大阪・梅田駅周辺おすすめランチ6店 / 実力のある支店編part2 Osaka, Umeda, gourmet, Restaurant, Lunch

Hello. This video introduces 6 delicious and recommended restaurants for lunch near Osaka Station and Umeda Station. There are a variety of shops in the Umeda area, but we will mainly introduce branches that have excellent and delicious restaurants. There are various genres such as dim sum dishes, curry, yakiniku, and crepes.

I would be happy if I could help you choose a restaurant in the Osaka Station/Umeda Station area. “BOTANI CURRY” is an introduction to the restaurant located in Hanshin Department Store’s Umeda main branch. On the 9th floor of the department store, there is a restaurant floor called “Hanshin Daishokudo”.

This restaurant floor is different from that of a typical department store, and is characterized by a concentration of branches of Osaka’s Michelin-class restaurants. The concept of this food hall seems to be “to casually enjoy food from restaurants that are difficult to reserve or have long lines.”

Although it is an actual food hall, it is very spacious with about 300 seats. The process is to reserve a seat in advance, order at the store, receive a remote call bell, and go to pick up your food when the bell rings.

The entire food hall is lively, probably because each restaurant has an open kitchen. And this time I would like to recommend the curry shop “BOTANI CURRY”. This is a very popular curry restaurant with its main branch in Honmachi, Osaka, and is even listed in the Michelin star.

Currently, the main store is only open about twice a week, and it is so popular that they require a numbered ticket system, making it difficult to get to the main store. So this is a happy opening.

The curry menu is the same as the main store, and in addition to the basic “BOTANI CURRY”, there are four types available: “Shrimp Curry” using shrimp, chicken curry, and keema curry. This time I ordered a curry with BOTANI CURRY and shrimp curry on the same plate. Let’s eat it right away.

The visuals of this curry are as beautiful as a painting. The one on the left is shrimp curry, and the one on the right is the classic BOTANI CURRY. At the back of the plate, there are probably more than 10 types of vegetables carefully arranged.

Shrimp curry is a soupy curry with no viscosity made with seafood-based stock. The taste of the shrimp doesn’t overwhelm the aroma of the spices, and it’s really delicious. The soup has a deep flavor and a cooling sensation. This is the restaurant’s standard “Botani Curry”.

“Botani curry” is chicken-based and has a slightly more viscous consistency than shrimp curry. I think the spiciness is relatively modest. The sweet and refreshing impression of coriander seeds remains in the aftertaste, creating a refreshing curry.

There are many spice curry shops in Osaka, but I think this shop’s curry is by far the best. You can easily enjoy the taste of such a popular restaurant at the food hall of a department store. “Kamatake Udon”

Next is an introduction to the udon restaurant located in “Shin Umeda Shokudogai”, which is located under the Tokaido Main Line and Osaka Loop Line guardrails. “Shin Umeda Shokudogai” has many restaurants lined up in narrow aisles, with nearly 100 stores open.

And this time we will be introducing “Kamatake Udon”, a restaurant specializing in udon. By the way, the main branch of this store used to be in Sennichimae, Osaka, but the owner opened a new type of udon restaurant, so the Sennichimae branch is currently closed.

When Kamatake Udon opened in 2003, it popularized Sanuki-style hard udon in Osaka, where soft udon had previously been the norm.

On the udon menu, the specialty is “Chiku Tama Ten Bukkake,” which is a combination of chikuwa (a processed food made from minced fish stretched into thin strips) tempura and chicken egg tempura in the same bowl.

This unusual style of serving tempura directly on top of cold udon noodles, rather than on a separate plate, has become a big hit in Osaka. The number of udon restaurants that imitate this style and serve it has suddenly increased in Osaka.

There are only 12 seats in the store, including counter seats and table seats. It’s a relatively small store. And this is the famous “Chiku Tama Ten Bukkake”. Cold udon noodles topped with tempura and udon sauce. The udon noodles here look like hard Sanuki-style noodles, but they are slightly different.

Sanuki-style udon usually takes about 10 minutes to boil, but this restaurant’s udon takes twice that time, 20 minutes. Therefore, its texture is “chewy”. It is a type of udon that is soft, but also has some hard parts, so you can enjoy the difference.

This type of udon is somewhere between the soft udon of Osaka and the hard Sanuki style udon. It may be right to call it “Osaka, Sanuki, Udon.” In addition, the soup stock for the udon soup does not use small fish such as anchovies, but instead uses kelp and bonito instead.

