Exploring SANTA CLAUSE VILLAGE in FINLAND 🇫🇮 (Rovaniemi)

For the next 24 hours we’re exploring  Santa Claus village in Rovaniemi Finland we’re incredibly excited to share all  that this magical town has to offer we are in a winter wonderland out here crazy I’m excited to explore this place yeah we got a lot to explore

So if you missed our last video  we took the Santa Claus Express   last night overnight to get here and we did  get a sleeper cabin but I got like no sleep but this is really making  up for it that’s for sure I can’t believe we have snow

I’m just so excited I love Christmas  I love Santa and he’s here today and I’m so excited we got to go find him we’ll find him later we got to do a whole tour look at it oh my that one’s ours it’s our room oh I’m doing a dance

This is my excited dance and come on into our cabin for a tour so right when you get inside  you have the phone reception and you also have a really nicely sized  closet with hangers an umbrella and a dust pan there’s also storage space on top

Then once you come inside they have  this super cute do not disturb sign it says well this is the finished version I’m assuming but in English it says dreaming  of Christmas please do not disturb and then walking farther into the room you  have a couch with a super cute reindeer blanket

And red and gray pillows it’s very christmy in here cuz it’s so red and then you have a huge I’m going to say it’s  king size bed it’s also the classic Scandinavian   Style with the two separate duvets instead of the  one big one and they even have like the separate  

Beds kind of put together on the sides of the bed  we each have our own nightstand and light and we   also have our own Outlets to charge things then  facing the bed is a ton more storage space look at  

How much luggage we could fit in here it’s crazy  oh iron score oh surprise we also have an iron   and more hangers oh my word I’m so excited about  this we have complimentary Santa Claus village robes wow look at these robes these are  comfortable we’re full Santa Claus now Santa  

Village last thing I want to mention about this  side of the room there is a huge flat screen TV   let’s move to the other side of the room on this  side you have a full kitchenet with a microwave  

A two burner stove a sink keurig or coffee maker  a water boiler a dishwasher look at this full   dishwasher a trash can area a fridge oh yeah  you have a light and a fan and then in here  

Here you have a ton of mugs and cups for all your  drinks and in here you have cleaning supplies if   you need to clean your dishes we also have a  fully wooden dining room table with beautiful   red tablecloth and a candle display and more  storage space and the Final Touch which is one  

Of my favorite Parts about the room I think this  reindeer antler chandelier look how beautiful it   is it really compliments the whole Christmas Santa  vibe finally the bathroom we’re going to do this   one quick we have all the bathroom things a toilet  sink mirror they do have a bidet fancy they also  

Have a shower on this side of the room they also  have complimentary slippers then finally the best   part of the entire place we have a private sauna  all to ourselves so this is where you change the  

Temperature I think we’re going to have to turn it  on all by oursel and then this is the water that   you put on top of the hot rocks to make it Steam  and then you sit there and enjoy saas are a huge  

Thing in Finnish culture they actually have  more saunas than they do cars in Finland it’s crazy that experience is kind of  crazy and that’s the tour let’s move on so now we’re going to go go explore this  whole village and all that it has to offer  

I’m excited Christmas Village  Santa’s Village oh I can’t grab it hello how didd you get  snow on your back I wonder how was that cool or what this Village  is just so Random it seems it’s just   like a bunch a red little cabins in the  middle of Northern Finland it’s like a  

Resort it’s like the most populous  popular tourist destination in all   Finland interestingly enough starting off  these festivities with Santa Claus’s post [Music] office this is so fun they  have a ton of postcards on my right   stuff to animals on my left there’s  elves you can buy there’s magnets

Wow so here at the post office you can write  postcards to anyone you want and they can send   it to your home for an extra €2,50 along with the  card price along with like sending it home you  

Can either send it right away or you can have it  delayed until Christmas so it’s like a Christmas   postcard you can also write a letter to Santa  and you can get a letter from Santa Eritria   Indonesia Hong Kong India Iraq apparently this  office receives about 500,000 letters from all  

Over the world every year I have a lot of family  so I’m riding them all postcards from Arctic Circle   and then you get a stamp it’s Unique it’s sick  it’s taking a lot of time though my hand already hurts that was a lot of writing all right let’s go  

Send them [Music] the stamps  look at how cute they are see that let’s keep exploring thank  you have a nice weekend yeah you too this is the official Santa Claus yep  it’s the Christmas house so it has Santa  

Claus a gift souvenir shop a coffee house  it’s got a lot in here [Music] wow wow it   smells so good in here smells like cinnamon  and Christmas it smells like Christmas yeah   wow this kid shop has so much it has  clothes and hats and reindeer hides it  

