Therefore, when the goal is to create a bold photo, it seems appropriate to make it all red. To add drama to this photo taken in the middle of the night in Tucson AZ, I used strong directional light. I created the face-shaping shadows using a powerful strobe at high power, equipped with a gridded beauty dish to further add directionality and contrast to the light.”
