YorkKaw Pagoda(‌‌ယောက်ကော်ဘုရား/ရေဆန်ကျွန်းနက်ဘုရား) Most Historical Pagoda in Yangon #YorkKawPagoda

Mingalarpar to you all! Welcome back to TK Traveling Vlog! I am now at Zeya Muni Pagoda situated in (48) Quarter, North Dagon Township, Yangon. The holy area where the pagoda located is named as Mahar Kan Pwint hillock. So, we are going to pray the Buddha images, and to see other mystical things.

Please, come along with me. This place is the eastern gate to go in the pagoda. If we will come in from the eastern gate, it will bring us to the pagoda directly. And the statues to show that Buddha and Arahats are traveling around are placed here in the compound.

There are also the pagodas. Many pagodas are built with the administration of Aba U Thein Zaw around the whole compound. Once we come in from the eastern gate, here it is named as Yorkkaw Sayardaw. From the life of Yorkkaw venerable monk, Aba Yorkkaw decided to change the monk robe to Yogi robe.

And the statue who performed to propagate and to do the occult is displaced here. This is the statue of Sayar U Thein Han, also named as Yorkkaw Aphay Gyi. This venerable Sayar was a monk named as U Sattama Saik Di in monk life. As a monk is not appropriate to perform the occult,

He changed the appearance to human life as Yogi, and it is a statue of the venerable monk, U Sattama Saik Di, named as Yorkkaw Aphay Gyi who performed the occult and propagation of Buddhism and built the pagodas. The monk statue is also placed in one of the places in this compound.

The childhood name of Yorkkaw Aphay Gyi is Maung Hpone San. Only after the venerable monk started to perform the propagation, he transferred to the venerable Sir Yorkkaw U Thein Zaw to maintain, and upkeep the other pagodas, and main pagoda in the compound. Then, someone of Yorkkaw Aphay Gyi is

What I have to say! We are also going to ask the pagoda history to Aba U Thein Zaw who is a very closed and reliable follower of Yorkkaw Aphay Gyi, and is now responsible to upkeep the pagoda. So, we are going to pray in the pagoda. This is the pagoda precinct.

Before we go in the pagoda, let’s take a look around the precinct. To the pagoda precinct, This is the pagoda precinct. There are also the plantery posts on the precinct. And this pagoda is built as a replica of Ananda in Bagan. So, according to the circumstances of land position,

As there are not so many trees around the pagoda, the temple can be visible clearly to pray looking from here. The compound is also spacious. This is the pagoda precinct. And there are also the corner pagodas on the precinct. Let’s go to look there.

This place looks alike surrounding with the pagodas in Bagan. And this place is To talk about this land history, it is said that the pagoda was built on this land long time years ago.

The person who built the pagoda here is King Lu Lay, a son of King Okkalapa and second of chief queen. King Lu Lay received the knife that is embossed with the precious stones from King of celestial beings, father of King Okkalapa.

King Lu Lay was noted as an outstanding and smart one among the sons of King Okkalapa. That is King Lu Lay. Whenever King Lu Lay marched for the war to Yangon, he took a rest here. It is said that he built a pagoda where he rested.

When the time goes on, the ruined pagoda remained in this place. At that time, Yorkkaw venerable monk who built this pagoda was conjured to build the pagoda up. He prepared to build the pagoda according to his plan. When this surrounding area was formed into the city, this plot becomes the fallow land.

And this area was so harsh before. This area was known as Mwei Bwei land (viper land) according to having so many vipers. The another name was also noted for this place. As this land is intended to be propagated ground for Buddhism one day,

This land is known as Htun Pyan Gone (the land of reversed moving harrow). The peasants and the farmers near this village tried to harrow on this land, but they could not harrow and cultivate. The reason is the logs of the harrow move reversely.

Therefore, this land is noted as Htun Pyan Gone (the land of the reversed moving harrow). When Yorkkaw venerable monk as well as Yorkkaw Aphay Gyi made a vow to build the pagoda here one day, that vow comes true to the current situation. The total land area is 5 acres.

