“I moved from India to Washington last year, so this is my first year taking pictures in my new home. While the move did reunite me with my family, it also came with a sacrifice. In India, I taught more than 2,000 students, led more than 100 workshops, and took dozens of photography tours across the country. I left my business to carry forward, and now provide input and teach my associates remotely. This separation from my life in India devoted caused me to go through a depression that I tried to fight, but it was difficult. There were two thoughts that helped me: my immense love of nature and passion for exploring and photography; and faith that I could find my way out of the situation. I also had the help of friends, both old and new, with whom I now travel the West Coast, as well as constant support from family.” 💜🧡📸 Thank you for sharing your #CanonMemories with us, @lalitdeshmukh, and for being a part of #TeamCanon for the past 23 years.
