This year we celebrate Canon’s 25th Anniversary of sponsoring Yellowstone Forever, the nonprofit partner of Yellowstone National Park. I am proud to be a part of Canon’s corporate philosophy of Kyosei, which means we strive to have a positive impact on society.

Wolves are an iconic keystone species and every wildlife photographer dreams of capturing wolves in their natural environment. I have spent almost two decades photographing winter wildlife in Yellowstone, and over that period of time I have seen many wolves, but getting great images, well that’s another story. Most often the wolves are viewed through a spotting scope miles away. I often get asked how long it took to get this image…truth be told 20 years or 1/2000 sec! 😉 ”