Has stuffed animal elves any like trinket  or like winter souvenir you could possibly   think of they have it here lots of Santa’s  too of course all right you ready to meet   Santa yeah let’s go this whole Santa Village  is pretty touristy and kind of kitchy but that

Doesn’t mean it’s not fun all right it is time  oh my word I caught a glimpse of him it’s time Hi Hello how are you good come to shake my hand I am doing great how about you doingI like your big beautiful beard

Oh thank you  my old it was reaching to the floor but Mrs. Clause a little bit now when you have a princess there I  give you advice once a week you give a massage oh [Music] yeah I believe that this park  runs right through the Arctic Circle and  

That is literally 66° 32 minutes  I want to say 35 I think that is   the arctic circle line so which side is  the Arctic Circle I think it’s this one hey so at the restaurant 3 elves you can have  dinner or breakfast or whatever meal in the  

Igloo what yeah it’s like they have a table  in each one that’s crazy that’s so fun there’s a lot let’s go we just checked the radar  there might be northern lights outside they’re   right there they’re right there they’re right  there we saw we saw them again we saw them we  

Just saw them they’re in they’re right there I  don’t want us not look at them though I know I   got to oh my glasses I got to take pictures  four of them there’s like four streaks right  

There go to the dark I never thought we could  actually see the lights as actual lights but   this time you can they are like the most  beautiful thing I’ve ever seen in nature   my entire life look at that you can see them  so clearly in the video guys they are so so  

Bright this is insane so beautiful oh I hope  that the camera does it justice cuz it’s like   a whole streak in the sky what look at those  I know can you guys see this huge thing into  

The sky right now it’s streaking the entire Sky  what a treat Santa Claus village you don’t even   have to do a tour you just go outside we’re  literally so lucky thanks for watching guys   appreciate it you help us go fund these  kind of Adventures so yeah appreciate you

This is insane [Music] woohoo good morning  everybody good morning we just woke up and   we’re about to go to breakfast which is  included with the price of the stay and   we’re really excited yeah and if you can’t  tell it’s snowing right now and there’s like  

A couple inches on Co on the the ground this  is insane it’s snowing so hard wow it’s so pretty morning everybody they have a pretty good  here I’ll show you they have a huge selection of   breakfast comes included veggies eggs croissant tomato  brownie hardboiled eggs got to get that protein you  

Know what I’m saying I had the best sleep I have  had so far on this entire trip to Europe in the   bed at the cabin like it is so comfortable  so big and so soft the Arctic Circle walk ready there are a few more things that  

We want to see that closed yesterday  we didn’t get a chance so we’re going   to get all our stuff then walk over  that was so nice this place is so nice There’s real reindeer look at

These so in Santa Claus village they also have  reindeer rides if we had any more time we would   totally do it cuz it’s snowing and it’s just  beautiful full but there’s two reindeer right   here huge antlers covered in snow it’s so  awesome they really feel like Christmas hey

Buddy and they have an awesome fire  right in front of the reindeer thing   so we can get warmed yeah and you  sit on reindeer belts right here yeah right here too you have snowmobiles that  you can rent and take them around and there’s  

Little ones even for the kiddos I don’t know  if you can see that right there this place is   so fun there so much stuff to do if you keep  walking down there’s also a husky Park they’re  

So cute there’s so many little doggies running  around and you can actually I think go on a ride   with them too like dog sledding unfortunately  we’re in a hurry to leave but all this   stuff would be so cool like riding behind the  reindeer riding behind the dogs you know yeah

Yeah a very Merry Christmas will have this year  just read the sign FDR and Elanor Roosevelt were   here on humanitarian effort because there were  a bunch of efforts in Lapland and they came and   they built this log cabin in two days to host  them and now that’s called the Roosevelt cabin  

Kiitos thank you was FDR Franklin Goes about  here too no he was Widow then oh gotcha wow   that’s super cool FDR wasn’t here guys yeah  he he had passed away by then but eleanor was   here wonderful lady in there said that I  guess nothing was here and then Eleanor  

Wanted to cross the Arctic Circle like we  did and then she um yeah she came and they   had just built that in a few days for her cuz  it was just forest back then yeah and then it  

Was the first post office the first Cafe the  first everything souvenir shop up here of this   so she started it yeah yeah that’s so cool I  love little history facts like that you know   yeah he made it to the bus end of this Vlog  stay tuned for more subscribe bye

We are exploring Santa Clause Village in Rovaniemi Finland which is in the Finnish Lapland. This is probably the most christmasy thing we have ever experienced while traveling the world. There’s Santa’s post office, Reindeer rides, a Husky park, and you get to meet Santa Clause himself! Twas a blast to make this one.