It is delicious to eat this udon soup with tempura. This is warm udon noodles that have just been boiled. It’s delicious with lots of tender Japanese beef on top. As a result of various innovations, this restaurant became the origin of “Osaka’s Sanuki-style udon,” which has evolved uniquely. Please give it a try.

“Din Tai Fung” The next restaurant we will introduce is located inside the Hankyu Department Store, which is directly connected to Umeda Station. There is a restaurant floor on the 12th floor of the department store, and there is the restaurant I will be introducing this time.

There are about 20 restaurants on the 12th floor restaurant floor. This is “Din Tai Fung”. “Din Tai Fung” is a dim sum restaurant whose main branch is in Taiwan, and whose signature dish is xiao long bao.

This restaurant is well known and has branches all over the world. There is also a branch in Umeda called LUCUA, but I often visit this branch in Hankyu Department Store. This branch is spacious and has 90 seats.

Another unique feature of this restaurant is that you can see the dim sum master making the xiao long bao in most of the stores. The restaurant’s policy is to only serve its signature xiao long bao freshly steamed. As for the food menu, the basic xiaolongbao is 680 yen for 4 pieces.

There are also rich xiao long bao made with truffles and crab. We also have a wide selection of shumai, fried dumplings, and other a la carte dishes. There are also various noodle dishes.

There are also great value set menus of xiaolongbao and other dishes. This time I would like to introduce my favorite “Xiaolongbao and shrimp fried rice set” (1,870 yen). By the way, the jasmine tea that is served in a pot first is very delicious. It has a sweet taste and is delicious.

The xiaolongbao was immediately brought to us in a piping hot steamer. Xiaolongbao has a thin skin that allows you to see the ingredients inside, which stimulates your appetite. By the way, Din Tai Fung is particular about folding the xiao long bao dough so that it has 18 wrinkles. The wrinkles are so beautiful.

Inside the skin, there is plenty of deep-flavored soup and meat juice overflowing from the ingredients. Especially the soup is very delicious. I think it’s a signature dish. Xiaolongbao is delicious when eaten as is, but it is also delicious when eaten with ginger or black vinegar. And this is the shrimp fried rice set.

This is one of the many dishes on the restaurant’s menu that I highly recommend. The rice is not stuck together, it is separated one by one, and the oil used is in very good condition. Because the oil is in good condition, the aroma of the shrimp, eggs, and green onions is very delicious.

And the salt adjustment is exquisite. I don’t know about other stores, but at this branch of Hankyu Department Store, the fried rice is always uniform. This is the kind of fried rice that you just want to keep eating. On this day, I also ordered my personal favorite dish, steamed vegetable and pork dumplings.

This also has a thin skin that allows you to see the ingredients inside, and the wrinkles in the skin are also very beautiful. Although the skin is thin, it has a jiggly and chewy texture. The taste of vegetables is very delicious.

It’s a restaurant that can be used for any occasion, it’s clean and spacious, and above all, the food is outstanding. I think it will be useful to know about this restaurant. “Hakuundai”

Next, we will introduce a yakiniku restaurant located in the Grand Front commercial facility located a little north of Umeda Station in Osaka. There is a restaurant floor on the 7th floor, and there is a restaurant here. This is “Haku-un-dai”, a yakiniku restaurant.

Haku-un-dai, which has been in business for about 40 years, has its main store in Tsuruhashi, Osaka, which is known as the sacred place for yakiniku. This is a popular yakiniku restaurant where you can enjoy delicious beef at a reasonable price. It is spacious with 78 seats.

A smoke exhaust duct is installed above the grill where the meat is grilled, so you don’t have to worry about smells getting on your clothes. Regarding the meat menu, this time we will be introducing a value-priced yakiniku lunch set instead of a single item.

This set includes a choice of your favorite meat part, 4 types of side dishes, soup, and rice. The side dishes that day were salad, kimchi, bean sprouts and wakame namul, and tail soup. This is the popular part of the cow’s diaphragm.

A set with several side dishes and 150g of meat is reasonably priced at 1,500 yen. This is the loin part of Wagyu beef. 150g is 1,600 yen. You can choose between regular Yakiniku sauce or salt-based sauce for the meat.

