【熱海旅館】最高のオーシャンビューと客室露天温泉@ATAMI せかいえ | Atami trip #2

Hello. This time we will talk about the accommodation part of our trip to Atami. At ATAMI Sekaie, enjoy the guest room hot springs and delicious food while looking out at the ocean. Please watch till the end. Hello everyone. This is Mouton from Cozier Style. I’m now at Atami Station.

In the previous video, I introduced the sightseeing tour of Atami by Limited Express Odoriko, so please take a look at that as well. From Atami Station to ATAMI Sekaiye, we are going to take a cab of the hotel’s shuttle service, which we requested in advance.

We have arrived at the hotel. ATAMI Sekaie opened in 2015. In 2017, a new building called “Tsuki no Michi(Road of the Moon)” was built, and there are two buildings. We will be staying in the front building, the ” SEKAIE Wing,” which has been there since the opening of the hotel. Let’s go in.

When we enter, we see a large window in front of the room. The view of Sagara Bay is very pleasant. Just sitting here and looking at the sea makes me feel special at once. There is a lounge in the back. Self-service Nespresso is available.

It seems that alcoholic drinks are served in the evening in this lounge. There are also box seats, so you can enjoy it even with a large number of people. It’s a nice space to relax while looking out at the ocean. Furthermore, there is a souvenir corner in the lobby.

Sekaie original dressings and snacks. There are also fragrances and amenities that are placed in the guest rooms. Now let’s check in. We check in a semi-private room with a view of the ocean. We were also given hot tea and hand towels. The hot tea warmed my cold body outside and relaxed me.

After checking in, I headed to my room on the lower floor. The elevator takes us to the second floor where we will stay. The blue carpet in the hallway is reminiscent of the ocean. I will be staying in number 2, Ocean View Superior. Open it with the key you got in the lobby.

Open! Change into these slippers at the entrance. Let’s go in. There is a bed corner as soon as we enter, and the living room is in the back. The window overlooks the ocean. Let’s go to the balcony. I go out wearing waterproof slippers.

Sagara Bay spreads out in front of us, and it feels good. It is also nice to sit and relax on this sofa. Further in the back is an open-air bath. It is fed directly from the source of Izuyama Onsen. Hot springs overlooking the ocean. It’s like a dream.

Get in before it gets dark later. This open-air bath has blinds in front and to the side, so you don’t have to worry about the outside. Now a room tour of the inside of the room. Take a look at the shelf below the TV. To the right of the shelf is a refrigerator.

Inside the refrigerator are bottled soft drinks such as tea and juice, as well as bottled beer. Those without tags are available at no extra charge. The drawers on the side are full of glasses. There are also plenty of tea and coffee cups in the bottom drawer. There’s a minibar on the shelf.

There is a Nespresso and a kettle. Tea bags are Mighty Leaf Organic Breakfast, Organic African Nectar and Green Tea. Nespresso has a wide variety with Sekaie’s original combination. There are also bottles of whiskey and free water. Next, let’s take a look at the bathroom. There are two washbasins.

Hand soap and body lotion are provided. Basic cosmetics are LEAF & BOTANICS. Inside the drawer are toothbrushes, hairbrushes, shavers, body towels, and cotton sets. In the other drawer are a hair dryer and a hair iron. There are two types of hair dryers, both made by Panasonic. There is also a Salonia hair iron.

There is a trash can and bath towels under the sink. The floor heating is working and it’s warm. In the back is a shower room and open-air bath. There is a rain shower, a hand shower, and a faucet below. Shampoo and body soap are also LEAF&BOTANICS. There are also wooden chairs and buckets.

Let’s go back to the living room and look at the work desk. On the desk there are tissues, an accessory case, a memo pad, a phone and a vape. There is a power tap inside the desk. Inside the drawer is a letter set and a charging cord.

