Riding Pikachu Pokemon Train in Japan! A lot of Pikachu in this train!

This time we will ride the Pokemon train. It is a cute train full of Pikachu. Please watch the video to the end! I am in Sendai. From here I will take the Shinkansen to Ichinoseki Station. This is the Hayabusa. As for this train, it stops at every station until Ichinoseki.

It takes about 30 minutes from Sendai to Ichinoseki. Arriving at Ichinoseki, immediately… Pikachu welcomes you! Pikachu is quite big! Pikachu is also here. If you look closely, you can see 10 Pikachus. There are also Pikachus on the way to the platform. There are many Pikachus on the stairs of the station platform.

How many Pikachus are there in this station? And all Pikachu’s poses are different. And also on the platform… Many Pikachus exist. Cute Pikachu is also on the pillar. Pikachu says “Welcome to Ichinoseki”. Is there any other station where Pikachu welcomes you so much?

And there is a panel where you can take a picture. There is a big Pikachu here, too. There are many Pokemon goods sold at the station. When you go outside, you can see a Pokemon train in the distance. It is still under preparation. There is a stamp rally at the station.

Let’s push the stamp rally. It is a thin stamp of Pikachu. Now, I am going to the platform to get on the train. There are many posters advertising the Pokemon train here, too. Here comes the Pokemon train. Pikachu is at the front of the train. The whole train is yellow.

The brown part probably represents Pikachu’s buttocks. And countless numbers of Pikachu are drawn. And the train has two cars. The first half car is a seat. The second half car is a playroom. Now let’s get on. Inside is basically yellow design. And many Pikachus are present. Seats are also designed by Pikachu.

And there are various kinds of Monster Balls on each seat. This is Master Ball. There was also a Hyper Ball. There are many Pikachus on the ceiling. And the seats were full on this day. If you look closely, you can see a picture of Pokemon on the ceiling as well.

Here is my ticket. You can also have Pikachu’s ticket pressed. You can also get an appendix to commemorate your ride. Let’s open the contents. First of all, here is a notebook for your memories. There is a description of the train and a stamp rally. This is the communication room.

And the second car is the playroom. There are stamps that can be stamped at each stop along the way. On the back side, there is a coloring book. There is also a commemorative train ticket. Many Pikachus are drawn here, too. Station staffs are waving Pikachu umbrellas outside. Now, let’s depart.

It takes about 2 hours from here to Kesennuma Station, the last stop. The train stops at several stations along the way. There are also Monster Balls on the seat numbers. Pikachu is also hiding under the seat. There are many Pikachus in the back of the first car. All of them are cute.

There is also a hidden Pikachu next to the seat. It was like a hidden Mickey in Disneyland. And look at the Pokemon on the ceiling. Gengar Regice Next to Gengar, I don’t know what it is, Next to it is Venusaur. Dialga And other Pokémon are lined up.

There seems to be some in-car sales on the way. Some people bought Pikachu dolls. This train runs in the countryside. I consider it a pleasure to enjoy not only Pokemon but also the scenery of the Japanese countryside. By the way, the price of this Pokemon train is 2010 yen ($13)one way.

It runs only on weekends and holidays. Only one train runs per day, going and returning. Due to the popularity of the train, early reservations are recommended if you are considering it. By the way, I was not able to get this train on the return trip, so it is only going.

The yellow interior of the train looks nice as it enters the tunnel. And soon you will arrive at the first station. Arrival at Rikuzen-Matsugawa station. There is Pikachu here, too. The train stops at the stations along the way for 7 to 8 minutes so you can get off.

Let’s go back inside the car and take a look at the leading part. There are many Pikachus here, too. And the floor is covered with Pikachu’s lightning bolt. While the train is stopped, many people go outside.

It looks like the train is about to leave soon, so I go to the playroom of the second car. There are many Pikachu here too. And here is the playroom. A lot of Pikachu dolls are placed. Seven Pikachus? There are also many Pikachus on the wall.

When the number of people in the playroom is decreasing, they will come back again. And then, it’s time to go. You will arrive at the next station rather quickly. Arrival at Geibikei station. The Pokemon train stops in the middle of nature. Then we are leaving.

Here, too, a station attendant waves a Pikachu umbrella at us. You can go river rafting on the river here. And Pikachu is crying. I returned to the playroom again. Pikachu has been knocked down. The Pokemon curtains are nice. And a yellow sofa. A big Pikachu has been installed. Someone dropped it?

We are almost at the station and there will be less people. We arrived at the station and many people got off. There are so many Pikachus in the middle of the train! Is this a plaything? Is this a plaything to put in and play with? And here is…

You can borrow a conductor’s uniform. A hat with a monster ball. Pikachu’s tail? Pikachu’s catsuit. And uniform. This Ofunato line has many curves. It is even nicknamed “Dragon Rail. If you are prone to motion sickness, you may get sick. For those people, it is recommended to bring an anti-sickness medicine.

However, I think the Dragon Rail is beautiful. Pikachu is saying something, but I don’t know what he is saying. He said he was telling us that we would soon arrive at the Senmaya station, but I had no idea. I wish he would at least speak Japanese or English.

He said we can get a commemorative stamp at the next station. We arrived at Senmaya station. Pikachu welcomes us. There is a big Pikachu here too, the one that was at Ichinoseki station. Actually, this train also has a restroom. How does it look like? Let’s take a look. A small toilet.

And the inside is also designed with Pikachu. It’s an old-fashioned toilet, but it’s clean. The train started moving, and many people returned to their seats. Basically, many people go to the last station, Kesennuma, but there seem to be a certain number of people who get off at intermediate stations.

There is not much time left on this fun Pokemon train. Everyone has gone to the playroom as we approach the end of the train. I haven’t introduced this for a long time, but there is a small desk in my seat. Is it because I am the only person riding this train alone?

There is only one more stop. Orikabe station. What you should see here is… Pokemon plants. Pikachu and What is the one next to him? Now it’s off to the last stop, Kesennuma. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the last stop, Kesennuma.

As we approach the end point, there is still snow in some places. The playroom is closed as we approach the end of the train. Pikachu is making a very strange voice. It is time to say good-bye to Pikachu for the last time.

He is telling you not to forget anything when you get off the train. Pikachu is so kind. Arrival at Kesennuma. That’s goodbye to this Pokemon train. There is a monument of Pokemon at Kesennuma station, too. When you leave the station, you will see a big Pikachu again.

We will go sightseeing in Kesennuma from here. Kesennuma is a port town. You can see the red bridge and it is a beautiful port town. Although prosperous nowadays, Kesennuma has a sad history. On March 11, 2011, the Great East Japan Earthquake hit Kesennuma, and a 20-meter tsunami engulfed the town.

The red building in front of you was once destroyed by the tsunami, but was rebuilt. Now, more than 10 years later, reconstruction has progressed considerably, Various tsunami countermeasures have been implemented. Now let’s have a meal. This time, I will have fried oysters, a specialty of Kesennuma. It is served with lemon.

Crispy and delicious. Now let’s dip them in tartar sauce. And the small bowl that comes with the set meal. It is also delicious. After the meal, I returned to the station. Since I couldn’t make a reservation for the Pokemon train, I took the local train back to the station.

I missed this Pokemon object. I came back to Ichinoseki. This is the end of this video. If you liked this video, please give it a high rating and subscribe to our channel. Also, if you have any questions about this video or travel in Japan, we welcome them in the comments.