And only when a vow was made to build the pagoda here, it happens to build the pagoda step by step. At the time the pagoda was finished to build,

The black teak (Black Tectona Grandis) image that will reside in this pagoda is here about to carve Yay San Kyun Nat (Upstreamed Black Teak image). If we are in the pagoda, I will share more about Yay San Kyun Nat image.

King Lu Lay built ten pagodas at different places of Yangon including this place. Pagodas named Shwe Bhone Pwint, Wuttkyay Taw Pyay, Koe Bwe Ra, and the pagodas in Mingalardon were built by King Lu Lay. This place is one of them. And this pagoda was started to build in 2000.

Starting to build the pagoda in 2000, and it was completely crowned with umbrella in 2004. The height of the pagoda is about 90 feet. So, it was initiated to build the pagoda in 2000. Therefore, it is just aged a bit over 23 years now.

But it is said that the pagoda compound was demarcated as the religious compound since the time of King Lu Lay. This is thus the historical landmark. Well, we are going to look in the pagoda. This is the standing Buddha image built as the replica of Ananda in Yorkkaw Temple.

This image is similarly built like the image in Ananda. The image artwork is quite sublime. And really look alive. That kind of image is located at each gate of east, south and west. So let’s walk around the outer passageway of the temple.

This is the passageway in front of Yay San Kyun Nat image inside the temple. As the ceiling of this temple is really high, and the images are built as the replica of Ananda in Bagan, we can feel like visiting around Ananda.

Then, here is the brief history of life story of the venerable monk as well Yorkkaw Aphay Gyi. And the venerable was born on Friday of fourth of Tapotwe waning day, 1302 Myanmar era. And it is said that the venerable monk was born in the bomb shelter during the second world war.

The childhood name of the venerable monk is Maung Hpone San. He is also known as Maung Thein Han as well Maung Hpone San. Then, the venerable monk is the eldest son among five siblings. When he becomes a monk, the venerable monk appellation is U Sattama Seik Di.

But he decided to be in human life from the monk hood to do the propagation and the occult, and becomes a layperson again in front of Shwe Kyin venerable monk. Here is the brief life history description of the venerable monk. Moreover, there is also a painting of Yogi life.

The Buddha images are built around the four gates of pagoda as I mentioned first. Here is one Buddha image. This image is the replica of the image in Ananda. This place is really tranquil. We are in the inner passage ways. As the cleaning and up-keeping organization do the maintaining works well,

The inner passage way of the pagoda is really dirt-free on the floor. As the pagoda ceiling is pretty elevated, echo occurs whenever people talk. Really like in the out of the city The feeling is like visiting around Ananda Temple. The hand gestures of four Buddha images at four gates are

The images are well carved with the specific hand gestures. As the pagoda is really tranquil and serene, this place is really perfect to meditate and make a vow. And then, making a vow here is really fulfilled. The pagoda is also a wish-fulfilled pagoda.

Then, Aba here names this land as Kan Taw Pwint Gone (fortuitous hillock). As making a vow comes true, and fortuitous on this hillock, Kan Taw Pwint is named. Now we are going to pray Yay San Kyun Nat image (Up-streamed Black Teak image).

As I mentioned before, this is Yay San Kyun Nat image built by Yorkkaw Aphay Gyi with a vow due to his dream. To talk about the Yay San Kyun Nat image, the history of Yay San Kyun Nat image relates to King Mohnyin.

When King Mohnyin left to the battle field, it was the time King Mohnyin was not a king yet. The king-to-be of Mohnyin took the shelter beneath the black teak tree for a while. Whenever he went to or came back from the battle field, he always took a rest beneath the tree.

In the another way, he took the shelter of the tree. He made a vow to the tree where he rested for. That is to place the black teak log as the main pillar in the palace after well-carving when he becomes the King in Mohnyin. And he went to the battle field.

After that, he became the king of Mohnyin as he vowed. When he became the king of Mohnyin, and asked his men to cut the black teak tree to use as a main pillar in palace, his followers can not perform to cut the tree.

