#BehindTheShot with #CanonExplorerOfLight @joelgrimesworkshops “This image of Leah was created using three Canon 600 EX-RT Speedlites; two were illuminating the white background, one was in a 24 inch Beauty Dish placed over the camera pointing to the subject. I created two exposures. For the first, all three Speedlites were triggered, but on the second exposure, just the two background lights would go off. This gives me one image that is completely silhouetted. Then in Photoshop, using a mask I can selectively reveal or paint in the first exposure image as needed. In this case, I just painted in the face. For the camera, I used the Canon EOS 5DS R with the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM lens. F/7.1 200th ISO 100”
