【セブ島】人気観光地やグルメ、基本情報もたっぷりご紹介!(セブシティ/フィリピン旅行/Cebu island/Philippines Trip Vlog)#1
Hello. Today we came to a beautiful remote island, Asia’s leading resort island “Cebu Island” A shocking world was waiting for us.The first day of our 7-day trip to Cebu Island, we will be traveling to Cebu City. What is a tropical resort? What is the different downtown Cebu?
It’s a spot where you can experience not only the European atmosphere but also the local atmosphere, with many historical buildings from the Spanish colonial era.Of course, don’t forget the delicious island food♪ This video is a channel specializing in remote islands.Beautiful islands in Japan and overseas We will continue to bring you videos, so
Please subscribe to our channel! Cebu City edition (Kansai International Airport) Overseas edition starts from this time! If you like the channel that specializes in remote islands that usually introduces Japanese islands, please check out the other videos ♪ Depart at 12:20 and connect in Taiwan in 1 hour (I’m worried)
It will be crowded during the year-end and New Year holidays, so please arrive at the airport 3 hours early. I came to Cebu for the first time in 5 years, and I wonder what kind of trip it will be like 😀 I
Will introduce you to the prices, security, sightseeing spots, etc. in the Philippines, so whether you are going to Cebu or not, you will feel like you are traveling together. Please take a look ♪ This time we will travel to downtown Cebu.
There were times when we would be scared by some amazing sights. This is a video that we want you to know that there are islands like this in the world. This time, we will be traveling to downtown Cebu. Airline) to the Philippines
Is a new airline based in Taiwan that operates routes to Asia Maybe it’s because it’s a Taiwanese company, but the food is delicious and the food is just like Japanese people 😛 It’s very comfortable and the service is perfect. This was my first time using it, and I’ll definitely try again next time.
I thought I would like to use Starlux even if it is a little more expensive ! (Taipei Taoyuan International Airport) It’s not a big airport, so don’t worry about it because you only have an hour to connect there. If there are other people who have the same connection, don’t worry. It’s
Written as “Shukugiri” and it’s Cebu! 😮 I can predict the words of Taiwan based on kanji, but I can’t imagine it being Cebu because of the inn. 😀 Taiwan was so much fun that it ranked high among the overseas countries I’ve been to in the past
, and the in-flight food is something I’d like to travel to again . It just came out, so I was thinking of going to sleep, and then it was time for the in-flight meal again! ! I’m sorry, but I thought I’d leave it, but this looks delicious! ! As expected, it’s delicious 😛
Let’s eat it if we can before entering the Philippines We will travel from Japan to Taiwan in 2 hours and from Taiwan to Cebu in 4 hours at a leisurely pace. The time difference with Japan is one hour, so you don’t feel like you’re in a foreign country. The
Scenery of Cebu that is often imagined is actually not Cebu Island, but Mactan Island, which is connected to Cebu Island at one end.In contrast to Mactan Island, where beach resorts are spread out. Cebu Island, where Cebu City is located, will spend three nights in Cebu City, where different scenery spreads out ,
So please take a look at the video.I will share some information about Cebu.Exchange Japanese yen to peso1 peso = 2.5 yen (2023.12.28 ) It was about 10,000 yen per day, but since I was staying for 5 days, it was 50,000 yen → 18,245 pesos ① Pocket Wi-Fi ② SIM card ③ eSIM
This time I used eSIM (Holafly) for the first time. It was very comfortable to watch ♪ The price is 3,400 yen/person for 7 days of unlimited data, and you don’t have to carry it around like pocket Wi-Fi or have to buy and replace a SIM card locally!
The most common way to arrange a taxi is with the app Grab, which allows you to set your destination and the driver will pick you up and check the fare in advance, so you don’t have to worry about being ripped off! Mactan Airport → Cebu City P400 (1,000 yen)
At first, I thought it was a bigger city than I expected, but when I walked around at night, I saw a shocking sight and got scared. The poverty gap in Cebu is bigger than I imagined, which is common in other countries, but words
The distance between people and cars was so close that I lost my car 😮 The perfect hotel for sightseeing in the city center of Cebu I will stay at this hotel for 3 nights from today. ・3 nights with breakfast 17,644 yen/2 people (Trip .com reservation) The staff are very kind and soothing.
