Hello? Today, you can get there from the Han River in Seoul. We will introduce you to interesting attractions. Since it is a place that has been around for a while, it is probably one of the most popular places among Seoul citizens. There are probably a lot of people who don’t know 🙂

Just go out through exit 1. This is Exit 1 of ‘Hapjeong Station’ in Seoul. There is a bus stop right in front of Exit 1. From here, you can take the ‘Mapo No. 16’ village bus. The bus departure interval is short, about 10 minutes. It only takes about 5 minutes by bus.

This is the ‘Hwapyeong Church’ stop. You can cross the bus stop diagonally. If you walk up the road a little bit, you will see a small purple parking lot management office. From here, go into the alley on the left. For your information, there are many driver restaurants around.

You know? Article restaurants are usually above average 🙂 It’s been a while since I had a hearty meal of pork bulbaek and I’m leaving. If you go about 100m along the alley on the left, you will see a small tunnel.

There is a public parking lot at ‘Mangwon Interchange’ right next to the tunnel. Parking fee is 2,400 won per hour. (200 won for 5 minutes) Cross the tunnel and continue straight. ‘Gangbyeon Buk-ro’ passes right above the tunnel. After passing the tunnel, you will see a large Han River Park.

This is ‘Seoul Ham Park’ in the ‘Mangwon District’ of the Han River. There are as many as three recently retired battleships and submarines here. There are many people who don’t know because it is not visible from the main road. There’s a huge screw there, right? In particular, there is a submarine here.

It’s a submarine that looks really good at swimming, right? 🙂 The most beautiful boat to see is floating on the Han River. It looks like it’s about to set sail at any moment. really! There are many other tourist attractions around here, so it would be better to combine them.

Every weekend at 1pm and 3pm There is also a program where veterans themselves provide explanations. Admission fee is 3,000 won for adults. Seeing it from the side makes the size of the ship even more apparent. The ship was recently decommissioned, so it appears to be in very good condition.

You’ll be given a wristband like this, and it’s your entrance ticket. This ship is the ‘Seoul’, which was decommissioned in 2015. It is a 2,000-ton battleship with a length of 100 meters. In fact, the ‘Seoul’ is the first ship received from the United States and the second ship built in-house.

And there are four ships in active service. It is the third ‘Seoul ship’ that is currently on display at the Han River. Please note that important facilities are also provided with voice guidance. When I walk on the deck like this, I can feel the length of 100m.

When I went to the very front of the ship, I saw an impressive anchor made of chain as thick as a human calf. If you go to the front of the boat and stand there, you can feel it swaying slightly with the waves. I climbed to a higher place

Various firearm systems are also well preserved. There is also a ‘Harpoon Missile’ launcher. With the radar running like this, it looks like they are really getting ready to set sail. There is a wheelhouse at the highest point. It’s in very good condition, right? This chair is the captain’s chair.

You can sit comfortably as you like. Sitting here makes me feel like a real captain 🙂 I don’t know how time flies when I look at the various equipment I see in movies. This is the ‘chart room’ where maps of the sea are stored. I have to go up and down narrow stairs.

This is also fun Under the turret, you can even see a device that supplies ammunition. This is the ‘Combat Information Room’ and is an important place to collect and analyze various information related to battle. In particular, the ‘Underwater Intelligence Room’ is a place that uses sonar to find submarines or ships.

It is the quietest place on the ship, right? There’s a captain’s office right next to it. It’s small but has everything you need. There is also a sofa, a small bed, and a separate toilet and shower. There is a room for VIPs who visit the ship.

Since it is a very small ship, there is only the essentials. This is the ship’s kitchen and restaurant. It is said that about 150 people were on board this ship. So we had to take turns eating. It is currently being used as an experiential learning room.

As I walked along the narrow alley, I found a barbershop. But it’s a great barbershop 🙂 There is also a laundry room. All the necessary facilities are available If you go to the back of the ship, you will find the officers’ quarters. Since 4 people were sharing one room, I don’t think there was any privacy. This is a bathroom and shower room.

In the center of the ship, there is a living quarters used by enlisted soldiers. I used the 3rd floor bed like this. As you can see, it is very narrow, so there must have been a lot of inconveniences.

