【赤穂市】赤穂の美と遊び心が交差する『桃井ミュージアム』で楽しい1日【ロカプラ兵庫】

Wow, that looks very nice. This is delicious. What a beautiful sunset! What a great view. Hello and good evening. We are the Local Prime Channel‘s reporters. I’m Kanna Yagi. I’m Fuka Kayano.

We focus on items and people associated with Hyogo Prefecture in this Local Prime Channel and transmit them so that everyone can discover the fresh charm of Hyogo Prefecture. We are in Ako City, in Hyogo Prefecture. And we are at the Momoi Museum. We’d like to share our Unka-yaki and pottery experiences.

We’re going to have tea in a garden with a beautiful view. And it looks like we can stroll around in a tuk-tuk. Let’s enjoy this! Hello. We are the Local Prime Channel reporters. We are Kanna Yagi and Fuka Kayano. Nice to meet you. You have a 1/9% chance of winning a prize.

I’ll show Gacha-Master’s skills. Let’s give it a try. I got a coupon. A chopstick holder. This appears to be useful. Yellow A chopstick holder. The square-version. I must obtain the prize in a black capsule. So I’m going to give it another shot. Come on, I want the black capsule! Wait a minute! Congratulations!

Look, I won second prize! You can choose anything you want from here. I got the second prize. So, I guess he rings the bell when you win a special prize. What is this? This is what you put in a rice cooker! You’ll be able to cook tasty rice!

I’m going to eat tasty rice with this. Then why don’t we walk upstairs to get the finest view of Ako? Tableware featuring Chushingura (the Forty-seven Rōnin) narrative imagery is displayed. What a great view. While sitting on a chair, you can unwind and take in the scenery. Normally, we display Unka-yaki tableware here.

However, we will offer Akogishi (47 Rōnin) items in December. So, we are displaying tableware that has to do with it. This is an Unka-yaki pot, so it sounds nice. Unge-yaki is also called Unka-yaki. Kokoku Oshima’s Unka-yaki is derived from this. Hideyoshi Toyotomi bestowed the highest level on this Unge-yaki porcelain.

Unka-yaki applies the same method. To color Unka-yaki pottery, we employ flame and smoke. We exhibited these items in the “Chano yu no Zokeiten” exhibition. And we won prizes for these. It’s a fairly high-level competition. Unka-yaki workshop We’d like to ask you something. Could you tell us about Unka-yaki’s characteristics?

It is reported that ancient people manufactured fine clay and polished it with Tsubaki leaf. The color is created by the interaction of flame and smoke. As a result, we have no idea how it will turn out. But you can make a nice dish or ceramic panel. A kindergarten kid drew this. Thank you.

Could you tell us about the history of Unka-yaki? Benjiro Sakune, an Imado-yaki pottery maker, mentored Kokoku Oshima from the late Edo period until the Meiji period. He invented black clay and converted it into Unka-yaki. On the potteries, he depicted the sunset panorama of Setonai. Now, we’d like to enjoy the pottery workshop!

Let’s enjoy this. They used to polish this with Tsubaki leaf. However, because it caused scratches, we now polish it with a trowel. We wet the surface once. This is the basis of Unka-yaki. You create a thickness of roughly 5mm. You must choose between oval and round shapes. What’s 5mm like? Okay, very nice.

Now, you flip it. That’s the top surface. And that’s the back surface. You have to polish it again. We want you to stamp it like this. Right here. Very nice. I’d like you to sign here after you’ve stamped it. Very nice. Here, you can draw anything you want. Drawing time

What do you say? Very cute! You put eight of these here. Wow, that looks very nice. That’s it. So, this is how you make it. This will be shipped to you in a month and a half. I did it! Thank you! This is a garden with a fantastic view. The view is awesome.

You can enjoy many things here! Wow. Amazing. This is fun. This is a matchmaking pine tree. These woods can serve as a frame, depending on how you take a picture. And two people can enter to take a picture with the background. Wow, how pretty! It’s like a blessing. Matcha with Japanese confectionery.

Soft ice is here! I’d like to drink matcha! Matcha has a very rich flavor! This is delicious. I’m going to try the soft ice. This is quite milky. It really is soft ice. And the salt? I’ll sprinkle some. Since the soft ice is sweet, this is perfect.

So the saltiness is a lovely touch. It has to be good! Now, we’ll ride a tuk-tuk and go around Ako City. Kanna is driving the tuk-tuk! Hell yeah! Is this a picture spot? Oh, this is so beautiful! Nice! Very nice. What a beautiful sunset! Ocean Very nice.

It looks like you are very far away. Shooting pictures in a photogenic spot! Tuk-tuk for seven passengers. This is quite large! Concerning this tuk-tuk for seven passengers, They sometimes pick up and drop off for free from the popular sightseeing area, Kirakira-zaka, to the Momoi Museum. Mostly on Sundays.

They will pick you up and drop you off for free, just like a taxi. So, if you come down here, make sure you take this tuk-tuk for seven passengers! This is fun! You can bring your dog here, too. If your dog is big, you can enter from here.

If it’s a small dog, you can enter from the entrance while holding it in your arms. You and your dog may have a great time at the Momoi Museum! So, we spent the entire day here in the Momoi Museum. I got to enjoy the pottery workshop.

You don’t get to experience that every day. I loved touching the clay. I’m excited to see how it turns out. It’ll take a month and a half, but I can’t wait! They have a café where they offer drinks in Unka-yaki glasses. I got to drive the tuk-tuk and wander around Ako City.

In Japan, you don’t get to drive a tuk-tuk very often. Today was a special day for us. Thank you very much! Momoi Museum’s Unka-yaki workshop. I hope those of you who are watching will come and enjoy it as well. To participate in the pottery workshop,

Please check the conditions and sign up on the Momoi Museum’s official homepage! I’m Fuka Kayano. And Kanna Yagi. We shared our Unka-yaki ceramic workshop experience at the Momoi Museum! See you next time!