I have visited this yakiniku restaurant at its main branch in Tsuruhashi, but I personally recommend the diaphragm meat. It’s soft, has a deep flavor, and is delicious. This is a very useful restaurant when you want to casually enjoy delicious Yakiniku at a reasonable price in the center of Umeda. “Creperie Stand Chandeleur”

Next is an introduction to “Creperie Stand Chandeleur” located in the Chayamachi area. There is a creperie on the first floor of the building. It has a nice interior with an impressive large chandelier.

There is also a branch in HERBIS in the same shopping center in Umeda, but I like this store more than that one. The atmosphere is like a French cafe. The food menu is very attractive with a wide selection of crepes and galettes.

This restaurant is more of a cafe/restaurant that mainly serves galettes and crepes rather than a crepe specialty store. There is also a wide variety of set menus, so you will have a lot of fun choosing. If this is your first visit, we recommend the simple and classic “French Sucre” crepe.

A set with a drink costs 1,180 yen (tax included). This crepe is made with carefully selected ingredients: French Echire butter, French flour and sugar, and Guérande salt. The crepes are made with high-quality ingredients and are so delicious that they cannot be compared to other crepe shops in the area.

The crepe dough has both crunchy and chewy parts, giving it a very good texture. It is very delicious with the deep flavor of Echire butter. If this is your first visit, be sure to try this simple crepe first. And this is a set of galettes that I ordered separately.

I chose the galette with mushroom and potato meat sauce. A set menu called “Galette Lunch” that includes salad and soup costs 1,320 yen (tax included). The galette is piping hot and has a very nice soba flavor.

The galette dough has a fragrant and crispy texture on the outside, and a chewy texture on the inside. The mushroom and potato meat sauce goes perfectly with the galette dough. Authentic creperie made with quality ingredients. If you want to eat crepes in the Umeda area, we recommend this cafe/restaurant.

The last part of “DAMMANN lumière” is an introduction to the black tea salon located in Hankyu Department Store. It’s on the 6th floor. This is the tea salon “DAMMANN lumière”, which is a collaboration between the long-established French tea specialty store “DAMMANN FRÈRES” and the French restaurant “lumière” in Shinsaibashi.

This is the entrance, and many tea leaves from DAMMANN FRÈRES are on sale. There is a tea salon in the back, and it is a spacious space with 50 seats.

With black as the main color and a chandelier, it has a luxurious atmosphere that makes you hard to believe that it is a tenant of a department store. This is the tea menu. Anyway, there are so many different types that it can be confusing.

There are also a wide variety of flavored black teas. A detailed explanation of the differences in the aroma of black tea leaves is provided. I think this is a tea salon that will satisfy those who love tea. And this is the food menu. This tea salon especially recommends pancakes.

If you get it as a set with black tea, you’ll get a 250 yen discount. And this is the food menu. These foods are supervised by Shinsaibashi’s Michelin-starred French restaurant Lumière, so they’re all sure to be delicious.

This tea salon has an extensive food menu, so whether you use it as a cafe for a light meal or as a restaurant for a hearty meal, you will be satisfied. Now, regarding the actual black tea, both pots are about 2.5 cups of black tea.

This black tea is “Ceylon OP Superior” from Ceylon. It has a strong, deep flavor and is delicious. This is “Darjeeling GFOP”, which has a mature taste and a gentle peach-like aroma. All of the teas sold at this tea salon have a wonderful aroma, and tea lovers will be truly satisfied.

This time I would like to introduce dessert. This is a pancake recommended by DAMMANN lumiere, and it is a set of three pancakes with fresh cream and fruit jelly. The pancakes and fresh cream are modestly sweet, with a simple taste of flour and eggs.

Pancakes have a simple taste, so they don’t interfere with the taste of black tea, and the synergistic effect is very good. This is a parfait flavored with grapes and rooibos tea.

This parfait is characterized by the generous use of rooibos tea jelly, and although it has a complex composition, it comes together in a well-balanced manner. We also have a variety of other desserts and foods, so be sure to try them out.

This tea salon is a combination of a long-established French tea shop and a Michelin French restaurant. I think you will also be able to spend an elegant time in a luxurious space. The above is an introduction to some delicious and recommended restaurants for lunch near Osaka Station and Umeda Station.

There are a variety of restaurants in the Osaka Station/Umeda area, and I would be happy if this information could help you choose a restaurant.