There are also waterproof portable TVs that you can watch while taking a bath. It’s nice to have a desk where you can work while looking at the ocean. There is a bed behind the desk. There are two double beds. At the bedside is the light switch for the room.

There is also a power strip on top, so you can charge your smartphone while you sleep. A closet at the foot of the bed. This closet is divided into left and right side. On the right side are hangers, bathrobes, and blankets. The bathrobe is a firm toweling fabric.

In the bottom drawer are pajamas and yukata for women. Underneath are pajamas and yukata for men, and yukatas can be used as hotel wear. Inside the bottom drawer is a security box. Looking at the left side of the closet, there is a Hanten on a hanger. Perfect for cold days.

Let’s take a look at the entrance. There is a restroom on the right. It has a bidet. The entrance door is on the opposite side of the toilet. The shelf next to the door is a butler box. Put used towels here and

press the switch next to it, and they will be replaced with new towels. This is a nice service that makes me want to take a bath again and again. There are also two sizes of sandals, which you can wear to explore the hotel. We are back in the living room.

Check the booklet on the desk. It introduces the spa and the cuisine. It looks like there is room service, mainly for alcoholic beverages. The wi-fi speed is 47Mbps. Let’s take a walk around the hotel Go to the top terrace. Arrived at the 5th floor.

As soon as we get off the elevator, there is a mini-bar. There is water, tea, and Pocari Sweat in the refrigerator. There are tea bags, milk, sugar, and coffee capsules. Since I am here, I will have a cup of coffee. Now let’s take our coffee and go out to the terrace.

Large terrace with table and chairs. We will have coffee at this seat. It’s great to have coffee in front of Sagara Bay. The view is so beautiful that I feel like I want to stay here forever. We came back to the room.

I have a beer from the fridge and take a long-awaited bath in the open-air bath in the room. I’m looking at the ocean, drinking a beer, and getting warm in the hot spring. It feels great. I put my head on the ledge and stretch out my legs. It’s already dark outside.

I changed into a yukata. It is a lovely yellow color. The Hanten also fits perfectly. I put my keys in a mini bag on the desk and take it with me. I came to the lobby. We will have dinner at Japanese Cuisine Tsukushi.

We were shown to this room in the back of the restaurant. Let’s take a look at the menu. A dish to enjoy winter with plenty of crab. I am very much looking forward to it. There is a wide variety of drinks on the menu, including sake, wine, and other alcoholic beverages.

For the first drink, we ordered a lemon sparkling called Lemonese. Cheers. It is sweet and tasty, with a hint of rice malt. Now let’s have some food. Let me pick up a few and introduce them to you. The appetizers are arranged in a setting reminiscent of Atami’s natural surroundings.

The dish was hidden under the lid of a branch. This was burdock root wrapped with duck loin. The spicy wasabi and the savory aroma of the duck wafted through my nose. This is conger eel sushi. It is deliciously fluffy with the aroma of being seared.

The spring roll with persimmon and Nara pickles has a crispy outer dough and the sweetness of the persimmon spreads in my mouth. For our second drink, I ordered the sake comparison set. Three sake cups on a cute coaster. All are sakes from Shizuoka.

They are all sweet, but the aroma and aftertaste are slightly different, so they are fun to drink. Then, the main dish of crab. It is a char-grilled snow crab. It is served in front of us. The charred appearance of the crab looks even more delicious. Now let’s unwrap the crab and enjoy it.

First, take a bite with ponzu (Japanese sauce made of citrus fruit and vinegar). The aroma of the crab and the freshness of the ponzu are the best. Dip the crab in the hot crab miso and serve with yuzu kosho (Japanese citrus pepper) on top.

The combination of mild crab miso and tangy yuzu kosho is delicious. This is the best way to eat it. Next to the crab is the hot pot dish. They use kue (Japanese spiny lobster).

He prepared the dish in front of us and put it on the plate at the best timing for the heat to be just right. The Kue was delicious with just the right amount of fluffiness. The vegetables were at the perfect temperature and chewy, and their sweetness was carefully brought out.

