Today we are going to be exploring Bangkok for the very first time we’re going to be going around the city hopefully having delicious Thai food maybe having some local interactions we’ve been learning a little bit of basic Thai so like sawadee krap yep sawadee ka okay good good job Karolina so we’re

Going to be going around hopefully talking with the locals having a really kind of authentic experience here we are going to visit maybe one Temple but we’re not going to make this a temple video because there are amazing temples

To see here in Bangkok but we’re going to be trying to do things a little bit differently in this video okay guys we’re in a bit of a rush we’ve got the BTS Just behind us but we’re not going to be taking the BTS right now we’re

Actually going to be taking the tourist ferry that takes you to a lot of the stops along the river and we have 5 minutes yeah I think it’s coming so we have to be quick um you can see here you got the express boat and the tourist

Boat but actually we’re going to be taking the tourist boat because the tourist boat apparently drops you off at you can just go onto it pay one way and just pick where you want to go to like this for example and we’re heading to

Wat Arun but you can go to all of these different places amazing so I think we need to get ourselves a ticket before the ferry actually comes I don’t know do we pay on the assass uh C uh oneway tourist uh tickets one uh this way okay so tourist boat this

Way okay Pier two Pier two all right she emphasize Pier two tourist boat Pier two okay just follow you yeah just follow us yeah so um that was the more Local Express Boat I think and I can see the Tourist Boat coming so I think we’re going over here

Think this cost over 1 billion us to actually create this so we’re definitely going to check out our icon cam at one point um probably I think tomorrow evening yeah I can actually see all of these trucks which T here I think at the

In the evening time it lights up like a Christmas tree so it’s going to be so beautiful and cuz it’s getting close to Christmas I think there’s going to be very nice uh lights and decorations um one thing on the boat departing it

Actually departed at 10:02 so it does depart on time so try to make it a little bit earlier so you’re not kind of rushing like us but uh very straight forward 30 bucks I think the express one is something like 10 so a little bit more expensive cuz we’re

Climbing a few steps right now wow you can see there’s a lot of detail in this uh Temple it seems like you can see all the flowers there seems like the entire design is just all these flowers put together you like the flowers So Co like very nice right all of them are

Different and it’s so many details mhm so you can see they’re all tourists taking photos or a lot of them so we’re going to have to do a little bit of dodging we did try to come early I mean the earliest fa was 9 so

10’s not too bad I think but actually it’s the most recognizable landmark of Thailand so I’m not surprised I thought the is it the Grand Palace both yeah sometimes I get it confused is it the Golden Palace or is it the Grand Palace I think grand grand yeah cuz I

Think it looks gold that’s why I get confused but H you have to do a little bit of uh climbing and dodging of the tourists I think we can come around here yeah heard that in the background guys all right she was like excuse me

Don’t get in my photo but uh the all these people are wanting to take photos and I’m just like no I’m coming through hello I’m being a bit cheeky but um let’s uh I I recogn them speaking polish before you did

Yeah okay so I don’t know can we oh we can’t climb up there that’s a shame it looks very beautiful it looks kind of similar to um some of the temples Karolina in um in Yogjakarta yeah in Indonesia um the Hindu but this one is

More like colorful that was they were Hindu ones these are uh are these Buddhists I’m I’m pretty sure these are Buddhist temples they are a little bit different to Hindu ones in the kind of designs yeah but uh Buddhist and Hindu

Cultures and religions share a lot in common as you can see guys people are dressed up very beautifully and they are wanting to take photos got another group here on the right and here on the left so they’re wearing very beautiful dresses but

Uh I just heard someone but that was rather inappropriate for a temple but uh you got these steps here so having to do a lot of like kind of uh how to say it a lot of leg work like you’re in the gym but you can see everyone setting up

Their phones so fortunately you can’t go up here which would have been nice to kind of get more of the temple views but um this is known as the Temple of Dawn and you can see on the kind of base of the temple it’s like covered in this porcelain very beautiful kind of

Porcelain but I think we’re going to get out of here guys because very beautiful but the tourists can get a little bit frustrated with all the photos but we are in a kind of tourist place so and people are staring me while I’m uh

Saying that there’s too many people taking photos so we are leaving Wat Arun now don’t get me wrong guys I don’t mind like at tourist places obviously taking photos you know for Instagram that’s not the problem for me

And I know a lot in the comments were going to be people saying like you’re at a tourist place you know people are going to be taking pictures but it’s more when it’s like it feels like 100 people are taking a fashion shoe and you

Can’t even enjoy the temple um it feels like uh hello just people are this is the pier but uh I love uh when people are uh just like surprised by the camera and they just look at you they just turn around like

But um I don’t know what it is but like when people are just taking like fashion shoots and there’s H hundred of them you just lose the kind of feeling of the temple it kind of feels like people are just going there to take nice pictures

To show off to other people and of course we like to take pictures we have an Instagram but we’re not going around like taking crazy numbers of photos meanwhile karolina’s taking a photo but that’s okay right what do you think about it like maybe is it am I wrong here or I think

That like now tourism is taken to another level and like people really want to get the perfect shot and uh it happened to me like three times over there that like I was in the shot and people were like oh can you move yeah

