EXPLORING HANOI | Best things to EAT, SEE and DO in VIETNAM’s capital 🇻🇳

This is what Obama ate when he was here a lot of police getters from different countries I think we saw this guy who provides cleaning services on the railway wow the coconut coffee and this is the egg coffee hello this is our first morning here in Hanoi we arrived last night

We only went out for a few minutes and it was a bit crazy hopefully during the morning is better we don’t have a big plan for today because since we have just arrived we have to change some money we have to buy SIM cards

And our rough plan for today would be to try the famous Vietnamese coffee the egg coffee and the famous bun me sandwich right now we are in front of our accommodation I will leave you the link in the description uh it’s so basic one is located in the Old Town

What I can tell you is that even though it’s comfortable and the room is okay it was a little noisy we woke up at 5 I think I don’t know if something happened or if it’s just a habit but yeah we didn’t have the best sleep but it’s fine woah

We are at the bank right now to withdraw some money this is our second try because the first time uh that ATM didn’t have money or something something went wrong 3 million here 3 million we are millionaires right now whoa these are satisfying so these are the offers for tourists

Who stay less than one month as we are and we bought the most most expensive one just one because we will share the internet Alex will be the hotspot while we were buying a SIM card it started raining one thing you should have in mind here is that motorbikes are usually stolen

So you have to be very careful with your belongings and with your scooter here we have the famous Barney sandwiches mine is with chicken and avocado and Alex’s is with pork they look crunchy it’s time now to try the famous Vietnamese coffees the egg coffee and the coconut one

And we found this place which is really cute because it has a small terrace and the funny thing is that you can watch the traffic and the people walking it can be really entertaining I’ll show you why this is what I’m talking about I’m not sure if they have any rules

Like maybe they don’t have rules or they have rules and they just disobey them I don’t know but it’s a very weird way of driving here so here we have the coffees this one is the coconut coffee and this is the egg coffee and you wouldn’t guess who will try first this one

This guy right here because I trust him hmm wow so the first one is the egg one this really creamy it smells like uh like yolk you know very good really but it’s very very sweet if you like sweet coffee this one is for you it doesn’t really taste like coffee though

It just tastes like milk with foam and with honey really nice and I have to try the coconut one as well I think this is ice cream hmm yum for a fan of coffee you really need to try the coffee here in Hanoi they have lots of different ones

But I really wanted to try these two because these are the most popular ones I honestly don’t know which one I like most at first I was thinking that maybe I would like the coconut one because I’m a really big fan of coconut but now I’m feeling that this

The egg one is also very interesting so I give them both uh 10 10 out of ten we took a nap and now we are ready to explore more of Hanoi and when I say explore I mean we are going to eat

Because we don’t have so much time and we want to taste all of the amazing dishes the city has to offer now we are going to a restaurant to try Buncha the restaurant is really famous because a few years ago the President Obama went to eat there

And also it has a lot of good reviews on Google it seems like it is a very delicious dish so we are excited and hungry hungry this is the menu and this is what Obama ate when he was here and this is what we are getting as well

Alex went to see the table upstairs that is the restaurant the first floor hello and this is the table where Barack Obama ate this is the Buncha and this one is the seafood spring roll we have here the Hanoi beers and now let’s figure out how to eat this cheers

Okay maybe she’s taking off I know I think you take the noodles if you can and then you put them here maybe and with some meat I don’t know okay so this is Buncha and inside it has grilled pork and I think that this soup is fish sauce or something made with fish

And it’s really good because it tastes like a grill with something sweet it combines very good with the noodles we haven’t tried this yet this is how the seafood drawer looks like it seems as it has some other meat in here or it’s mushrooms let’s see how it tastes

I think it has mushrooms inside it’s good crispy and it has sweets as you can see we enjoyed the food this is what it’s left nothing it was a really interesting experience to like trying new foods and this was really good we are finishing our adventure here in Hanoi with the Dream Street

A very famous landmark here in the capital city where we will probably have a coffee and just enjoy the views of the dream which will pass right here and we decided to sit here even though we’re not sure that any train will pass soon but we saw this guy who provides cleaning services

On the railway my shoes might need the cleaning but they can wait thank you even though we did not see the train passing because apparently during the weekdays it runs so late in the afternoon after seven PM we still enjoyed two hours at the table

Because it is a really cozy place to have a coffee and it was nice also we use this time to edit a bit the next vlogs so do not forget to subscribe to see what’s coming next from Romania but hello hello I don’t

We were walking to the hotel and we realized that here he’s a concert like a lot of police getters from different countries I think and they dance and sing we are waiting for the show to start sadly we couldn’t attend the show because the preparations were taking too long

And we have a bus to catch because tonight we are heading to Hazhong Group an area in the northern Vietnam with the amazing mountains and senary so stay with us after a lot of talking with them they took us to a place which is 7 km far from here

They talked with the owner on the phone at 4 a m though when they saw that they started crying and yay we made it at the top we are here I don’t even know where we are so if you have time and you can leave early from hajiang

Because this first day is amazing

Our favorite way to explore a new country is through its kitchen, so since we were short on time, our plan in Hanoi was to try the famous coffees and the traditional food, and just roam around the city.
We didn’t know what to expect of Vietnam’s capital, but it’s definitely a place like no other. I’m curious to know how you find it after you watch this video!
