“SAYONARA.” Kansai Japan 11 – Osaka
Today is October 21st, Saturday morning. Today is the last day of my Japan trip. This trip was really nice that I look around from the Northern end of Japan which is the island of Hokkaido to the southern part of Kansai area; Wakama prefecture, and Kobe city, Osaka.
I’ve look around a lot of places and a lot of cities. Japan is a really huge country with a lot of attractive cities and people. This is the Herbis Osaka bus terminal for airport bus. You cannot reserve your seat earlier before the day you take the bus.
This is the time schedule for the international airport and you need to put the money first into the ticket machine. And then, you can buy a ticket. This is where you can take the tickets. It’s cash only. You can’t pay your tickets by your credit card or debit card. It’s only payed by the cash.
If you have any questions, you can ask here. I heard it also stops at Hankyu hotel. I’m going to take a look around the city some more and then I’ll eat some lunch and prepare to go back. When you’re coming down from the station, here’s a river crossing the city.
There’s a really American style Brownstone building. This is the building I was looking for. That’s the building. It was designed by Japanese architect Takamatsu Shin. The design is really exotic. Contemporary style. I don’t know why he made the entrance like this.
It reminds me some kind of a temple or gothic architect style. Right across this building, there’s Osaka member’s only social club building. Now it’s just another closed building. This enormous building is for Sumitomo Mitsui banking corporation. This is Osaka Nakanoshime prefectural library. It’s very contemporary classic style building.
Right next to the library, here is a Osaka public city hall. Its architecture is similar like Tokyo station. The city hall has similar color with the Tokyo station. After watching City hall and library, I’m trying to go back to the station and try to get some food.
For lunch, I ate onigiri. It’s a place called ‘Onigiri Gorichan’. It was really nice. One of the best onigiri I’ve ever eaten in Japan. This small street is full of design, artistic cafes and places to eat. It’s really nice street to look around behind the Umeda station.
After I ate dinner with a ramen, I’m going to have a departure.
