This Town, Kotohira, is in the central part of Kagawa Prefecture, Japan.
Konpira Shrine in the town has long been a popular spot visited by many worshippers.
In recent years, tourists from overseas have also been seen here.
Several main routes that worshipers once took stretch through the town, and some parts of the townscape that give you a sense of history remain.
