In this walking tour, we have a look at one Japan’s most popular spots among tourist and locals to visit, and one of my personal favourites when visiting Osaka, Osaka Castle!
Osaka Castle is one of the most iconic castles in all of Japan being constructed in 1597 and being apart in many historic battles and seen as a major cultural icon throughout history.
The surrounding park area is often used as a running circuits for exercising or for the more intense marathons and trainings as each part of the park offers something new with many gates, cultural halls, shrines and statues, moats, turrets, seasonal trees, gardens and much more!
Osaka Castle is also a popular choice for many events, such as for wedding photos, cultural events and plays, photoshoots and acting pieces in TV and social media!