When it had happened, the king decided not to fell the tree. As the tree did not fall down, he went back to the palace. As they could not cut the tree, the king gave up to cut the tree although he kept his promise to the tree.

As the tree did not fall down, they went back to the palace. At that time, the tree suddenly fell down and drifted down along the Ayeyarwaddy river. The log of the tree drifted along the river, and when the time goes on, that teak log stopped along side of the dock in Mandalay.

The odd job men at the dock brought and cut the logs in six feet, and sold them. They did not know that log is a kind of the black teak. They also did not realize that as Yay San Kyun Nat (upstreamed black teak). That teak log upstreamed the river.

The workers sold that log to the woodcarving shop with the small knowledge. The workers at the woodcarving workshop which pursued the log had to face the death one after one. So, the owner of the woodcarving shop went to and asked the fortune teller about that case,

And became to know the reason of the Yan San Kyun Nat (upstreamed black teak). When he knew about it, he planned to throw the upstreamed black teak log away. At that time, Yorkkaw Aphay Gyi dreamed of it, and was looking for that. Unexpectedly, he arrived to that woodcarving workshop.

When he was there, he revealed his desire to buy the teak log. The owner immediately offered not to buy, and requested to bring quickly that teak log as soon as possible. Therefore, Yorkkaw Aphay Gyi brought, and asked to carve the teak log in another woodcarving shop.

This is the Yay San Kyun Nat image that brought by Yorkkaw Aphay Gyi. That Yay San Kyun Nat image was carved according to the dream of Yorkkaw Aphay Gyi. The life-span of Yay San Kyun Nat image is about 700 years as it was cut in the time of King Mohnyin.

And the pagoda was successful to build without receiving any cash donation. And other pagodas in this compound were built without cash donation. That hillock was vowed as the hillock not to receive the donation. The contributions for donations come to donate of their own accord.

This Yay San Kyun Nat image is a real fulfilled paogda. And the another significance is the image is placed on the lotus shaped throne. A frog statue beneath the lotus throne with the magical scheme is managed to be placed

By Yorkkaw Aphay Gyi and the current responsible person as well as his closed pupil like a son, Aba U Thein Zaw. Therefore, this pagoda is fulfilled in making a vow. It is well known for being fortuitous by visiting to pray this pagoda. This is also wishful in making a vow.

The pagoda does not receive the cash donation. No donation counter There is no donation receiving department. If the contributors want to participate in donation at this pagoda, they can directly discuss with Aba U Thein Zaw what they would love to

To build the pagoda or images, or to carve the image or build the devotional hall. It is strange. The pagoda is specified not to receive the cash donation that was laid the rule by Aba making a vow. This image is carved as the monk life of Yorkkaw Aphay Gyi.

We are going to ask the pagoda history and the history of Yorkkaw Aphay Gyi to Mahar Gandāri Adeik Htan Pārami Shin U Thein Zaw. Please, come along with me. This is Aba U Thein Zaw who lives in Yorkkaw Pagoda.

He is a closed pupil like a son of Yorkkaw Aphay Gyi since his present days. It is time to ask Aba U Thein Zaw about the brief history and the significance of the pagoda.

Aba, please mention about the brief history how the pagoda was built, and the significance facts why the pagoda is fulfilled in making a vow. This hillock was transformed by Mahar Gandāri Yorkkaw Aphay Gyi also known as Mahar Gandāri Yorkkaw venerable monk U Sattama Saikdi due to his dream. Yes, Aba.

To talk about this hillock, King Okkalapa built Shwedagon Pagoda. Yes! King Ottara Sāra known as King Lu Lay who is son of King Okkalapa originally built this hillock. Yes! The name of the pagoda is Zeya Muni. Yes! But as the whole pagoda was collapsed,

The venerable monk Yorkkaw got a dream of to refurbish the hillock. That is his dream to begin of an undertaking the ground. According to his dream, he established firmly to drive in a stake in April, 2000. Yes! The ceremony of driving the stake took place on second of June in 2000. Yes!

