The Lebanese people remain some of the most talented entrepreneurs on the planet. Their resilience is legendary, as they have always shown an incredible spirit and optimism in starting over in the wake of adversity. One of the reasons humankind has taken to photography so readily and so completely over the past hundred some years is that, whether we understand — consciously or not — that moments are fleeting, that meaning ebbs and flows. Nothing in this world is permanent, not even our memories. By capturing someone / something in a photograph or a video, we mere mortals can briefly stop time in its tracks.”
