京都与謝野町の道の駅シルクのまちかや・SLと地ビールとプリン【京都道の駅めぐり3日目②】S660ドライブ

We left the roadside station Nosho-no-Sato Yakuno. I’m not used to roundabouts. The next roadside station is Silk-no-Machikaya. It’s about a 40-minute drive from here. It’s 12 o’clock. If we started early, we would be able to get to Maizuru in the morning.

Let me tell you a little about the roadside station Nosho no Sato Yakuno. It was a roadside station that mainly sold vegetables. This is a recommended roadside station when you go to buy local vegetables. Snow plows are available to deal with snow.

Let’s return to the story of Roadside Station Nosho no Sato Yakuno. There was a hot spring facility at the roadside station Nosho no Sato Yakuno. I wanted to take a hot spring bath, but it seems that it is currently closed. It’s a roadside station in Yakuno Highlands, so you can enjoy a walk.

It was a nice roadside station to spend some relaxing time. The shops at the roadside station were not large. It is a roadside station where you can enjoy buying vegetables and taking a walk. There is Hana Azukikan, which manufactures Kintsuba. We also recommend going to buy kintsuba.

If the factory is in operation, you can also tour the factory. The sky on the right is blue… Clouds are spreading in the sky in front of me. The weather is a mix of sunshine and rain. I hope it clears up a little bit…

It doesn’t look like it’s going to clear up from now on. Today’s route is also guided by Maps/Navigation on my iPhone. I was also guided through the national highway, but… This time I chose the route that passes through the prefectural roads. I’m currently driving on a road I’ve never traveled before.

I get excited when I drive on a new road. The road I’m currently running on is Prefectural Route 63 in Kyoto Prefecture. From here it’s a mountain road. The autumn leaves are still beautiful. I would be happy if the sun shines even for a little while.

Here you will enter Toyooka City in Hyogo Prefecture. I think this road used to be narrow in the past. It is a road that feels like it is being widened. I was also prepared to drive on narrow roads. For now, it’s an easy road to follow.

The S660 is fun to drive on roads like this. The temperature is dropping. The weather has changed and it is raining. The road at the end is National Route 426. Turn right on National Route 426. At this point, you will turn off National Route 426. Head towards Prefectural Route 63.

It looks like the mountain pass road will continue from here. Continue to cross the mountain. This road also does not become narrow and continues as a one-lane road in each direction. I will now return to Fukuchiyama City in Kyoto Prefecture. From here, take National Route 176.

We are planning to arrive at the roadside station soon. If you come to the northern part of Kyoto Prefecture, the temperature will drop. The temperature outside is 5 degrees Celsius. Signs warning of frozen roads have increased. It’s dangerous to drive until midnight. From here is Yosano Town in Kyoto Prefecture.

There is a landing site for paragliders. It’s amazing how many people can do things like paragliding. I’m afraid of heights, so that’s not possible. If it wasn’t raining, the scenery would be beautiful. The signboard for the roadside station Silk Machikaya came into view. It’s about 2km from here.

We arrived at the roadside station Silk Machikaya. Although it was raining, I went to the roadside station Silk Machikaya. What I have purchased… There are many things that cannot be eaten right away. These shiitake mushrooms look delicious. You can’t eat it now. It should be very delicious if you bake it.

It was actually delicious when I baked it and ate it. Next, I bought ASOBI, a local beer in Yosano town, which uses hops produced in Yosano, and I will drink it after I get home. I ended up buying pudding after all. Caramel pudding from Adriano, Yosano Town. I’ll enjoy having this.

It’s a solid pudding. Pudding with a slightly more adult taste. There is a slight bitterness within the sweetness. This is such a flavorful pudding. Thank you for the meal. Next, I will go to the roadside station in Maizuru. This is a local beer that I bought at Michi-no-Eki Silk Machikaya

At home later . Yosano fresh hop beer ASOBI. This beer uses hops produced in Yosano Town. Let’s open it and take a look. Let’s pour some beer! We’ll have beer made with hops from Yosano Town. The scent is really nice. The bitterness is suppressed and the taste is refreshing.

There are many things to buy, such as vegetables, at the roadside station Silk Machikaya. If you like alcohol, we recommend the local beer ASOBI.
