On January 7, the Yokohama New Year’s Firefighting Ceremony, an annual New Year’s event, was held at the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse.
The New Year’s Firefighting Ceremony is held annually by the Yokohama Fire Department to raise public awareness of firefighting activities.
This year, the ceremony was held to raise awareness of disaster prevention among Yokohama citizens in the midst of the ongoing rescue and recovery efforts following the massive earthquake that hit the Noto Peninsula on New Year’s Day.
The event was divided into two parts, with the second part climaxing with the Yokohama Anpanman Children’s Museum Presents New Year Concert. Please enjoy the scene at the venue.