In Japan, it’s okay even if the room doesn’t have a washbasin or toilet, but overseas hotels of that grade are quite strict. A long time ago, a large amount of G occurred at a cheap hotel overseas:’ -( I’m not saying it’s extravagant, but there’s no door in the washbasin and bathroom! 😮
The shower from above seems like a foreign country. The only thing that bothered me was that the temperature of the shower was lukewarm and there was no safe in the room. (Described as fully equipped) Why isn’t there one? Well, that’s it!
This air conditioner! Even if I raise the temperature, does it drop? It’s cold! But I don’t care because I’m overseas! I’m grateful that I was able to stay safely. This is the Philippine peso I exchanged. In the past, the yen was strong. I heard that prices were cheap, but
As you know, the yen is weak now, and it is converted into Japanese yen by multiplying by 2.5, which is about the same as in Japan. 1000 pesos → 2500 yen Electronic payment is not very popular in the Philippines, so you have
To pay in cash. There are a lot of people, and if you pay even a small amount of money, they’ll look at you with a frown. 😀 Then I’ll go to the convenience store to buy dinner
. Downtown at night is pretty scary. There are a lot of people living on the streets, and there are big piles of garbage on the roadsides. I thought it was garbage, but when I bumped into it, I saw people sleeping. I thought this was a developing country, so I bought dinner at 7-Eleven.
It’s quite different from Japan! What surprised me was the miscellaneous food . It’s strange that it has a bola-bola in it.I have a vague idea about this. What is this?I’ll buy it based on my intuition.Google Lens is useful when looking at menus overseas♪ What is this bola-bola?What
‘s your budget ? Apparently it’s Bora Bora: ( This is another thing to buy based on intuition! It’s the best part of being overseas. You’ll often be asked to give some change if you want to return it in bills. It’s 232 pesos, so it’s 580 yen. Convenience stores are cheap.
These paper bags always tore and fell . I don’t have an appetite, so today I bought a Chinese steamed bun called ASADO for dinner. It ‘s pork with a sweet sauce.By the way, the Bora Bora from earlier tasted like minced meat and boiled egg, and it was delicious!Japanese favorite seasoned
Busog . ・It’s a cheap lunch box from the Philippines called Mir, which means “full” in Tagalog. Doesn’t it taste better than you expected? It’s a sauce for Chinese steamed buns called shaobao, but at the time I didn’t know what it was, so I just ate it in my lunch box 😀
It was the second morning of my first day, which was a little uneasy because I couldn’t get used to it as soon as I arrived ! good morning! I came to eat the breakfast buffet at the hotel. What is the food like in the Philippines?
In Filipino cuisine, the same seasonings are mainly used and the taste of all dishes is similar. Rice is the same staple food as in Japan, where there are many sweet and sour flavors , so perhaps this is the seasoning that Japanese people prefer?
I’m nervous because I don’t know what it looks like 😀 Is it pancit, a Filipino dish? This omelet looked delicious and was full of vegetables! I tried to arrange it all! This one is served in a Filipino style♪ It goes well with rice and bread, and this is cucumber juice! ? I’m curious
To try something like vermicelli noodles.I wonder what these bright red gnats are.tucino – Delicious fried meat with a sweet and salty soy sauce base! ! Japanese favorite taste that you can’t imagine from its simple appearance Plenty of fresh tropical fruits ♪ Is this blue jelly your favorite? Sweet and delicious!
Buko pandan jelly, a classic dessert of buko (coconut fruit) and condensed milk The world’s longest Christmas in the Philippines♪ It looks like it starts in September! There was a pool on the rooftop! I’m curious about Japanese 😀
The climate in the Philippines is warm all year round, and there are no four seasons like Japan; it’s always summer with intense heat (March-May), rainy season (June-November), and dry season (December-February)! Today we will take a leisurely day of sightseeing in Cebu City ♪ You can travel by bus, by taxi, jeepney, or tricycle.
