7月20日（月）、新潟県上越市の直江津ショッピングセンターに「無印良品 直江津」がオープンします。

世界最大級の広さを誇る店内には、地元農産品や特産物を販売する「なおえつ良品市場」や、「みんなの顔を見て食べるからおいしい」をコンセプトに、カレーやラーメン、定食、スイーツなど、世代を問わず楽しんでいただけるラインナップを揃えた「なおえつ良品食堂」を展開し、地域の魅力や食のおいしさ・楽しさを伝えるお客さまのくらしに役立つ店舗を目指します。
また、さまざまな本との出会いを楽しみ、ゆったりとくつろいでいただける「BOOKS & CAFÉ」のコーナーは、無印良品へ初出店となるスターバックスとMUJI BOOKSで構成。「カルディコーヒーファーム」「久世福商店」と合わせて、食の多彩さ、楽しさをお伝えしていきます。その他にも、無印良品の店舗では全国初となる「無印良品の家 陽の家」のショールームの導入や、無印良品の視点で国内外のアウトドアブランドの商品をセレクトした「MUJI CAMP TOOLS」のコーナーなども展開します。
また、店舗を飛び出した取り組みとして、「移動販売バス」も実施します。店舗まではなかなか足を運びづらい中山間地などにお住まいの方々のもとへ無印良品から出向き、会話し、くらしの安心と楽しさをお届けします。8月の実証実験を経て、秋から本格稼働を予定しています。

On Monday, July 20, MUJI NAOETSU will open at the Naoetsu Shopping Center in Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture, Japan.
MUJI NAOETSU, as one of the largest MUJI stores in the world, is home to the “Naotsu Ryohin Market” that sells local agricultural products and specialty goods, as well as the “Naoetsu Ryohin Cafeteria,” which, with the idea of “foods are delicious when enjoyed together,” features curry, ramen noodle, set meals, desserts and other foods that can be enjoyed by all age groups. The store aims to introduce local attractions as well as the deliciousness and fun of food, in order to serve the daily life of the customers.
The Books & CAFÉ corner features MUJI BOOKS and Starbucks Coffee, where customers can have a relaxing time and enjoy a wide range of books. It is also the first time that Starbucks Coffee opens its store in MUJI. Together with Kaldi Coffee Farm and KUZE FUKU & Co., we are communicating the diversity and pleasure of food. In addition, there is also an in-store showroom for Yo no Ie (MUJI Plain House), the first of its kind, as well as a MUJI CAMP TOOLS section presenting outdoor brands from both Japan and overseas selected from the perspective of MUJI.