The original donor of the pagoda is King Ottara Sāra, aslo known as King Lu Lay. The current donor is U Khin Maung Zaw and his family. Aww… They built the pagoda. The dream is related to the history. The dream of Yorkkaw venerable monk was about the hillock over 2500 years ago. Aww… Yes!

It was known as Htun Pyun Gone (land of the reversed moving harrow). This land could not be harrowed. The harrow reversely moved to the home. As the farmers dared not to continue, they just went back home.

Therefore, this land is known as with four names such as Htun Pyun Gone, Mwei Bwei Gone, Nagar Gone and Kalar Gone. Aww… Yes! As Yakkan Sin Taung venerable monk U Sattama Seikdi, also known as Yorkkaw Aphay Gyi did not like the name of Htun Pyun Gone,

It was changed to Mahar Kan Taw Pwint Gone (Great fortuitous hillock) in 2000. Aww… Yes! The appellation of the pagoda, Zeya Muni was not changed. Aww… Yes! “Zeya” carries the meaning of “the perfect completion”, and “muni” means “the pagoda”. Aww… Yes! Thus, the name originally remains.

After we made the vow, and performed to undertake for 45 days, the donors suddenly come to build the pagoda on forty third of 45 days. U Khin Maung Zaw and his family are the founder of the pagoda. They built the pagoda for two and half years. It was started to build in 2000.

It was completely finished in 2003. The ceremony of umbrella hoisting on 26, December, 2004 at the time of Tsunami. Aww… It is the beginning of the pagoda history. The total land area of the pagoda is about 5.5 acres or almost 6 acres.

Then, one hundred thousands of Celyon ironwood (Mesua Ferra) plants are started to plant. One hundred thousands of Celyon ironwood plants As the future Buddha, Arimittara Buddha will attain Enlightenment beneath the Celyon ironwood tree, one hundred thousands of Celyon ironwood plants

The venerable monk made a vow to build the stone Buddha image at each plant of one hundred thousand Celyon ironwood plants. Yes! Therefore, the images that were built with his vow are now almost 300 trees. Aww… In 2003, Yorkkaw Aphay Gyi dreamed of Yay San Kyun Nat again. Yes!

The dream is about to get the Yay San Kyun Nat log (upstreamed black teak log) that is over 800 years since King Mohnyin of Innwa period. He decided to carve in image after getting the black teak log, and to move the image for residing on this hillock.

Yay San Kyun Nat image (Upstreamed black teak carving image) was begun to carve in 2003. Aww… The image was finished in carving after a month in 2003. When the image was completely carved, it gave a dream again to reside on this hillock. The image was brought to this hillock in 2006. Aww…

Yay San Kyun Nat (Upstreamed black teak) Yay San Kyun Nat image can really make the devotees auspicious and charming. Actually, the image is really versatile for the magical power. Yes! The worldly affairs and obligations can be completed making the vow at the image. Yes!

As the pagoda is fulfilled in wish whatever the devotees make a vow, it is known as Mahar Kan Taw Pwint Gone and Zeya Muni, and realated to the Yay San Kyun Nat image. According to the relations of the former lives, the hillock becomes the one to be propagated.

So, it has been 23 years. Aba, the day of the venerable monk’s demise is On 21, January in 2012 Aww… The venerable passed away on that day. He chose the way of escape for the attainment of supernatural powers to transform the body which is visible.

His remaining body resides at Naga Mauk Mountain on the road from Mandalay to Mogok still now. Aww… His body remains as the stone without decomposing. Aww… Yes! The devotees can go and pray there. Yes, Aba.

The pagoda that was built by King Mohnyin in Kachin state is 162 feet (9 taung, Myanmar Measurement Unit). The history of this black teak and King Mohnyin is about that King Mohnyin came to take shelter beneath it whenever he went to the battle field before he is a king.

He took the rest beneath the tree on the way to the battle field, and made a promise to pay the gratitude back. Yes! To say shortly, King Mohnyin became a king one day. Once he became a king, he came to cut the tree together with his followers.

The whole trunk of the tree was cut with the saw, and pulled down with the rope. But the tree did not fall down. When it had happened so, king said Brahmins to check the reason. He realized that the guardian spirit occupied and protected the tree.