Jeepneys, which are shared buses that run on a set route, are difficult to navigate, so we will be sightseeing on foot. Experience life in the Philippines. Let’s feel it! Today’s temperature is 29 degrees! It’s summer! The average monthly income in the Philippines is said to be about 40,000 yen
For the poor, and it is said to be about 16,000 yen.I was shocked to see so many children walking around naked and people living on the streets in the city. This is how people are able to do business. In 1521, the Portuguese navigator Ferdinand Magellan came ashore to expand Spain’s territory, and when he
Felt that he was able to live a normal life , he called for a miracle in the spread of Christianity in the Philippines, and claimed that it was effective against all illnesses. The wooden cross built by Magellan , the first man in history to circumnavigate the world. The
Octagonal hall of Magellan’s Cross was built to prevent the cross from being completely destroyed, as people who believed that Magellan could cure all ailments began to carve away the cross. Right in front of you is a spot that represents Cebu Island.
There is good security at the entrance to the tourist spot. If you see a camera, they will greet you. There are many red candles at the entrance. When I was there, he called out to me and said, “ It’s here.” I’m so excited to see it and try it out ! ! !
A candle that you can buy for 1 peso, and it’s like a flower offering in Japan.A divine light shines on the red candle, and the statue of Mary is so beautiful that it remains in my memory. Is there a church in the distance? There was a huge building, and looking back,
It was a famous spot that you can’t miss when you come to Cebu.It is the oldest church in the Philippines, built under Spanish rule.Due to the influence of colonial rule, Catholicism spread to about 90% of the Filipino population. I don’t know if this is the right word to describe it, but it
Feels more like a cathedral than a church, and has a European feel like an Italian church. , it was like looking at many large paintings in an art museum. This may be my favorite place in Cebu City. Since 1568, this place has been burnt down, rebuilt, destroyed, and restored many times
. Today, this place has been rebuilt many times. I’m grateful for being able to come here and move on to a deeper world! The trash can is stylish and cute. I bought some juice at a cafe I found on the way.
It had so much mango and lemon in it and it was cheap! Oh! It has an overseas atmosphere and gets you excited! Squeeze the lemon for me, what should I do with the sugar? I was asked this, so I ordered a small portion and the mango pulp was completed! Thank you ♪ It looks a little different but it’s delicious so it’s ok 😛 Just walking around is fun in a foreign town When I was buying water here, an incident happened… When I was collecting the change, I saw a passerby… A woman asked me for a hand and grabbed my wallet from behind.
If you look at your wallet in a place where there are a lot of people, you need to be careful because a child might reach out or grab your hand! I can’t imagine living peacefully in Japan. It’s a sad but common sight overseas. The oldest fort in the Philippines, built to protect against pirates, is located in the middle of the city. It was a fortress right next to the castle, and it was clear that the battle was fought from here. There were still cannons and a camp for prisoners of war, and there were
Few people, so it was a somewhat melancholy tourist spot. However, there is a sense of openness that you cannot see in Japan. The well was built like a park, and the scenery was so pleasant that you wouldn’t think it was a fortress
. The only country that can’t take the top spot is the Philippines:-o That’s why Jollibee is so popular in the country The reason why Jollibee continues to beat McDonald’s is because of its strategy of focusing on the tastes of Filipinos . People prefer sweet, spicy, and salty dishes.Using banana ketchup instead of tomato ketchup gives it a sweeter flavor.Gravy sauce for both chicken and burgers is simple but delicious and
Is made using the juices that come out when the meat is cooked. I didn’t really understand it because it didn’t have a particular taste:-o When I returned to the city, I found a cat customer:) Then, please feel like you are traveling with me to a more local world of the Philippines ♪
How to cross the road, basics The car won’t stop, it’s too scary! ! So chaotic! What is this world like?:-o The center of Cebu city is crowded with local people all day long with the exhaust fumes of cars and motorcycles, and unlike Mactan Island, which is full of resort hotels,
It is a typical daily scene in the Philippines. Cebu City (Cebu Island) is the largest local market in Cebu Island and is said to be the “common people’s kitchen’ ‘, a mysterious space where you can be overwhelmed by the scenery that makes you feel as if you have wandered into
The world of a movie where almost no Japanese people are seen. Business hours are 24 hours. I didn’t have the courage to go shopping because some of the shops were always open , but I had a good experience and realized that there are places like this in the world.I
Came to the last tourist spot of the day and learned about the history that happened in Cebu. It was an impressive sightseeing spot, with a huge monument depicting a famous scene that looked like a huge picture popping out in three dimensions ♪ ・Monument → SM Mall P180 450 yen
This time, it changed from a local place and developed. I arrived at a city-like space that I could n’t imagine from the scenery just now.Cebu Island’s most popular huge shopping mallIn Cebu Island, there are two major shopping malls along with Ayala Mall.Ayala
Mall is a bit more upscale, and SM Mall is close to daily life. It’s the first day of the Kata trip, but there’s a large supermarket, so I’ll buy some souvenirs first! It’s not very efficient at the beginning of a trip, but I think it’s
Easier to buy when you can when you’re overseas, and it’s a lot more exciting than in Japanese supermarkets! When you think of the Philippines, you think of pork! Let’s choose a popular souvenir from the many available ♪ 7D Mango is the most well-known among the many dried mangoes.
