スコットランドに行くなら絶対行くべき！ハイランド地方！/ 海外旅行Vlog

The third day in Scotland. We are heading to the highlands. The first destination is Fort William, the town near Ben Nevis which is the highest mountain in the UK It’s nice to drive through mountains and beautiful nature. We stopped by to enjoy the scenery too.

We are in Fort William! Let’s walk around and see the town. It seems that this is the high street. There are many outdoor shops because many people come here for hiking. Having lunch here, The Crofter. My first tea in the UK. Fish & Chips and Soup od Today. Beef & mushroom pie.

I’m gonna try the pie first. Tastes so good! The beef is stewed so well and tastes good. Fish & chips are crispy. The food was all good and it was a nice local pub. It’s nice to have this good weather. We can barely see Ben Nevis over the mountains in front.

Is that Ben Nevis? We can’t really see because of the clouds. But I guess the mountain we see behind the clouds is a part of Ben Nevis. This is Urquhart Castle and Loch Ness. That’s cute. Rubber Nessie Highlands cow is so cute! That one looks less like Highlands Cow.

This is more like Highlands Cow. Coop in Scotland looks different from England. It’s interesting to see the difference. Let’s get some Scottish souvenirs. This looks tasty. Lemon drizzle cookies. Why the packages of Scottish snacks are all designed well? Someone said it because they have good designers in Scotland.

This one is milk chocolate and the blue one is dark chocolate. Nice packages again. I prefer the red design but the blue one is more Scottish. And this is the famous Scottish sweets. Wow, Coop in Scotland has hot snacks?! Never seen this in England. Look! They have scotch eggs and pies.

And Highland cows! Here is where we are staying. Big bed. Nice room. Looks like a lodge. So glad that they’ve got these for us. I wanted to try this. – And hot chocolate! – We need marshmallows now. Let’s go explore the lobby!

And of course, we have tea as well. Seems like they like Brodies drinks. Pictures of highland cows. This is the common room. They’ve got a microwave, fridge, You can have fruit juice, and yoghurt as much as you want. This is the lobby. There is a proper fireplace and firewood.

We have a variety of self-breakfasts too. This is the bathroom. This is not bad at all. Looks new. A shower room is here. Let’s check the water pressure. Oh it’s good. Water pressure, check! Nessie shaped Walkers shortbread. This Nessie ornament is cute. I’m gonna try this.

It has marshmallows inside. Omg, this tastes so good. It looks like this. The marshmallows are so fluffy. Is this the centre of Fort Augustus? There are boats for the Loch Nessie cruise. So beautiful! This is the Loch Ness!! So quiet! The morning glow is making the sky beautifully pink. The Nessie boat!

We are leaving Loch Ness and now going to Cairngorms National Park. We are going to see reindeer herds and take a walking tour. Here we are. People who join the tour are showing up. There is a snowy mountain over there. – That’s cool. – The mountain on the right is snowy too.

Wow, it’s a lake beach. We can see the snowy mountain from here too. Is it cooked? – Oh, be careful. – Don’t lose our main dish. I think it’s ready. It tastes so good to have curry by the lake. This is the hotel we are staying tonight. So warm.

This hotel has a big indoor pool and sauna. Seems a nice place to stay for families. There is a VR game. – Doesn’t this remind us of hotels in the countryside in Japan? – Apparently it’s common across the world that hotels in the countryside have gaming areas. There is a closet.

This room is more than enough. The beds are double beds. Let’s check the water pressure. Let’s goooooo This is great! Water pressure, check. We have Walkers shortbread. Four of them! And Nescafe coffee.

– I’ve got a light bite meal but it’s big enough. – It’s a good price for a meal with a drink. The fish is so soft. Looks good. Yeah tastes good. The batter is crispy and the fish is so soft. This tastes really good. We chose the right place.

Sorry, I said it’s just a chippy place. Fifth day in Scotland. We are going to the Balmoral Castle which is known as a place where the Queen spent summer time every year. Look, this is a limited edition of Paddington bear with a scarf with the Balmoral Castle logo.

今回のスコットランド旅はエディンバラとグラスゴーはもちろんですが、ハイランドに行ってみたい！と思っていたので中三日間はハイランドで過ごしました。自然豊かで美しく、ベンネヴィスの麓にある町、フォートウィリアムから始まり、ネッシーで有名なネス湖の朝焼け、トナカイやハイランドカウとの触れ合い、女王が愛した避暑地バルモラル城など、都心の旅行では味わえない楽しみ方がありました。せっかくスコットランドまで行く機会があるなら、少し足を伸ばしてハイランド地方へ行くのもおすすめです。