We should be grateful for the hard work of our soldiers on the front lines of national defense. The various facilities are well preserved in almost their original form. I watched without realizing how time passed. Next is the ‘Dolphin class submarine’.

It is a small submarine that is approximately 25m long and can accommodate 14 people. This submarine is indoors and has one side cut open. It was very nice to see It is said that this small submarine is mainly used for infiltration operations. But my first impression is… is it possible for 14 people

To live in such a small place? I was worried All four sides are surrounded by mechanical devices. It must have been really frustrating because the head height was low. There is also a periscope, and you can see it clearly 🙂 You can’t climb up, but there is a ladder too.

This submarine is said to be equipped with two torpedoes. This tube is a torpedo launch tube. There is a bed and living quarters in the middle of the submarine. Transforming into a sofa and bed like this is similar to a camping car 🙂

It is said that this table can be unfolded into a wide bed. Although it is small, there are also cooking facilities. But there is a bathroom right next to it? ^^; In fact, it is far from comfortable and has only the bare necessities.

It’s amazing that you can see the inside of a submarine in such detail from the Han River in Seoul. really! The walls of the submarine are this thick. So the interior space is much narrower than it looks from the outside. Now shall we go to the second floor?

There is also an exhibition like this on the second floor. They say it changes every season. This ship is the ‘Chamsuri Speedboat’ This ship is Korea’s main speedboat that fought bravely during the ‘Battle of Yeonpyeong’. It was a high-speed boat with about 30 people on board. The wheelhouse is small.

I pray for the soul of those who bravely fought against the enemy and sacrificed themselves… There is also a telescope on the deck, and you can see it very clearly. There is a staircase going down to the back deck. There is now a commemorative promotional hall related to the Navy.

16년도에 입대해서 천왕봉함에서 복무했습니다.
그당시에 진해항 6부두쪽에 퇴역한 서울함이 계류하던걸 본거같은데 다시보니 반갑네요

전함은 12인치포 이상 3만톤 이상의 군함을 지칭하는 말입니다. 군함이라 쓰시는게 좋을 것 같습니다

저 망원 살때 자주 갔었는데 입장료도 저렴해서 자녀 데리고 가면 좋아요 그리고 바로 옆에 스벅도 있고 편의점 한강라면도 먹을 수 있어요 주말 주차장 만차 금방되서 평일 추천 드립니다!!!!!!
한강은 책읽는 한강공원이라는 행사도 좋아요~~!!!!!

92~94년 기관(보일러) 일반하사 (직업군인 아니고 병대신 가는 것임. 월급은 항해수당 합해서 8~9마넌 정도 받았음. 병장은 월급 1마넌, 항해수당 1마넌정도로 기억.)로 DD-923 (경기함 : 미군이 2차대전때 쓰던 구닥다리 얻어와서 수리한 미국형 구축함)에 근무 했었습니다.

서울함은 FFK (한국형 구축함)이고요.

참고로 숫자가 9백 단위면 구축함이라고 보시면 되고 맨 위에 레이다가 동그란거 있으면 한국형, 없으면 미국에서 얻어온거 라고 보시면 구분하기 쉽습니다.

1년에 한번씩 가족들이나 친구들 불러서 함선 구경시켜주는 행사를 하는데 사람들이 죄다 배 윗부분만 구경하고 가는지라 기관실도 좀 구경하라고 그 때가 마침 겨울이어서 "경기함에서 가장 따뚯한 곳"이라고 써서 기관실 입구에 붙여놨더니 그제서야 몇 명 구경하러 내려오더라는…ㅋ

역시나 여서서도 위만 보고 가는군요…ㅜㅜ

사병침실 후지다고 생각되것지만 저것도 좋아진 것임.

쇠파이프에 캔버스 천 묶어서 만든 3~4층 침대에서 생활했었음.

난 하사관이라 3층으로 된 침대 썼는데 사병들은 4층으로 된 것 쓰고…

4층으로 된거는 위아래 폭이 좁아서 옆으로 누워서 못잠.

들어간 자세 그대로 일어날때까지~~~

고속정 참수리는 전에는 기러기라고 불렀었는데 기러기는 전투함이름으로는 별로라 그런건가 참수리로…

참수리가 훨신 어울리기는 하죠.

제비라고 기러기 보다 더 작은 것도 있었는데 요즘편제엔 없는것 같더군요.