Brahmins also informed that the guardian spirit is protecting the tree. The guardian spirit did not want to follow to the palace. Therefore, king broke the promise to bring the tree to the palace. So, at the 100 feet distance to return the palace from the tree after showing his promise,

The tree automatically fell down from the cutting point. As the tree location is closed to the Ayeyarwaddy river, it thus fell down to the river, and the king found the tree is up streaming when he took a look back. The tree up streamed and did not down stream. Aww…

The king remarked the tree as the up streamed teak wood. So, when he looked back the stump of the tree, he found out that the teak wood is black in the root. Aww… The upstreamed black teak He regarded it as the rare occult material. Yes!

Some said as a hidden treasure of the celestial beings because of the black teak wood. The king built 162 feet high pagoda enshrined the stump of the tree with the bricks. That pagoda can be prayed in Mohnyin still now. Aww… That is the donation of King Mohnyin. Yes!

The pagoda is already 800 years since Innwa period. Yes! Over 800 years As the black teak wood arrived at Minwun dock in Mandalay in 2003, people cut that wood into logs with a thought of Burmese black wood. And they sold them in the woodcarving shop at Mahar Myat Muni pagoda.

After two days of pursuing the wood, a worker at woodcarving shop unexpectedly died. After next two days of pursuing the wood, a worker at woodcarving shop unexpectedly died. So the owner went to the astrologer and had a suggestion to abandon or donate that kind of wood quickly.

The venerable monk Yorkkaw got a dream of, and was asked to inquiry at the woodcarving shop. He knew that the strange and magical occult thing is occupied by the woodcarving shop. After inquiry, the owner said he will receive neither the net amount nor the profit. He just requested to carry the log quickly.

So, they had to rent the truck to carry the log. The renting fee is 60,000 Myanmar kyats on these days. So, they brought it to the Naga Mauk Mountain. When the log arrives to the mount, the venerable monk sprayed with perfume, and recited Patthan.

He mentioned the log in his dream corresponds with this log. And he explained all about his dream concerning with the time of King Mohnyin. And he revealed he was told all about in the dream. The dream is King Mohnyin usually took the shelter beneath the tree on the way to battle field.

Next day, the monk brought two professional sculptors from Thanpawadi in Mandalay. The carving size is noted to be 5 feet and 4 inches. The height of Yay San Kyun Nat image is 5 feet and 4 inches. Yes! The number is divisible by nine.

As total number of the number identification of 2 for Kyun and 7 for Nat is 9 which is divisible by nine, the sculptors asked 500,000 Kyats to carve the wood. The venerable said he will give twice, ask two sculptors to carve what he said. After agreement, the monk gave 1,000,000 Kyat.

After a month, Yay San Kyun Nat comes to the shape in auspicious and sublime image. Then, the rubies are put in the eyes. Aww… Yes! The mouth is made of the mineral thunderbolt. Aww… The nails are inserted with the mercury. Aww… And the precious stones from Mogok are embedded. Aww…

Salwe which is a shoulder belt formed with the metal chains are embedded with the precious stone. And the robe is gilded with the gold. He decided to keep the face, hands and feet as the original wood. Yes! And, Aba, the frog statues behind the Buddha image are

These are …. Yorkkaw Aphay Gyi asked me whether if I hear the phrase “frog under the lotus”. I answered “Yes”. The frogs under the lotus leaves do not get the lotus smell. The bees far away come to collect the pollen from the lotus.

In another way, as the frog statue is carved as a guardian, making a vow at the frog statue is fulfilled in wish. Yes! Aba, is this pagoda new? Do you pay for that to build the pagoda? There are three main pagodas that I donated on this hillock. Yes!

The number one is Ananda Gone Yi Law Ka Htake Pan Pagoda built in 2010. The depicting scene inside the pagoda is Buddha first preaching sermon, Dhamma Sakkyā. Aww… Yes! Dhamma Sakkyā scene As a second, the replica image in sitting position of Kamākura in Japan was built in 2018.

