【韓国旅行】景福宮・昌徳宮・北村韓屋村・仁寺洞カフェ|ミシュラン韓国料理

Hello~ it’s Miyu, and I’m traveling in South Korea☺ I’m currently in the capital, Seoul, and staying at a hostel in the Hongdae area. It’s about 7:40 in the morning right now. I woke up at about 7, got ready right away, and went out. Cafes in Korea are very popular,

And you may have to wait for 1-2 hours at popular cafes, so I try to go to popular cafes when they open. I arrived in Seoul yesterday and was sightseeing. Check out my other video about Dongdaemun and Gwangjang Market,!

The cafe I’m heading to now is located in an area about south between Gyeongbokgung Palace and Changdeokgung Palace. You can take the subway from Hongdae, but it’s cheaper to take a bus from my hostel, so I decided to take the bus. I arrived at the bus stop.

The bus stop looks like this. This time I’ll be taking bus number 273. It probably says it’s coming in 3 minutes! When boarding the bus, please be careful as you are not allowed to bring food or drinks that don’t have a lid with you! To ride the bus, use T-money (transportation IC card).

You can buy it for 4000W (about 400 yen) at the airport, and 3000W (about 300 yen) at a convenience store in town. Although it’s more expensive, there is also T-money with patterns of LINE Friends and K-pop stars. I got off at a bus stop called Jongno 3ga. Let’s walk to the cafe!

The bread I’ll eat at this cafe is steam-finished! I’ve never heard of it in Japan, so I definitely want to go there! I’m really looking forward to it☺ I noticed something while riding the bus earlier. You touch T-money when you get on the bus and when you get off the bus,

I found that locals had already taped T-money as soon as the bus started to run from the bus stop 1 before where they got off. Are you ok to take a seat in the corner? How do you say the corner in Japanese? “Kado” “Kado”? Is the corner seat OK?

Thank you! I will study. This is the menu. Right, left, back,… front? Please order at the front counter. thank you. good morning. I came out after eating the bread. The bread is really chewy and delicious. I think the basket isn’t just for Instagram photos,

It’s the fact that it’s warmed up in the basket that makes it so chewy. The plain taste was also slightly sweeter. It’s not super sweet, just a little sweet. It was my favorite flavor. I’ll check out cafes that renovated Hanok (traditional Korean house) in Insa-dong,

Then I’ll walk to Bukchon Hanok Village, another area with cute Hanok views. I’ve been walking around Bukchon Hanok Village for a while now. I was imagining hanoks lined up all along the north side of Anguk Station. I thought it was a town with a traditional atmosphere like Kyoto.

The entire area looks like a residential area, and it’s hard to find the photogenic places you see on Instagram or YouTube. If I find a picturesque place, I’ll put the address in the description 👇 I found a photogenic place! The area between Gyeongbokgung Palace and Changdeokgung Palace was beautiful.

When I went there between 10-11am, it was crowded with tourists, so it was impossible to take pictures without people😵 To take pictures without people, you need to come earlier! Now, Korean food for lunch! I wanted to come before people started to line up, but there’s already a line. I’ll get in line!

It was delicious! I just went to this place… the line is huge… the line was now three times as long as when I arrived! This restaurant mainly serves sujebi, a wonton-like dish. It has a Michelin star and seems to be very famous in Korea🌟

There are a lot of lines, but the rotation is extremely fast. When I entered, I was asked to order without being given a menu. I showed them the screenshot I had taken beforehand and ordered. When I was in the line, I got worried because there were only Korean people around me,

So while I was lining up, I looked up the menu, took a screenshot, and ran it through Google Translate. The translation into Japanese didn’t work, and when I translated it into English, it came up as “sujebi.” When I searched for what “sujebi” was, I found out that it was a wonton-like soup.

It opened at 11am, and I arrived 5-10 minutes early. I thought I wouldn’t be able to get into the first row, but many people came with families and groups of four or more, so one or two guests were shown to a small table in the first row!

I waited about 20-25 minutes. It wasn’t long before I ate, so it’s about 11:50 and I’ve already come out of the restaurant. Now, I’ll go to Gyeongbokgung Palace and Changdeokgung Palace (two of the four major palaces in Seoul)!

If you wear Hanbok to Gyeongbokgung Palace and Changdeokgung Palace, you can get free admission. It would be a good idea to wear a hanbok to go with the Hanok village I showed earlier🌟 First, I’m heading to Changdeokgung Palace, I’m now passing Samcheong Street. There are many ginkgo trees along this street,

And the autumn leaves will be beautiful in October and November🍂 However, at this time of year, Sometimes the ginkgo nuts are on the ground and stink, so be careful. I arrived at Changdeokgung Palace! It’s raining a little, but it’s not too heavy, so I’m going to walk around and look around.

I can only see the green area on the map, but it looks like you can enter through the gate on the southwest side of the area. Changdeokgung Palace is divided into a general area and the Secret Garden, and the normal area costs 3000W≒$2. Secret Garden costs additional 5000W ≒ $3.3.

You cannot enter the Secret Garden without making a tour reservation. Today’s tour was fully booked, so I’ll enjoy the general area! You can purchase admission tickets at the ticket office to the left of the gate. Currently, it’s a Chuseok holiday which is similar to Obon, and admission is free during Chuseok!

I’ll enter for free today! That’s all for Changdeokgung Palace. I’ll walk for about 20 minutes and head to another palace. The place I’m heading to now is Gyeongbokgung Palace. Currently, the preparation ceremony for the guard changing ceremony is going on. I arrived at Gyeongbokgung Palace! This is the main entrance gate!

It’s bigger than Changdeokgung Palace! ! I heard that there is a changing of the guard ceremony at 10:00 and 2:00 pm, but when I got here at around 1:30 pm, something similar to the changing of the guard had already started, so I thought the time had changed😵.

However, there was an announcement that said there would be a changing of the guard ceremony starting at 14:00. It seems like it was a preparatory ceremony, not the main changing of the guard ceremony. Where is the changing of the guard ceremony at 14:00? The entrance fee to Changdeokgung Palace

Can usually be paid for W3,000 (approximately 300 yen) at the ticket office on the right side of Gwanghwamun. Just like Changdeokgung Palace, it’s free during the Chuseok holiday! I entered for free this time ✌ For a limited time, you can see it lit up at night!

The Changing of the Guard Ceremony has been canceled 😱 It was raining only a bit just before, so I thought I was going to be fine, but it started to rain harder at 2:00 PM, and an announcement was made to cancel it at the last minute.

After about 20 minutes, the rain started to lighter, so I’ll quickly walk around and see Gyeongbokgung Palace to avoid getting wet. I noticed one thing. After the changing of the guard ceremony at 2:00 pm, all the guests who were watching the ceremony would rush to the highlight spots of Gyeongbokgung Palace

So I think it’s better to see the changing of the guard ceremony after you’ve finished sightseeing at the palace and then leave. As you can see, The sky is now sunny and perfect for photos 💙 as if the rain from earlier was a lie

Today, I started in the morning and saw around the northern part of central Seoul. I’m tired after walking all morning 😵 So I’ll take a break at a cafe, then I’ll visit around Myeong-dong and Seoul Station in the evening! Stay tuned in for Myeong-dong, Deoksugung Palace, Seoul Station, and Namdaemun part!
