Mt. Aso bathed in the morning sun “Aso Skyline Observatory” Nishiyunoura, Aso City Description of Aso Skyline Observatory. The road that runs from Prefectural Route 339 to Route 45 via Route 12, which runs along the ridge of Aso Kita Somama, is commonly known as Milk Road.

The observation point near the border between Route 339 and Route 12 is the Aso Skyline Observation Deck. Although it is just a large parking lot with no facilities, it is a spot where you can enjoy a view that rivals Daikanbo, which boasts the best view in Aso.

It is also called the “scenic parking lot” due to its unexpectedly good views. At the observatory, you can see Mt. Aso, the rural landscape of the Aso Valley below, and the cityscape of Aso and the Uchinomaki hot spring town without having to get off the car.

It is also said to be a good spot to observe the sea of clouds that occurs several times a year. This time, I visited to take a video of the beautiful morning sun rising from the somma and Mt. Aso illuminated by the morning sun.

I was thinking that if I was lucky, I might be able to photograph a sea of clouds, but I don’t often come across rare natural phenomena. However, we were able to see the night view of Aso Valley and the beautiful sunrise. It’s finally getting a little brighter.

Today I am visiting the “Aso Skyline Observation Deck” in Nishiyunoura, Aso City. This time we will introduce the morning sun rising from the somma and Mt. Aso illuminated by its light. I also took a snapshot of the beautiful night view. Please watch till the end. So please enjoy! Aso city
