Photo by #CanonExplorerOfLight @bobanddawn_inthewild: “This was a ‘micro’ wedding that took place in June of 2020 at the height of the pandemic. Gatherings were limited to 50 people or less and guests needed to be socially distanced and wear face masks. Adam & Kevin decided to not put their lives on hold and exchanged vows with their immediate family and friends present while simulcasting their wedding to guests around the country via stream. Their attention to detail was not micro at all, this was their wedding with their class style. They sent stunningly wrapped gift boxes with champagne, flowers, and chocolates, which the guests opened at the start of their celebration of marriage.

I love photographing weddings, they are the personal story of two people’s love story and the joining together of families and friends in celebration of love. This photograph was taken after they said ‘I do.’ This photograph says love, commitment, and trust. Though the wedding was small, their love and celebration were big in spirit and virtual connection as any in-person wedding I’ve ever photographed.”
