Okinawa, Ishigaki・Hateruma 4 nights 5 days solo trip Underestimated the lack of people Enjoying the beautiful beach alone Company Employee Solo Trip Okinawa・Ishigaki Island & Hateruma Island #3 Nice to meet you or Hello! This is what kind of person I am!
Here is the itinerary for this trip. If you have any recommendations for Hateruma, please let me know 🙂 Good morning. I went to bed around 22:00 yesterday, so I woke up at 5:00. Laugh I’m thinking of swimming in the early morning sea.
No one in the morning sea either. Even though the shops weren’t open at night, I wonder where everyone is. I took a walk I tried swimming I played in the sea alone for almost three hours. Laugh
I haven’t passed the west side of the island, so I’ll return to the inn while going around half. Coatmori made to monitor the sea and ships. It is said that it is 60 meters high, so you can see the sea even at this height.
Since there was a walkable path, I came to the cliff? Cape? Place. Goats again. It seems that there are also wild goats on the island. Beautiful goats. … I wonder if they are for food. When I came, there was no one except for the village and Nishi Beach,
It was so quiet and a little scary. If I collapse even a little and fall, it seems that no one will find me for about a week. … Well, it’s the same even if I collapse at home alone. Laugh
It seems nice to have a picnic or something, I wonder where the islanders and tourists spend their time during the day. There seems to be a beautiful beach other than Nishi Beach, so I decided to take a look, but The road to the beach is super scary.
Walking while simulating how to deal with when a snake or a person or a bee comes out. Through a narrow path… It’s so beautiful, but there are no people or living things, and the end of the world feeling is amazing.
In such a wide space, I feel like I’m experiencing being alone for the first time. On this trip, I’m glad I learned that “really deserted nature is scary.” (I don’t know if this can be called nature with such a well-paved road)
I thought, “I want to spend time in a quiet sea without people!” I don’t like crowds, but I want at least 10 people other than myself. Laugh In the end, I came back to Nishi Beach. I will spend a relaxing day here today.
Actually, on my 22-year EU trip, I despaired of my English skills, and in my mid-30s, I started studying English seriously for the first time. I brought study materials, so I will study here for a while.
By the way, when I started studying, my TOEIC IP (online simplified version) score was 530, which is significantly below the university student average of 580. Laugh Even if you can’t speak English, it has been proven that travel in this era is manageable. Laugh
A cat that I saw in the village, I thought it was a messenger of God because it was so beautiful. Too divine… It seems like I can go to another world.
This is said to be the dirtiest inn in Japan? Tamashiro Inn. The owner of the inn seems to be unique. The amount of food is large. There are accommodation videos by famous travel YouTubers, so if you’re interested, please check it out 🙂
When I passed by, it didn’t seem to be open. I wonder if it’s still available. Uchinaaguchi (Okinawan language) that I absolutely don’t understand even if told. There seems to be helicopter tours, too. (Riding a helicopter is on my list of 100 things to do before I die)
In the end, I couldn’t enter restaurants until the last day, but it was fun to buy snacks and eat frozen takoyaki. So (?) I spent the rest of my time in Hateruma swimming and studying, relaxing on the beach. Last day in Hateruma, heading to Ishigaki on the noon flight.
There are quite a few people in the waiting room. Although I rarely met people on the island… The ship arrives on time. Think of it as Okinawa time and don’t be late.
In the end, I didn’t use the mosquito net. Laugh Well, it’s much better not to use it than to deal with bugs coming out. The ship feels smaller than the outbound one. I’m glad it didn’t get canceled. It seems that there was a regular Hateruma visitor behind me,
And the islanders were seeing me off at the breakwater. Goodbye Hateruma! I’ve never been able to spend such a leisurely time on a trip! Back in Ishigaki! Ishigaki Port has a monument of Mr. Gusukobushi Youtaka. When I see this, I feel like I’ve come to Ishigaki.
Ishigaki is thriving with a shopping street near the port, so I’ll leave my luggage in the port locker and go shopping. Arcade shopping street near the port. Apparently, it’s the southernmost shopping street in Japan.
After shopping, I will send the mosquito net and luggage that I don’t need to Tokyo at the nearby post office. Since it’s an LCC, baggage additional fees apply, and sending by mail is usually cheaper than paying additional fees. There’s a special edition Royce limited to Ishigaki~ Black sugar chocolate must be delicious.
Island and pepper cookie also looks delicious. Both Ishigaki and the main island have quite a few stylish shops, and it’s fun to stroll around the town. I made souvenir purchases at this shop. I love Jimami tofu. There are also quite a few fashionable fashion shops lined up, and window shopping is also enjoyable.
Even though I’m staying overnight in Ishigaki, I hadn’t decided what to do, so I’ll have some coffee. The shop I casually entered was too cute, so I bought souvenirs here too. The first floor is a shop, and the second floor is like a cafe.
The design level of the shop’s original goods is high~ Sunscreen and other products seem to consider the environment. Planning Ishigaki Island while drinking coffee…
I somehow found an available rental car, so tomorrow I’m thinking of driving around the island. 72 00:09:33,230 –> 00:09:39,220 Since tomorrow’s plans are set, I’ll send souvenirs at the post office and head to the inn quickly.
Coming to Okinawa’s remote islands without a car is a first for me, but surprisingly, there are proper buses, and it’s not so inconvenient to go to famous places.
I will stay in Shiraho, a village near the airport in Ishigaki, because there was a bus stop nearby, and if I rent a car, there seem to be many near the airport. On the way to the inn, there is an unmanned sale. Is this a variety of pineapple called Peach?
I wanted to buy it, but I gave up because I don’t have a knife. Arrived at today’s inn! The last inn on the Okinawa trip! Ishigaki was torn between a hotel or a guesthouse, but I chose a guesthouse that seems to have delicious food.
In Hateruma, I chose a private room without meals, so I wanted to interact with the locals a bit. Although it’s a guesthouse, the bath and toilet are separate, so privacy is maintained. Welcome drink and pineapple. I’m glad I didn’t buy it earlier. Laugh
Booklet about the Shiraho village where the guesthouse is located. The explanation about the local grandmas is interesting. Laugh I haven’t seen it once on this trip, but Yaejima is famous for its stars, and it seems that quite a few stars can be seen from this coast.
Since there is time until dinner, I will take a walk in the village. Children greet loudly when passing by, and it was cute. The innkeeper told me that, for crime prevention as well, even people you don’t know are taught to greet each other!
Suspicious traffic sign seen in Miyako Island is also in Ishigaki. Laugh Apparently, you can also swim in this area. It’s a beautiful beach. Even though I love the sea, spending time idly by the beach on the 4th day makes me wonder what to do. Laugh So!!! The long-awaited!!! Dinner!
The owner used to work in a restaurant, and the food was unbelievably delicious. Okinawa’s Aosa seaweed is different! (However, the hamburger was surprisingly delicious) Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate on this day either, and we couldn’t see many stars. Breakfast was also delicious… Checked out and came to rent a car!
Today, I’ll go around Ishigaki in one day! Looking forward to the drive~ I rented from OTS Rent a Car. There were hardly any cars available anywhere, so it was lucky that I could rent one. Next time, I’ll introduce a one-day round-the-island course in Ishigaki! Let’s meet again in the next video.
Next time, Ishigaki Island One Day Tour Course. Finally, it’s sunny! If this video was helpful, please subscribe to the channel and give it a thumbs up. Thank you!