The height of sitting Buddha image is 30 feet. Aww… Yes! The next one is Bawgavadi Golden Pagoda built on the full moon day of Thadingyut in 2023. Aww… Yes! The pagoda is named as Bawgavadi due to build on the Nagar hillock. It is intended to show gratitude to dragons.

Three pagodas were constructed including Bawgavadi Golden Pagoda. Three pagodas were constructed. And I heard about the hillock did not receive the donation. Absolutely! To explain shortly, Yorkkaw venerable monk discussed with me to place the donation counter, and to receive the donation.

When he said so, I did not agree with that at that time. He asked for the reason, and would allow if the reason is acceptable. Yes! I explained that I will make a vow on this hillock not to receive the donation. Starting from that time on, the donor of Zeya Muni Pagoda,

U Khin Maung and his family showed their enthusiastic contribution to build the pagoda. Yes, Aba! Since that time, Yorkkaw venerable monk mentioned me that I am not for the appellation of Mahar Gandāri. He regarded me as Mahar Gandāri Adeik Htan Pāramī Shin Aba U Thein Zaw. He gave the name to me.

He titled me as Mahar Gandāri Adeik Htan Pāramī Shin Aba U Thein Zaw. I said to continue making a vow. The vow is about I would love to propagate on this hillock without receiving the cash donation. Aww… Yes! The hillock that does not receive the cash donation

There is another hillock named as Thet Thet Lut Gone (Vegetarian hillock). There is the donation counter on that hillock. There are no donation counter here and receipt. We do not force the devotees to donate by loud speaker.

The relations of the devotees’ previous lives came up to donate to build the pagoda of their own accord. So the hillock without receiving the cash donation becomes famous. Therefore, the venerable monk allowed my desire to carry on making the vow not to receive the cash donation.

The hillock that does not receive the cash donation So, were these pagodas built by the donors themselves without giving the cash to you? The donors managed to build the pagoda of their own accord. Aww… They just come to me to discuss about what they would love to build.

They want to build the devotional hall, and the rest house for single Yogi. They want to build 1,000 Buddha images. Now the reclining Buddha image is still building. They just arrange everything to buy. The donors only requested me to manage and administrate. We did not force the donors for contribution. Aww… Yes!

That is so. There will be the temple construction very soon. The temple is going to be built with cave on 100 feet wide land and 60 feet high. The dragon statues inside The image in the cave is in the reclining position with 27 feet long.

The dragon statues are structured in a form of paying homage to the image. It will take time. There will be the man made waterfall and stream in the cave. The construction is well-planned to be like the one in Chiang Mai. Yes, Aba! I really appreciate for your detailed and well explanation. Definitely!

So, what do you want to deliver the words to the devotees? If the pilgrims will come to pray, I would love to inform that the 2000 year aged pagoda, Zeya Muni built by King Lu Lay, also known as King Ottasāra, son of King Okkalapa

And the residing Yay San Kyun Nat image over 800 years ago inside the pagoda are fulfilled in worldly and lordly cases. Yes, Aba! I deeply express my appreciation to you for explanation. This is the pagoda that was built by Adaik Htan Shin Aba situated at the western gate of the main pagoda.

Law Ka Sarahpu Pagoda is just over there. It can be visible when we come out from the western gate. And here is wish-fulfilled pagoda known as Yadanar Win Pagoda arranged with the vow of Aba. There is the special place to worship beside the pagoda.

And here is the Shwe Pagoda in 9 taung (162 ft). Here is the Shwe Pagoda in 9 taung (162 ft). Then, there is Yāzar Sulā Muni Pagoda. Seeing the pagodas with the tree background view makes me looking at the pagodas in Bagan.

And the pagoda architect here looks similar to the one in Bagan. Moreover, there are so many pagodas over there. Some pagodas are built by Aba on his own accountant. If the donors come to make a vow, they come to build the pagodas when their vow comes true.

Moreover, as Aba mentioned before, the images with one thousand Bodi trees are constructed there in this compound. The images with one thousand Bodi trees are constructed there in this compound. As Aba mentioned before, here is Bawgavadi Pagoda. There are so many pagodas along that way.

