“I titled this ‘Oblivion’ because of the dramatic sense of stillness and nothingness after all points of reference disappeared in the mist. This mood was one I’ve been waiting to shoot out at the coast for a while. The heavy plume of smoke over Orange County from the multiple California wildfires kept the beaches a red tinge most of the day, but I waited patiently until the relief of a light breeze picked up enough to lighten the skies and pull in the evening fog. It eventually rolled into a heavy mist until there was nothing else in sight.” 🌫️Thank you for sharing your #CanonMemories with us, @jeffalanshem!
