Check out what’s in #CanonExplorerOfLight @lnweatherspoon’s gear bag: “As an editorial and commercial photographer, a well-rounded kit helps me get every side of my work done. Whether it’s stills or video, this kit helps me keep my files and camera settings in sync. I have two Canon EOS R5s to use two different lenses without having to switch them on one camera. Each RF lens lets me take a range of portraits and environments on any project. I’ve fallen in love with the Canon EOS C70 because I now have three cameras that shoot in Cinema Raw Light and CLOG3. I have the same focal setup with the EF lens for moments when I’m shooting video on all three cameras, which is where the Canon Mount Adapter EF-EOS R comes in handy. Of course, you must have lots of batteries to ensure you have tons of power when shooting stills and video.

I have a lot of odds and ends in my kit, but there are three items that have been the most important. Dust is always an annoying thing, so that’s why it’s great to have an air blower for your lens and cameras as part of your kit. I’m a stickler for organization and I label almost every single piece of my gear. This helps when packing up because I will immediately know if something is missing. It’s also helpful when I have assistants on set to help decipher different pieces of gear. Last but not least, I keep a notebook and pen either in my kit or backpack to take important notes and journal about my photography experiences and ideas any time I’d like.”
