I was 29 years old and griping about the hike up to the top where there is a beautiful view of the Hozu River framed by Cherry Blossoms. At the top on this day in 1992, I met a very vigorous 79 year old Mr Yoshihisa Okamatsu who gave me his life story and philosophy. I did my best to get him to retell it coherently for the video – it is a bit muddled to be sure, but hopefully you will get his point.
