be back, Hawaii! Thank you for watching to the end! See you on the next trip!