The hot pot was divided into several portions, all of which were warm and tender. The final dish was takikomi-gohan (rice cooked with crab). It is served with miso soup made with Japanese Kue. The crab rice is a perfect combination of sake, the aroma of the dashi broth, and the accent of Mitsuba.

The miso soup is mild and gives one a sense of the koji (malted rice) in the white miso paste. Finally, they brought dessert and hojicha tea. Pears and grapes refreshed my mouth. The string-like thing on top is a Turkish pastry called Kadaif, which is sweet, crispy, and addictive.

It goes well with the crunchy sweet potato ice cream. Thank you for the meal. It was a warm and wholesome dinner of crab and hot pot. Looking at the lounge, we saw that drinks were now being served. It is nice to spend the night here. I went outside for a night stroll.

Since I’m here, I’m going to go see the “Moon Path Wing”. The lights below look like a path illuminated by the moon, which is fantastic. We have arrived. As soon as I enter, I see a bright lobby and lounge. Teppanyaki is served in this wing.

In addition, there is a karaoke room called ” Yorimichi”. Reservations are required. It is spacious enough to hold a large party. We will now return to our room in the Sekaie Wing.

Soaking in the hot spring bath in the room, we relaxed while reminiscing about the fun sightseeing and delicious meals we had enjoyed. It was a great day. I feel refreshed. Checking the bed before going to sleep. There are two types of pillows, hard and soft. The mattress is a little hard.

Well then, good night everyone. Good morning. The morning sunrise from the Sky Lounge on the 5th floor is very beautiful. The cool air and dazzling sunlight feels great. I heard that yoga classes are held in the morning in the space next to the Sky Lounge.

Yoga in front of the ocean is surely a wonderful experience. Since I had some time before breakfast, I went to the large bath on the first floor. The changing room is clean and compact. There are basic cosmetics, a hair dryer, and amenities, so you can come empty-handed.

There are towels for wiping your body and for the sauna. As all guest rooms have hot spring baths, there was no one in the room except for me. The bath with the morning sun shining through is somewhat fantastic.

The source of this bathtub is the same as the hot spring in the room, Izuyama Onsen. There is also a cold bath and sauna. I was refreshed by the bath and sauna. I took a short rest in the lounge near the elevator. In the refrigerator are Yakult, beer, and coffee milk.

Beer is also appealing, but since it’s morning, I choose coffee milk. It’s nice to soak up the afterglow of the bath in the lounge while looking out over the courtyard. I’m getting hungry, and it’s almost time for breakfast, so we go to the breakfast room. Here we are at the lobby.

It is the Japanese restaurant Tsukushi, where we also had dinner. We were shown to a semi-private room with a view of the sea. Breakfast with a view of the blue Sagara Bay is the best breakfast I have ever had. The pre-meal drink is a mixed apple and orange juice.

It’s refreshing and wakes me up. Let’s enjoy the dishes. Half of this pile of vegetables is served as a salad and half as hot vegetables. We divide them into small plates and pour the paprika dressing over them. The sweet dressing is delicious. This soup is made of bonito and chicken broth.

The rest of the vegetables are added here. The vegetables are now cooked. The soup has a strong broth that warms our bodies to the core. Next, they brought earthenware pot rice. The set includes pork miso soup, rice, and side dishes. Each plate is different and lovely.

The warming pork miso soup and a wide variety of side dishes are very satisfying. Finally, dessert and coffee are served. It was a breakfast filled with warm food in front of the ocean. Thank you very much. We came back to our room. We had sweets from the refrigerator with tea.

They are sweets from a long-established Japanese sweets store in Atami. There are white bean paste and sweet potato inside. It is delicious with a gentle sweetness. It goes well with green tea. Now, let’s go home. I was satisfied with the hot spring and delicious food. How was it?
