“We wanted to bring the feeling of the outdoors into the studio with this image. Our model Annie is originally from Ethiopia and told us she wanted to look and feel like an Ethiopian queen. We used our Canon 85mm 1.8 lens paired with a Profoto B10 light with blue gel to create this dramatic portrait in studio. The model was placed away from a green floral backdrop to create the feeling of depth in the portrait.”