Like they’ like oh excuse me or like move out the way like kind of basically telling you to they want to take that picture and you’re in the way and they could say it in a bit more of a polite way but anyways we’re off to our next

Place we’re Again by the pier we’re going to be taking a ferry uh somewhere around here I think we can go across to a ferry it’s very nice here the uh kind of statue but we’re going to be heading again to the water to take a ferry to

Chinatown okay guys so we haven’t technically left what Aon because I feel like we’ve missed out maybe an important detail go uh through the end here we actually um met some uh some people on the ferry and very nice guys from Canada uh two Indian descent traps that’s the best way

To put it and uh they said that it was very beautiful on the side so Carolina is being the tourist yeah but uh you can see it actually it’s very nice we walked through there I love the the colorful design on the roof over there actually

You have some very beautiful statues just along the ground here amazing carving where calm here as well yeah it’s uh starting to rain a little bit so it’s kind of kind of refreshing actually it’s quite nice but I go yeah let’s go inside take our shoes off let’s just

Uh do that have a little walk up see again photo shoots look at it’s very beautiful I love the kind of gold design amazing don’t know if we can take photos but I think it should be fine people are taking photos inside wow a very big Buddha some people are praying over

Here see interior here is super interesting you got these kind of like chandeliers you got the Buddha just over there wow I’m glad we uh bumped into them guys so thank you to H and Amit yes Amit right let’s uh head outside count so nice so this is the outside of

The temple there is a bit of construction happening in the background on uh this side just over here which uh kind of disturbs the piece but I’m glad we came to this place very beautiful I was not

You have literally surrounded by people and you got kind of interesting building here people selling all sorts of things absolutely anything you want you can probably get in Chinatown but we’ve spotted this uh sugar cane lady I can

See people drinking it with like uh like a plastic cup but you can also get it in a glass bottle so I always like my drinks in a glass bottle cuz I feel like the taste is just better right sugar can FL C uh sugar cane uh in the in the bottle

Yes uh yes yes yes yes yes you see there guys she’s got the sugar G there beautiful uh Tao Rai 15 uh 15 okay 15 s cup so the bottle we give you back okay recy to eat here yeah oh just

Like a hub for like Commerce they’re selling a lot of things uh for the general kind of household but also for businesses and it’s like um we don’t really need anything from these stols we’re not here for the shop we’re here

Order and then when we sat down he actually went to a shop to buy us uh two bottles of waters right he says oh I don’t know if the water you can uh drink like in the if you go to like a roadside place um my friend Ellis WRR who does a

Lot of videos in Thailand said that you can actually just drink the water cuz a lot of it’s filtered um so I think it’s fine but he bought us some drinks that was very nice of him and you can see this is whereabouts are we Carolina

Chinatown yeah I know we’re in Chinatown massive okay yeah it’s absolutely bangkok’s so big it’s kind of hard to figure out like how to plan some times day trips because it’s just so big and so much to see we’re literally in the

Heart of Chinatown all right so I feel like we need to find some kind of snacks yes let’s just walk around what’s the what’s the mission right now to find some snacks but I think that actually it’s uh very Lively

In the evenings usually maybe Chinatown like during the day it’s quite quiet so let’s just walk okay you’re the boss you can lead us to the food so this is the situation here in Chinatown motor bikes like that and you can get some bananas hello hello banana

One we still have quite a few to go it’s just it’s incredible I love that they use like orange for the roofs but like gold for a large part of the uh the temples you can see there’s just Gold Everywhere gives it kind of a royal Majestic feel to to the

Temples and I don’t know who this this is like I’m assuming this is the con do you think this is the king um we haven’t done enough research on this but let us know who who this chap is I think he might be the um the king looks like

See very high you’ve got the complete opposite the contrast is is just so incredible so over here you’ve got this wooden house that looks like someone’s still living there and you can see there’s some clothes just over here

And it looks like it’s kind of crumbling and then on the right side you’ve got beautiful uh Temple M interesting contrast yeah and I also wonder like um why there’s so many cars parked up here maybe it’s a free parking uh yeah I

Don’t think all the people are inside of the temple but you never know school next to the temple like pink tuxies Carolina’s caught Carolina’s attention recently but the Oh Carolina there’s people actually living uh to this Temple yeah the amazing thing is that this Temple is actually located in

Just the city well just in like the heart of Chinatown and there’s no one here like it’s super beautiful like what AR own was beautiful but this just has the charmly beautiful and it’s the quietness the peacefulness there’s no

One around it feels like you can really take him um take him the place we’re going to head inside of this Temple and see how different it is to previous one what Aon again we leave our shoes over here karolina still have a little bit of

Completely brand new it gives it a kind of old retro vibe to the place this is going to be probably one of our longest videos we’ve ever filmed because there’s just so much to see and to do here in Bangkok we’ve been surprised so many

Times in this video and it’s so big Bangkok absolutely massive and we love it because there’s so many unique things to do and it’s nice to walk it’s it’s there’s great food people are friendly and it’s such a huge diversity and there H there’s diversity right and you can see
