For this image, our client’s daughter was turning 10, so they wanted a few coming-of-age images that conveyed both her inner and outer beauty. They wanted images that made her feel powerful and regal. We decided on a monochromatic setup to help tell her story. Her unicorn hair and rainbow jewels helped to communicate her youthfulness and added a bit of whimsy to our story. For our setup, we used our EOS R3 and the Canon RF28-70mm F2 L USM lens which allowed us to capture a variety of poses and frames in a short period of time.