When you think of the Philippines, you think of dried mangoes! There is a type that is individually wrapped, so I recommend it! Peanut kisses are famous as souvenirs from Bohol Island across the ocean.I bought a lot of them, so I will introduce the rest when I returned to the hotel♪
The train that moves through the mall! ? oh! Botejuda! Marugame Seimen too! Is this Japan? 😀 It looks like Japan, but I wonder if it tastes different when you eat it.It’s similar , but it tastes different overseas. That’s true! A popular local restaurant with traditional Filipino flavors
The atmosphere is like a relaxing family restaurant♪ The sunburst fried chicken loved by the locals is sure to get you hooked Filipino dessert♪ Means “mix and mix” in Tagalog. Fruits, boiled beans, and ice cream on top of the shaved ice The purple ube ice cream that is indispensable for cream, jelly, and coconut halo-halo.It’s a pity that the Philippine specialty ice cream is sold out and
Is replaced with banana ice cream! But it’s sweet and delicious 🙂 Here are some Filipino brand shops: BENCH, a fashion brand from the Philippines/ If you want to buy fashionable souvenirs in Cebu, this is the place! They also make cute traditional crafts lined up with cute Filipino miscellaneous goods that will please
Kultura ! Although it’s a little pricey, I recommend it to people who want to buy rare overseas items with a focus on quality.I’m getting hungry, so I’m off to eat dinner! Selling things while waiting at traffic lights is a common sight. The city is packed with information from
Local to urban areas in a compact area.It is the most developed area in Cebu, where foreign companies gather. The most cutting-edge offices and commercial facilities are gathered here. Location “IT Park” Cebu Island’s largest night market “Sugbo Mercado” In the old words of Cebu, Cebu (Sugbo) Market (Mercado) means
Mango, a mango that I definitely wanted to drink when I came to Cebu:) No. 1 locally recommended Speaking of this store! Overwhelming amount of mango This is 300 yen! 😮 It’s so big♪ There’s a lot of mango in this rich shake! You’ll understand why it’s so popular once you take a sip! Delicious looking ramen! It cost about 1,500 yen, so I decided to give up on it.I guess it tastes like ramen. There
Are 65 stalls that I wanted to try, and in the center there are 800 seats where you can find Filipino food at a good price.Let ‘s try some of the representative dishes of the Philippines♪ “Lechon” is a local dish that can be eaten all over the Philippines.
A whole pig stuffed with herbs and vegetables is roasted over charcoal, a classic dish that is indispensable for special occasions such as Christmas and celebrations. For local Filipinos. What is your favorite dish? When I heard that, the first thing I thought was lechon! The tender meat and crispy skin were delicious.Anyway , when I think of the Philippines, I think of pork I ordered a menu that seemed to be from overseas.Charcoal -grilled pork steak and seafood.A night in the everlasting summer of the Philippines. The fragrant scent made me realize that I was spending the night in a country far away from Japan, and I could see the whole view from outside: D
There are beauty salons like this in Japan, but it’s kind of wild! I returned to the hotel safely – this is the souvenir I bought today! Let me introduce you a little bit! Speaking of Filipino instant, Lucky Me! Like Nissin? Pork King Chicharon (fried pork rind sweets) We recommend this to the
7D mango and peanut kiss banana chips introduced during the day ! 7D mango wrapped in chocolate! This was delicious 😛 Individually wrapped dried mangoes are great as souvenirs for companies, etc. This is a very popular Otap pie pastry sweet in Cebu and is delicious! Like Japanese home pie? It’s really sweet
, and since I’m going to be traveling around the island by boat, I bought this to update my suitcase! My favorite suitcase will be covered in scratches, so 🙁 OK! The journey has just begun. Next preview Cebu is a place where you can swim with whale sharks ♪ “Whale shark edition”
