Kurashiki Historical Quarter Tour in Japan | Canal and Ivy

This is a place called Kurashiki Bikan District in Kurashiki, Japan. It’s winter right now, so there aren’t that many people, but it’s a place with beautiful scenery, so people keep coming. I have been here 4 years ago and this is my second visit.

When I came here before, it was in spring and the trees were green, but now winter feels somewhat calm. This is a street with delicious-looking meals, tea, and coffee. You can see traditional Japanese houses. A coffee shop in this neighborhood that is famous for its siphon coffee, coffee made with an alcohol lamp,

Has its main branch here in Kurashiki. Eating that coffee is one of the reasons I came here, and the artificial canal nearby is also very beautiful. It felt more beautiful than the canal I saw in Amsterdam, Netherlands. There was also a park here with buildings covered in ivy.

I’ll go to those places even though it’s winter. I will walk there and admire the nice streets on the way. It’s around 11 am right now, so it seems a little early. The house is made of wood. This seems to be a place to worship ancestors. During this trip to Japan,

I barely used cash and made all payments using my mobile phone. It was nice to travel conveniently. I only used cash at vending machines on the street and old restaurants. It felt different than before. The weather was good, not cold, and good for walking. It says that they sell happy pudding here .

The photos of the dishes and desserts are also pretty. It’s called cup udon. The croquette shop on the right must have won an award. My favorite, matcha. I think there is a park because there is a wall on the left. It’s Kurashiki Ivy Garden. I remembered coming here before.

Come spring, and the walls will be covered in green. It’s a rainbow piano. I remember when I came here before, many people were having a happy time in this square. Now, shall we go to the canal and coffee shop? They are making pretty character bread.

It’s a nice canal. The trees are nice too. Let’s walk along the canal. There are also rickshaws. You can also ride a wooden boat on the canal. I’m looking for a place to eat. Restaurants are gathered here. I ate lunch here. I liked the large glass window

That allowed me to look outside. There’s a cafe across the street that sells siphon coffee. Let’s go across. Here it is. They say it will be closed for a while because the remodeling facility is under construction. That’s too bad. Let’s see roughly what it looks like. I’ve tried it several times

At the branch in Japan, so I don’t necessarily have to try it at the main branch.. But somehow the scenery calls for coffee… it’s a flower that blooms in winter. There is an old cafe. Come take a trip here~ It’s a wonderful tree. Sugoi~