Kamākura image that was built by Aba is over there. Then Shin Uppagutta lake and Naga Yone Pagoda are here. And the reclining Buddha image that was recently finished is just there. The precinct front of the reclining Buddha image is still building. The reclining Buddha image is just finished one month ago.

According to the instructions of Yorkkaw Aphay Gyi, as he desired to be similar all pagodas like the ones in Bagan, all pagodas and buildings are the same like the ones in Bagan. There are so many pagodas there. These are the lake and pagoda of Naga Yone.

These are the stone images with one hundred thousand Ceylon Ironwood plants that Aba said before. That is the reclining Buddha image that was finished one month ago. That is the reclining Buddha image. Even the precinct is still constructing. The view of the pagodas behind the reclining Buddha image is really sublime.

That place is really spectacular to do the photo shooting. And that side is able to see Kamākura Buddha image. Then, there are also the pagodas at that side. These places are well arranged to plant 1000 Celyon ironwood plants with the stone images that Aba mentioned before.

Aba said there would be about 1000 Buddha images around the pagoda precinct. These places are ahead of arrangement to plant 1000 Ceylon ironwood. It is really sublime with so many Buddha images along the passage way. The view makes as if we are out of city. The surrounding area is pretty tranquil and peaceful.

The stone images at both sides of the passage way make sublime. This is the replica image of Kamākura in Japan that was built by Aba in the pagoda compound. These pagodas are also the replica of the pagodas in Bagan. They are built in almost similar architect.

So, the replica of Buddha Gaya in India can be worshipped here. This is Lawka Oakshung Pagoda in the pagoda. This pagoda is built as a replica of pagoda in India. This is Aung Taw Mu pagoda donated by people under the auspices of Mahar Gandāri Adaik Htan Pārami Shin U Thein Zaw.

Then, Shin Uppagutta lake (lake for the protector in the sea) is next to Aung Taw Mu pagoda. As the passage way to the Shin Uppagutta shrine is a little bit low, the water is already inside. We can not go in. We can only pray from here. And Bodi tree is near the lake.

Bodi tree is here. People can pour the water offering at Bodi tree on the full moon day of Kasone. And Shin Uppagutta can be prayed from here. This is Mingalar Yan Aung shrine.

The statues of Bo Bo Aung and Aba Bo Min Khaung who never died, but remain on earth to wait for coming next Buddha are placed inside. Let’s go inside. All prominent weizza statues can be worshipped in this hall.

Here are the statues of San Shal monk (Monk with long hair), and Yakkan Sin Taung venerable monk. And this antique chair may be donated here. It is really made in the old days. Antique chair The feet of the chair are carved as the feet of a bird. It is rarely to see.

There are also not so many types of this chair. And here is the couch. It might be the antique, too. And here is Aba Bo Min Khaung statue. The venerable monk Bamae statue is also placed here to be able to worshipped at the same place.

Then the whole hall is supported with only one pillar as the central pillar. The words “Sa Da Va Wa” are inscribed on the face of the pillar. The devotees can come here to make a vow. This is Kone Taw Shin shrine. Kone Taw Shin in this shrine protects this hillock.

This is the shrine of Naga Rahta Dragon goddess in the pagoda compound. This shrine is for Theikdi Shin. The statues of Aba Bo Bo Aung and Bo Min Khaung are displaced in this Seikdi Shin shrine.

In front of these shrines, Naga goddess and Seikdi Shin, the car parking is located at the eastern gate of the pagoda. The cars can park here. Moreover here is the devotional hall known as Hsu Taung Pyae Pagoda. Aba lives in that hall.

The hall where Aba who is currently in charge of maintanence and also known as Seik Di Shin lives there This is the dinning hall. Guanyin statue is located at the left side of eastern gate of the pagoda. And there is a pagoda. This is the community hall in the pagoda compound.

If there will be the preaching events during the lent period, or the donation, offering the food to the monks is held in this community hall. Our vlog of Zeya Muni Pagoda and Yay San Kyun Nat image has been presented here. As we are going to present more and more vlogs,
